National Air

Still not "fixed" and no follow-up or return, I was told that I needed to go to Home Depot to buy a part because the technician didn't have the right size fuse. He gave me a fuse that would work but told me I needed to go to Home Depot to get one that would work long term and be the correct size. I think I should have gotten a discount for the amount that I will STILL have to pay to make sure that my AC is running properly. Also was told that he would possibly come back the next day OR follow-up on my AC hose leaking and still 4 days later haven't heard from him. I don't know what "normal" prices are for AC service but I talked to another repair company and they told me that if I had a leak they would charge well below what National Air quoted. IF you have an emergency then these are the guys are great but unless you are willing to pay ALOT of money you should just wait and go with someone else.

The tune-up was performed as expected. Didn't cut any corners, despite the heat of going into the attack in July. Discovered AC needed recharged and did service with a discount because I'm an AL member. Also offered good advice based on questions I had about replacing my HVAC.

the service tech came to my house at the agreed time. he was professional, answered the many questions I had about the service, offered tips on how to keep the a/c unit clean and functioning properly. I felt comfortable with the service tech and will have National Air come back during the fall to do a winter service.

The man was professional and I know from what he showed me that I needed Freon, but I thought the price was a bit high.

I used National Air for a tune-up through Angie's List in 2014 at our old house. When we moved to the new place, I called them again because they were reliable and didn't try to jerk me around. The tech was knowledgeable, on time and courteous. Pretty much what I'm looking for in a service provider. I recommend them and will use them again.

We had a little trouble getting the service performed on time. The first missed appointment was my fault, then on the date that I thought I had rescheduled, they never showed. We finally got it all done and as far as I know, everything was done fine.

I see no opportunities for improvement.

They responded rapidly. They had a technician scheduled in my area the next day and scheduled him for my job. He called to say he was running early and arrived a half hour before the specified time range. He found and fixed the rattle within 15 minutes.

They did not show up to the appointment yesterday. They were supposed to come and discuss duct work and installation of a dehumidifier. I called Roy in the morning to make sure he was coming and left him a message. He did not show up or call me back. I took the day off work for this appointment.

These guys are great--- they are always on time, do a great job, never try to upsell you or push repairs you don't need. Also installed a Nest thermostat for me at a very reasonable price. They stayed and made sure it was working for both AC and heat. Excellent service.

As always their service and response time is impeccable!! They recently replaced my upstairs unit and I had them come in to service my downstairs unit. The gentleman that came over was helpful and explained everything from the cost to the problem and how to maintain the system. I would recommend them without hesitation!

I really liked these guys and will use again. My only possible suggestions is for all service providers not just this one. I own Historic properties and have been general contracting on them for 30 years. It seems every AC and Heating guy has to first tell me that everything in my building was done wrong. Ye,s it is wrong by today's standards but not by the standards in 1960 when it was done.Cutting into door frames and relocating walls is not a viable solution just to get a unit a bit more power. Just once I would like to see someone work with me on the existing and getting as close to compliance at a reasonable price and not destroying the integrity of my buildings. Telling the customer how badly their units are installed does not guarantee future business. Finding solutions for them does.

It was fantastic! It was great! It works better than ever. The guy was very thorough and very helpful. He actually troubleshot something that could be majorly wrong with it that was very cheap to fix. It could have blown the whole compressor out. He caught it early and now it's fine. It will be good for another 5 years. He told me it was still under warranty with the company I got the A/C from. They came out and fixed it. If he wouldn't have seen it, I would have never known about it. It was amazing! I couldn't thank him enough. I even tried to overtip him and he wouldn't take it. I wouldn't even go back to the company I bought the A/C from. I will only use him. The price was incredible. It was the best. It was half the price of anyone else. The quality of work was superior. He was in quickly. He called me back almost immediately and they were out within a week. He was right on time. He was waiting for me actually. I never had service like this ever. He troubleshot something for me and he could have easily told me it's something else and it could have been a lot more expensive. He saved me literally thousands of dollars. I told everyone who has A/C that hasn't been serviced in a few years to call them immediately. I will absolutely use them again, no question about it.

Good overall experience. A few minutes outside of the window arriving, but was the tech was pleasant and seemed knowledgable. Would use again.

The tech was very professional and friendly and serviced both of my AC units for my rental property.

the guy was 3 hours late. inspected the outside compressor my short circuit was bad he replaced and the blow motor fan was bad also. the problem i had with the was that the parts that they changed were extremely overpriced. it had come to my attention that the short two pole contractor he installed was price from the manufacture at 18 dollars i was charged 180 dollars for it part number is (S1-DP240024) YOU CAN LOOK IT UP. Also the blower motor fan was 94 dollars and i was charged 495 dollars again part number S1-FHM3204 YOU CAN LOOK IT UP. i mean if this is not a ripoff i don't know what is.

The service tech, Brian, called me in advance to let me know he was on his way. When he arrived we spoke briefly and he went right to work. I explained that I had a historical pan overflow problem and he bolted straight to the attic to look at the issue. Following inspection, Brian provided the necessary information to resolve the matter. I hovered over Brian's shoulder to learn a thing or two about the condenser, and he gladly offered his expertise and explained a few things that I should know. I would be remised not to mention that Brian is a very personable, energetic and patient (I ask a lot of questions) man. Overall, I was completely satisfied with the service and will use them when I plan to make the adjustments that Brian recommended.

National Air did an overall good job. The $69 inspection cost turned in to an approximately $300 final expense due to the need to add freeon. Other companies cost for adding freeon was much less. I would have been more pleased if the cost did not end up being over triple the original expected amount.

Upon coming home from a weekend away (approx. 4pm on a Monday), my wife and I noticed one of our central a/c units wasn't cooling. The fan was blowing, but the compressor wasn't cycling on. I contacted National Air and spoke with Maria. She was completely honest, in that it was late in the day, but said she would reach one of her techs to let them know about the job. I appreciated the gesture, understanding it might be the next business day before a technician could make it. A few minutes later, I received a call from a technician saying he'd be at my home in 20 minutes. He arrived even before then, checked out everything, and was able to replace some fried wiring. He indicated he felt strongly the problem wasn't anything more egregious. In all, it took him roughly 20 minutes to get the unit up and running. I paid for nothing more than a service call. I couldn't have been more appreciative of National Air's responsiveness, as well as the technician's promptness, professionalism, and skill. I won't hesitate to contact them again.

I had trouble getting the service scheduled for some reason. I had purchased a coupon deal for A/C tune-up, but just wasn't able to confirm a date and a time with National Air. I had several conversations with different people who answered their phone calls, but was not able to get a date confirmed. I eventually gave up and hired someone else to do the work. I am unable to rate them on anything other else, since the work was not performed. I was able to get the coupon purchase price refunded.

I talked to Maria on the phone and her brother Roy came. I regret that I should them another offer. He was nice, friendly and professional. He explained everything in details to my husband but he came up with this ridiculous quote. He came an hour earlier.

Where do I start? I had a few companies give me free estimates. The reason I gave them an A rating isn't because they're the most professional, had the best system for the best price, or that they were on time for the quote and morning of install. It's because of their customer service!! They were willing to work with me and provided me with financing option for the new unit, not only did they send someone out to the house so I could get it financed but they actually treated me like a person and not just some random customer. For them, it was about making sure I could get it installed and financed as quick as possible. The morning of install they were here bright and early at 8am and protected my floors to make sure there was no damage. They were efficient and worked without any complaints of distractions. Best of all, they were able to do such a remarkable job. As someone who has flipped various properties, these are truly the best. They will be on my speed dial for any future ac jobs!

I contacted the company to set up a date for service with the tech to show up between 2-4pm. On the day of the service, I had taken off half a day of work to be available in the afternoon of the appointment but the A/C tech did not show up at the appointed time. I contact the company to inquire if they were coming out and a person said that she would contact the tech to let him know to contact me to let me know if he will be able to come out or reschedule for the next day. I received no calls that evening. The next day at 10am, I contacted the company to let them know I didn't get a call and was wondering if they plan to come out and they said that they will be there in the afternoon which they did show up. The tech did the tune up and check the a/c and found it to be low on freon so he charge it up and the air is blowing cold again. Quality of service is good in regards to the a/c service but the communication leaves more to be desired. The a/c tech guy was nice and professional when he came by to do the work. Pricing was a little bit high for a recharge but that just my opinion.

Before Brian Meyer left my home my HVAC was finally beginning to cool my home...what a relief!!!! The system had been running non-stop before Brian's arrival and we were HOT, BURNING UP in fact. But after Brian worked his magic the house started to cool, in fact, we were cold!!! And the most amazing part of what he did...they system finally began to intermittently shut itself off...cha'ching!!! I was hoping not to spend what I spent, but it was really worth every dime. Great service, Great customer service!!!
