He came out to repair some water damage and a leak on the roof.

I called with some work on Saturday and he made a plan to estimate the work on Sunday. He was great and seemed very professional. However, he didn't show up and didn't even communicate with me until I called him 4 hours later. He wasted my time. That being said, I didn't give him another chance and I understand that this may have represented an isolated incident.

TG&C roofing did a great job repairing my Dormers. I had to have the work done quickly. They were quick to get the work started and knocked it out quickly.

They showed up on time for the estimate and, even better, on time for the actual work. They were polite, professional and took before and after pictures so we could see exactly what they did. The work was completed on time and on budget. Will use again.

They never came out to do the work. He said he was going to come out and never did. I left them a message before, called them this morning again and still have not gotten any response.

Everything was excellent, there was nothing I disliked. They did excellent service, it was timely, the work was well done, all the debris was picked up. He is coming back to do some more work for me.

Came to the house on time. Left estimate in mailbox. Easily scheduled when he would come. Came on time, did the work in a timely manner. Very friendly and well-spoken. Pleasure to have him do the work.

When I called Tommy Gilmore the day before Isaac arrived, he came when he said he would, gave me a very reasonable price, installed the ridgetiles, cleaned everything up, and left me feeling confident that my roof would survive and not leak. I had no leaks, and no damage.

They were very good and I would recommend them to anybody. They were very polite and cleaned up after themselves.

Called Mr. Gilmor for a roof problem. He mentioned to come on Thursday afternoon. Did not call or show up. Called him again and saying he will be here on Saturday. Still no call and no show. If he is too busy, tell me beforehand like others. Waste my time to wait for him.

Based on the (earlier) excellent reviews on Angie's List I called TG&C for an appointment to estimate a roof job and left a message on their answering machine. A few days later I got a call back from the owner, Tommy Gilmore. In hindsight, that somewhat indifferent response to potential new business was the first sign that TG&C may not be a very well-run company. Tommy was cordial enough on the phone and said that because he was extremely busy the earliest he could meet was after he finished his work sometime between 5:00 - 6:00pm on July 19th, which was almost a week away. I told him that I would take that appointment, understanding that patience is a fair price for good results. On the morning of July 19th Tommy called me to say that his morning job had finished faster than expected and would I meet him at 10:30am rather than in the evening as originally scheduled. It was already a little past 10:00am and I was on the opposite end of town in the middle of other work, but I agreed since it seemed wiser to have a definite time than to battle rush hour traffic and wait around possibly for an hour or more to meet as planned. I quickly put what I was doing on hold, raced across town to the property, and arrived a few minutes before the appointed time. When after more than twenty minutes of waiting at the location there was no sign of Tommy I called him and left a message. Forty-five minutes past the appointed time I left another message to let him know that I had to leave in half an hour. Just as I was backing out of the driveway along pulls up Tommy, a full hour and a half late, offering no explanation for his lateness and lack of communication, nor an apology, which certainly was due since he was the one who set the appointment with me. Nevertheless, I felt it would be useful to take some more time and have him look at the roof and provide an estimate. We climbed on the roof and he took measurements and we discussed the options. He promised to have an estimate to me by the following Wednesday, the 26th. Wednesday came and went, then Thursday and Friday. On Monday I called and left a message inquiring about the estimate. Not surprisingly there hasn't been a response to speak of. Now two months later I see from the latest reviews that what I thought was a unique experience has apparently become routine. That's a pity because Tommy seems like a hardworking man and obviously he's done a lot of satisfactory work, but he has to realize that heedlessly wasting people's time has negative consequences for a service business.

I scheduled an appointment for an estimate on Saturday, September 15, 2012. Mr. Glimore did not show up. I did not receive a phone call from Mr. Gilmore cancelling the appointment or requesting to reschedule.

Called Mr. Gilmore and he set up an appointment time with me then never showed up or called to even apologize.

It went very well.This company is a+++++ I tell every body about this company,as a matter of fact I need some work done and I will call this company soon.

Our experience with Mr. Gilmore was beyond my expectations. We called to a get a quote and he was here the next day to assess our needs. The next day he was here with a detailed estimate. He went out of his way to meet with our insurance adjuster and walk through the required work with him as well. Once work began, he was quick, efficient, and thorough. He provided us with proof of insurance and licenses, guaranteed his work in writing and overall did a remarkable job. He took pictures when he was on the roof so that I could see the "before and after", and also so that I would have something to present to the insurance company. The interior ceiling work was flawless; covering the water stains, taping and repairing a crack, re-applying texture and painting the whole ceiling. I would not hesitate to contact Mr Gilmore for any future work needed in my house.

Mr Gilmore kept appointment and he was on time. He went on the roof and took pitcures, showed them to me and explain what was wrong from the images on the camera, gave me a copy of the pitcures with and written proposal. He and his team showed up when they said they would and finished in 2 days as he had said. They worked very clean did not have shingles all over the yard or flower bed, they hauled away all trash and left our yard in very good condition. Received written detail contract of work done along with new pitcures of completed work along with warrenty for labor and shingles.

Our experience with him was really, really good. He is up-to-date. We are working with him. We are still using him. He gives you a written estimate and warrant sheet. He has done several jobs for us. We keep calling him for our building. He does interior work as well. He will do just about anything with the building except plumbing. His price was good. He is punctual. We called him to do a job and he reminded us that it was still under warranty from him and fixed it at no charge. He is very honest.

The inspection and estimate went fine. I had to contact Tommy twice to firm up a date, which had me a little concerned, but the last time I called, he said the job would be completed by that wednesday. i know my job was small, but I justed needed a firm time for completion. Tommy contacted me on Tuesday afternoon to tell me my job was complete and he would stop by later for payment. The next day we had a huge rain storm and Tommy's repair was pretty solid. I will probably use his team again for some other items that need taking care of. Thanks Tommy

Tommy was third roofer I called before someone would return my call. Scheduled an estimate. Tommy showed up on time and give me a reasonable quote. He preformed the work when scheduled and on time. I will call him if I have need for a roofer again.

They did a very good job. I was very satisfied with the work they did for me.

I am very disappointed with the inability of this company to finish a job. I put down a deposit on May 28th and have seen only sporadic progress in the past 5 months. The job should have been completed in 2-3 weeks but it is still not finished and I am sick of leaving messages just to try and get them to show up.

I thought their estimate was high. Their professionalism was average.

He furnished us with the lowest estimate. We did not choose him based on the estimate but on a smaller job that he had done for me in the spring. This was a very large job. The workers worked all day every day to finish in a timely fashion. They cleaned up all mess and protected the floor and the rest of the house with plastic sheeting. They hauled away all of the debris. His work was great. The ceiling was perfect when finished. Thomas the owner was wonderful. His workers were polite and very conscientious. He came in and got the job done in just over 1 week. I had my doubts that it could be finished so quickly but it was. I would definitely recommend this company. .

Mr. Gilmore made very detailed estimates. 'Took photographs, and explained thoroughly the necessary repairs and how they would be taken care of. He arrived exactly on time, always. He kept in touch regarding when they would arrive, and when their expected completion date was. Any variation to schedule was always reported. He and his men were extremely polite. They took care of everything exactly as they said they would. They left no trash at all behind, and even took the time to make sure no nails were in the street in front of the house. Upon completion of the job, Mr. Gilmore presented pictures of the finished work, and warranty paperwork for the shingles. I would absolutely recommend T.C.&G. Home Repairs to anyone.
