TG&C Roofing impressed me with the details in their job description on their initial quote. They visited our home several times before the job to explain, in detail, what they were going to do and the type and quality of the materials that they were using. They evaluated the existing roof decking and re-nailed any that was loose. They replaced any that was soft, all in the original estimate. They also went over the yard several times with a magnet to pick up the nails that fell during the job. Every aspect of their work was proficient and professional. My mother replaced her roof at the same time and TG&C did hers also. She was so impressed with them that she has hired them to replace some vinyl siding also damaged in the hail storm. I'd recommend TG&C to anyone and if I ever need another roof they will be the only company I will call.

Without a doubt, the best Angie's List experience I've had to date. Mr. Gilmore was quick to respond to my call for repairs. Mr. Gilmore examined my roof extensively and provided a comprehensive description of the problems leading to the interior water damage. Mr. Gilmore's repairs were professionally done and reasonably priced. This company is what Angie's list is all about. Great job Mr. Gilmore!!!

The chimney at floor level is encased in sheetrock, and forms a wall in the bathroom. The sheetrock at the bottom of the wall had gotten damaged by the water before I called TG & C. Tommy Gilmore came out the next day and gave me a very reasonable estimate for the amount of work that was required on the roof. The biggest part of the job was removing and replacing the ancient flashing around the chimney. The shingles around the chimney also had to be removed and replaced. The chimney had to be repaired with mortar--bricks were actually coming loose, and the top was resealed with a galvanized cap. In addition he discovered that there were broken shingles on the roof elsewhere that needed to be replaced. He brought a camera and showed me the problems, and when he finished the job he took photos of his work to show what he had done. He also inspected the other chimneys and the turbines on the roof, and prepared an estimate for repairing them. Everything about the job went well. I couldn't be more pleased. I will certainly use his services in the future.

He showed up when he said he would and completed the job when he said he would. I will definitely utilize his services in the future.

The work went very well. When he got into the roof he did discover that there was a bit more damage than what was anticipated, but not much more. He made the necessary repairs, which I felt went above and beyond the scope of the work. He stayed on budget. At completion and at one point into the project he took the time to explain to me what he found and how it was going to be repaired.

He is very conscientious and he's a good craftsman. He's going to give us a bid on painting our house.
