An open appointment window was scheduled for within roughly two hours of the time I called National Air. The repair technician arrived promptly, towards the beginning of the appointment window, and completed the inspection, repair, and billing within 30 minutes. He was 100% professional -- efficient, courteous, and respectful.

Very satisfied with serviced provided by technician. He recognized and corrected an issue that was overlooked by other techs and was very courteous, professional and helpful.

Our current company gave us a price of $8500 price for a 3 ton 14 seer Carrier base unit. We thought this seemed a little overpriced so called 8 contractors that came highly recommended. I set up appointments to get quotes from the 6 who responded. Roy had been recommended from National and is who I asked for but instead Greg came out. He was very nice but started in immediately with what felt more like a high powered sales pitch (after asking how much our current company would charge) stating that National's price would probably be just as high, but that National received the top ratings on Angie's List and the Better Business Bureau with a history of no complaints, etc., that National included things like a rubber mat under the compressor, anti fungus tablets on checkup, etc. Much of what he told me was similar to what the other contractors told me, but he wanted to up-sell me to something with a more powerful blower (that we found out from 4 other contractors would have been a waste of money because it wouldn't have worked as well with our 2 story unit), a dehumidifier for a basement with a dirt floor, etc. When he was leaving, he asked if he could go out to his truck and write up the contract right then and there and get a commitment from me saying that it would only take a few minutes! He was quite insistent. I explained that I needed to discuss something of this nature and cost with my husband and to please email me his quote. That was over 1 1/2 months ago. We never received his quote or heard from him again. We hired another company that also had good reviews and an even better recommendation from a friend who had used them for over 20 years who we also felt was much more knowledgable, honest and direct, didn't go for a high powered sales pitch trying to sell us things we didn't need and came in with a similar price to the others I interviewed for a TRANE (or American Standard) system, the same brands National uses... only around $6000 with a better 5 yr instead of 2 yr labor contract and a more thorough semi annual check-up package and it considered standard such items as National told us there would be an additional charge for. This other company provided an estimate within a few days, was very responsive to any questions/concerns I had and installed the unit quickly and efficiently and we're quite happy with their service. I would not call National again.

It ended up costing more than the Big Deal. There was some other work that was suppose to be done, but they never did the other work. The work for the $69 Big Deal for the three units ended up being $99 because I was suppose to get some additional service out of that, but I don't know what. I will use them again.

The tech never arrived, was running late day of scheduled appointmnet day called later to reschedule for next day 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. was to call before arrival, the tech never called or arrived to preform job. 2 days as a no show.

The installation went smoothly. Getting it scheduled was a little rough at first, but everyone was very friendly and completed the job in one day.

Great! Timmy the service tech did a totally thorough job and explained to me in detail all the maintenance he had performed. He was more than happy to answer all my questions. He was very courteous and professional in the performance of his duties .Having dealt with National Air in the past, I would highly recommend them for all your heating and A/C needs.

Everything went well. Let me know there may be a problem w/ a bad component in the future. But everything was ok for the moment.

I should have just paid the full price and used another company, because I definitely didn't feel safer using my heat after this "inspection." The guy was literally in my attic for two minutes. There was supposed to be a test for presence of carbon monoxide, and I asked about this. He said that he didn't have a meter, he just checked visually and by smell. Well, as most people know, what makes carbon monoxide so dangerous is that you can't see or smell it! We ended up having a warm winter and I hardly used my heat. Next year I will definitely not scrimp on inspection, and will hire a different company.

Purchased a big deal for $59 for end of summer tune-up and cleaning. I used them twice this summer. They were very good. I did not have to pay anymore than the price of the big deal. I am going to be using them again this summer. It took less than an hour to complete the service. The workers were excellent. They left it clean when finished.

They showed up on time, professional and did a great job! I plan on hiring them again in the future. I would highly recommend them to others.

New technician who was very nice, but missed the issue of wiring. Eventually it was solved by my alarm service. He moved the wire as directed by alarm service; something I could have done but he had the system open. Issue wasn't really with that as he was learning. But with the fact I was charged for the service call plus an additional hour of labor for his miss. Called to resolve. Polite customer service who indicated it was a management decision and I would be called a few days later. Never happened.

First technician was several hours late. He did not have the proper equipment and supplies to do my specific job. We rescheduled for the next day. The technician did not show up or return phone calls. Called office and they rescheduled service for the next week. The second technician was punctual, professional, and knowledgeable. The service was unable to be performed because the A/C units were low on refrigerant. The company price for refrigerant was excessive. The service was refused. The payment for service was applied to call out charge fee. Unfortunately this service check up is a scam. The check up can only be performed if the A/C unit is working properly. If the A/C unit is working, there is no need for the service. If the A/C is not working properly , the cost to repair is excessive. It is a trap.

Badly. After waiting from 8-11:00am for the mechanic to show up, i was told at 11:00 that I would have to wait another 1 to 1 and a half hours. That would have meant most of the day would be lost. I cancelled. They could have told me earlier that it did not look good for today but they chose to wait till last minute. They obviously have too many customers and not enough techs. I will try to find a company that gives more respect to its customers.
