Description of Work: I had 2 30 yr. old A/C units replaced. I called the |office to first see if they serviced the northshore |because I live in Folsom. They said yes it was not a |problem and were able to set up an appointment on my | schedule. This nice young man named John came out and |accessed the situation took measurements and wrote 2 |estimates for each unit. He explained the difference |between both estimates. I was very impressed with his |presentation seeing how I am a single woman and do not know |a thing about A/C units. He did not try to sell me something |I could not afford. He was very mindful of my budget. |The day of the install because I was replacing 2 units they sent | 4 technicians to replace my units. One for upstairs and one | for downstairs. They both arrived on time and |were very friendly, courteous and professional. |They came in and laid tarps on the floor from |the hall closet where the a/c was to the front |door so they would not damage my floors. The same |thing was down upstairs even in the attic where |the unit was. When they brought down the upstairs | unit they placed it in the cardboard box that the |new unit came in so it would not damage the stairs |or floors when taking it outside. The upstairs unit |was an old heat pump so it was a little more work to |replace then the downstairs unit. But both teams worked |really well. After the installations all work areas were |cleaned and no debris was left behind. Shortly after the | technicians left my home the office called to confirm that |everything was done professionally and that I was satisfied |with the work that was done. I told her I was very pleased with |everything and she informed me that another technician would come |in a few days to check that everything was working properly. All was |well. I was very impressed with the whole experience from the first |phone call to the office for an estimate to the final sign off on the |install. I will be using Keefe's for all my future A/C needs. Description of Work: Replaced 2 ton heat pump with Trane 2 ton AC and heat strip heater. Repaired part of ductwork. |Arrived on time and did everything stated in estimate.Some initial problems with the electrical disconnect switch in the drip pan. I called and they resolved the problem.AC works well. Heater seemed to blow out lukewarm air. I called and asked that it be checked. Was told it was working as specified. Somewhat disappointed in heat strips and would prefer heat pump for any similar installation in the future.Overall I would recommend considering Keefe's for AC/ heater repairs or installations.
