Description of Work: I called this company because they were nearby my home and I had seen some of their signs around the neighborhood. So, I had Triangle come take a look at my patio roof which was leaking at the roof joints and panel seams. The roof is approximately 15 ft by 15 ft. It is an insulated aluminum sandwich panel roof with 3 seams and an attachment to the house structure on two sides. It should have been a simple job for a roofer. I was amazed when I saw the estimate. They wanted to melt some rubber roofing underlayment over the seams. This stuff is also known as shingle starter. It is typically used at the edge of a asphalt shingle roof to prevent the edges from pulling up away from the rest of the roof. I have no doubt that it would have solved the leaking problem. However, if they performed this job as they described in the estimate, I would have ended up with a sandstone colored roof punctuated by 4 black stripes approximately 1 ft. wide and 15 ft. long. Their estimate for this work was almost $1000. I did not hire this company.

Description of Work: I recently had Triangle Roofing re-shingle my house after I saw that they had a good record with the BBB. I had gotten other prices and Triangle was the highest price. I called them and they explained that the materials that they used like the felt paper, roof vents, turbines and other materials were the best quality on the market and that their workers hand nailed every single nail as opposed to gun nailing, which is more labor intensive and affects the labor price.I was also told by Triangle that I should ask for proof of insurance from every company that gave me an estimate. I called the other 3 and Triangle was the only company that provided their insurance documentation. The crew came out 3 days after I signed the contract. They were uniformed and very professional. They completed my roof in about a day and a half and it looked great. Afterward, an inspector from Triangle called and came over to inspect the job. I got up on the roof with him and he explained how they used extra material under the valleys and vents to assure a leak free roof. Just wanted to say how glad I am I went with Triangle Roofing. I will definitely use them again if I ever need another roof.

Description of Work: Be VERY CAREFUL with this company. For anyone reading this, my experience happened after Hurricane Isaac... Their man Frank showed up at 6:40 at night on Friday after telling me Thursday morning that I would be the first house they would come to when weather permitted. Rain had stopped by Friday morning. My roof had come off, my ceilings had crashed in and water had run to my downstairs floor and flooded. I have three little children and my elderly father in my home. Frank from Triangle roofing showed up and demanded $1000 to "felt" my roof. I agree this $1000 was his companies price, I felt someone should have let me know ahead of time since there were many calls previous with the office. It was his way of speaking to me which made it a demand. As anyone who has been through this before and expected a tarp price, I was very surprised at the price and asked if I could call my husband to talk to him first. He refused and said he was leaving to go to the next house. I asked for the decency of five minutes since I had waited for him for 3 hours after the time they had told me earlier in the day. He turned his watch to me to show me when my 5 minutes would run out. I came inside to call my husband and remembered his phone had broken earlier in the day and I just busted out crying. If it rained that night, my house would have flooded again. I wrote the check out and brought it to Frank in his vehicle that was already running. I was crying and I told him that he should talk nicer to people who were in bad situations such as a time like this, but here is the check. He ripped the estimate out of my hand, told me he didn't care if my house flooded again tonight and that I was crazy. Then peeled out from the front of my neighbor's house...as I am now hysterically crying on my front lawn. Though the company cannot be faulted for one bad employee, I have yet heard from the company since this happened. To me this means they back his behavior, and do not care about their customers. I should add that I was a previous customer, and though their price was a little high and they weren't all that punctual, I did find their work to be good.

Description of Work: The roofers came to assess the problem on one day and came the following day for repairs. The next day there was a thunderstorm and the repaired area was dry as a bone. Thanks Triangle Roofing!

Description of Work: After receiving an estimate in April, I wanted to do a little research as to which shingles to use. When I called Triangle Roofing and explained I wanted to use Certain Teed shingles (which were not in the original estimate) and I wanted six nails per shingle, Triangle Roofing accommodated my request, rewrote the contract and honored the dollar amount in the April contract. Triangle Roofing does not use a nail gun to install shingles; they hand nail each shingle. The crew arrived early and worked through the heat of the day. The job took approximately 2 1/2 days and before the crew left they went around my home making sure there was no debris from the roof left on the ground. They also ran a magnet around the house to pick up any nails that may have been dropped or fallen from the roof. Once the yard had been cleaned, the crew swept my porch, sidewalk, patio and driveway to insure they left things as they found them. Triangle Roofing is a Christian company I highly recommend!
