Response from Triangle Roofing LLC
You get what you pay for. Triangle Roofing provides free estimates. Included in your FREE estimate was an inspection by someone who has been doing roofing for 30+ years and was able to precisely locate and identify your roofing issue, which your "roofer" apparently has been unable to do for you (hence, you get what you pay for). Could you get the work done cheaper? Absolutely. Would it be diagnosed correctly and properly repaired? Probably not. Anybody can put a "roofer" sign on their truck and tell you they can fix your roof. Will they answer the phone when you call and tell them there's a problem? We doubt it. Just pray they don't fall and hurt themselves because you will have a huge lawsuit on your hands because they definitely do not carry workman's comp insurance. When you call a plumber or a HVAC person out, don't they charge you a fee to diagnose the problem? We professionally diagnosed your roof problem and provided you with a written, detailed estimate identifying what we were going to do and the types of materials to be used. You may not realize but what was included in your estimate was 23.6457% workman's compensation insurance, 2.833 liability insurance, erecting a harness system due to the steepness of your roof, labor, materials, clerical costs, final inspection, just to name a few. Our estimator wrote on his worksheet that you used us just to find the problem because "your roofer" couldn't find it. We knew we were wasting our time preparing your estimate, but we did so because we advertise free estimates and we are a company that stands by our name and reputation. So instead of using the malicious words you used in your review of the FREE estimate provided by our company, perhaps you should have just said thank you. By the way, you're welcome.
