The guys did a fantastic job. They came out and did a full quote for free, emailed the quote back to me quickly and at a great price... way less than the other three quotes I received. Scheduling the job was easy, and they arrived on time and went right to work, asking all the right questions to make sure they did the job the way I wanted it. We paid him by the hour because it was hard to judge what would be involved. The wiring was not very accessible. There were a lot of small voltage wires that had to be removed and replaced. He was honest an fair about the hours. I'm very pleased with the the quality of his work. He really cleaned up his work space at the end of each day. He did exactly what I wanted and explained everything. I asked a million questions. Now I know how the wiring works from the electric company's wire at the street to each light in the house. My electrical vocabulary increased lot!

They replied to my request for a quote almost immediately after I entered it on Angie's list and came out the next day to evaluate the job and give me their quote. I got several other quotes that took longer to get. They weren't the cheapest but were close and explained in detail what would have to be done. They were straight to the point, no BS and answered all my questions. I decided to use them and called them a week later and they came out that same day. They ran into numerous problems as a result of the design of the house and how the builder had run the electrical wires throughout the attic and walls. They explained and showed me each problem and I was impressed with the solutions they came up with to bring the job to a successful conclusion. The job required extra material and ran an hour and a half over estimated time but they only charged me about an extra hours worth of labor. I thought the price was very reasonable and the quality of the work was excellent. I have another job coming up in two months and will definitely be using CDM.

Dave was punctual, explained the problem with pictures and what he was going to do to fix it. if he came across a problem and he was doing something different than he explained he told me and when he was done he showed me the completed project with pictures of what he did. I truly appreciated him communicating with me like he did. I have more things that I need done and he will be the Electrician I call.

Two gentlemen from CDM arrived on time and quickly started diagnosing the problem. It was not an easy diagnosis but they quickly found the culprit which was a neutral short to ground in a light switch. Provided very good communication and did what they said that they would. I will hire them again if I ever need a good electrician.

David Martin, owner and technician, was very accommodating of my constantly changing schedule. I Had to reschedule several times and he was flexible and kind. Services provided included installing three outdoor light fixtures which he and assistant Greg did quickly and with ease. They look great. They are hanging at the correct length, globes are at the right orientation and I am very satisfied. David pointed out an issue with the position of the hanging lamp in the front entryway. The contractor had positioned the electrical connection off center so that the new hanging lantern looked askew when viewing through the arched entry way. He offered to correct this at no additional cost. I would recommend CDM Electric to family and friends.

We just purchased a house that had several electrical issues that we wanted to address prior to moving in. David and his assistant were prompt and thorough with the initial walk-through and consultation. During the work, David discovered that the house had peculiar wiring which caused the job take longer than originally anticipated. David communicated all of his discoveries very thoroughly and suggested a plan to address the issues. Overall I feel like David and his assistant were very honest, thorough and professional. His price was very fair for all the work that was performed and all of time required to test/troubleshoot the wiring issues that were discovered. Honesty, integrity and extreme kindness!!!!! I have lived in this old house for 14 years and have had a few minor electrical problems but a couple weeks ago all the breakers for the kitchen started tripping. I contacted my home warranty company and they sent a HORRIBLE man who insisted the only way to fix the problem was for HIM to install a new breaker box and meter to the tune of $3000. I then contacted CDM Electric and David Martin came out to diagnose the problem (no consultation fee). He was honest and understanding, assessed the problem and returned to completely fix it for $300, NOT $3000. Additionally he and his associate wrangled a problem with my ceiling fixtures at no extra charge. When they were all finished I wanted to give David a big hug but he was all sweaty and gross (lol).
