National Air

Our A/C stopped working a day before we went out of town, so we needed a repair done quickly. National Air sent a very nice tech (Nguyen) out later that day. He was on-time and very professional. He figured out the problem, showed it to us, and explained what needed to be done. He gave us an estimate and then repaired the unit very efficiently. He was neat and careful about his shoes and hands being clean when he was working in the house. He was very pleasant to deal with. I would absolutely use them again!

THE TECHNICIAN AND INSTALLERS DID A GREAT JOB. IT WAS ALL DONE ON TIME.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It turned out very well. I paid more than the Big Deal because our freon level was low in the unit so he charged up our freon for me. He was telling me about some other options. We have R-22 freon unit and how that freon is going away basically. They're changing over to R-12. He explained to me what was happening in the A/C world and how eventually we have to switch over to a different type of freon and they are able to do those services if we were to need them and use them. They were right on time. I'll have them come out and do my heater.

It was great! They showed up when they said they would and they did the work. It was very easy. No hassle. Everything went very smoothly. The only thing is when they finished, they just left. They didn’t communicate that well with me, but other than that it was awesome.

Our a/c unit broke about a week later, but I think it was coincidental. We had another company come out and repair it. I was not here when National Air came, but my husband was. He said he was happy with the service.

It turned out very well. I liked that they were honest with us about what unit to get and that they offered to let me go store to get the correct circuit breaker, but they also offered to go and I let them do that.

It turned out good. They did the tune up in maybe an hour. They came right away and they were very efficient and nice. They were also very responsive.

Arrived on time, quickly and efficiently installed surge protector, cleaned up and left.

They did their job and did it well. They were pleasant to work with and did not try to over sell me.

My overall experience with National Air was exceptional ! I had several quotations from other reputable companies and when all considered, National Air was clearly the most competitive. I particularly liked the fact that the owner of the company Roy Calante was the person who came and made the actual estimates and proposal. He is extremely knowledgeable and was able to give me all the information I needed to decide which system made the most sense for my needs. Once the job was started Mr. Calante supervised the installation until its completion. During the same time he was very easily accessible to me and met with me on several occasions after-hours, in the evening to make sure that everything was being done to my satisfaction. After the job was completed he came again in the evening to be sure that not only was I satisfied with the installation but to be sure that I understood how to use all the features of my new wi-fi thermostats. His work crew was very courteous and professional and very careful in ensuring that walked through areas were well protected and did an excellent job of cleaning up afterwards. I also was very impressed with his office personnel. Both Maria and Priscilla were extremely helpful in making sure that I received all of my important documents including receipts, Trane registration papers and warranties. In summary most impressive is the fact that National Air and their entire team followed through from start to finish with everything that they said what they would do, all in the same time frame initially stated in the proposal. This all in the peak heat of summer ! Based on my experience I would highly recommend National Air to all of my friends, family and neighbors.

They found that the capacitor the first company installed had melted. They were aggressive and rude. We called the owner and had difficulty getting in touch with him. When we told the secretary what happened they were shocked. We were 5 days without air conditioning from Sept 26 - Oct 1st. They told us if they found something in the warehouse he would fix it and replace it for us. They were offering a 10% coupon and would not honor it. They were suppose to put freon in but they didn't do anything.

The technician arrived within a few minutes of the appointed time, performed the work quickly and efficiently, and departed. There was nothing exciting about it. The only glitch was that the "Angie's List" confirmation of the order stated that someone from the service provider would contact us before 09-03. However, the order was placed on 08-31 and the system was unaware that the Labor Day weekend was coming up. The provider did call relatively early on the 4th. They also did a follow-up phone call to ask how the work had gone.

Couldn't be happier with the company, the crew, the owner and the office staff. The crew were wonderful. A level of respect and professionalism that I haven't seen in a long time. Respected me and my property. I only wish they would also do contracting/renovation work as well. I'd hire them without other estimates. The quality of the workmanship is top notch. They did all the prep work necessary to go about their job without adding any work for me to go back and clean. They worked until 8:30 pm the second day to finish the job. It was a complete re-do. I'd been having trouble finding a contractor to replace my attic door. The owner removed the door, brought it to a magical place and came back fixed. He saw a problem and took it upon himself to make it right. He didn't have to do that. He could have done the job without taking the time and labor to have it fixed. He's a good man. National Air is a Trane Certified dealer and rep. A top of the line product with top notch representation. The lady in the office was always pleasant and prompt in all my dealings with her. Very professional.

It was a good experience. They were fine and I don’t have any complaint.

He checked inside and outside. And make sure everything was clean and well service. I will be using them again next year.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was okay. A week after that, it broke anyway. It wasn't necessarily their fault but having an inspection did not prevent any sort of breakage or anything. The actual guy was pretty good and professional. I'll never know if it would have broke anyway. They didn't find any issues when they were here. He told me one idea that might be causing issues but that was not it. I did what he suggested immediately and it did not prevent any further damage. I might use them again, I don't know.

Not as expected. The technician did not provide any update and left without sharing with us any issues. Two days after her left, one of the units stopped working. We had to get another technician to fix the problem and had to pay to resolve the issue.

Service tech was punctual, did a good job and was responsive to questions. I was informed the owner would call back with a quote on another repair item and after I called three separate times over a two week span, I finally received a quote that was $1,000 higher than two other service providers.

The technician cleaned and checked out the whole system. He was professional and seemed to do a thorough job. My only problem was with communication. When he was done he said there was a slow freon leak but did not give me much information about my options or the urgency in fixing or replacing the effected parts. I received a follow-up call with an estimate (expensive) but still am not clear about what my options are - and there didn't seem to be any urgency. Still, I appreciate the reputation and professionalism of the company and intend to use them again.

I thought they did a good job. They weren't down here that long and it was just an inspection. We used another company to do our air conditioning, but we may end up calling them to do maintenance on the system.

Same person as last year; pleasant & efficient.

The National Air employee arrived a few minutes early and was polite and clean. He worked efficiently and was friendly but not chatty. He cleaned and checked the components outside, worked in the attic, and cleaned the condensation runoff pipe. He advised me about the state of the system and seemed knowledgeable about what he was talking about. I would call them again for more work.

I guess it was fine. I don't really notice much of a difference.

We were in the process of buying a house and needed to get an estimate on an a/c replacement. Since we weren't the home owners, they were supposed to charge us but after they knew we got their number from Angie's List, they decided to do it for free. We needed the appointment and the estimate very fast and they were able to come within two days and provide us with the estimate the following morning. They were very professional on the phone and the process went very smooth. But in the end we decided to go with a company closer to us in the northshore. Although, we might use them in a future.

National Air provides efffective, efficient, customer-driven service. The technicians are personable and professional and on time!!The adminstrative staff, including Maria and Priscilla, are helpful, friendly and informative. This is a great company that knows its business and how to deliver for its customers. Here, customers are truly KINGS! Thanks for all your great work.
