Not good at all
Description of Work: Built a deck in the back of my house. He used a nail gun. He put 3 nails at the very top of each board and now the boards are splitting. He did a horrible job.

We did this deck last summer and dealt with a women named Dee. The two women living there were very happy with our work and wanted a bid on screening in a porch. I also had another crew do a project for them that went very well. We don't leave a job until everyone is satisfied. If there was a problem we would have gladly rectified it, even after the job was concluded. I don't know what has transpired over the past year but I feel we were prompt and very fair with our price, and our work. Thanks, Don

Description of Work: Provider subcontracted work. I had a sidewalk and driveway poured. They didn't bother to rope off after they poured the concrete. Now there are all kinds of large indentations in my concrete. All of the edges are rough, the slant of the sidewalk goes towards my home instead of away from my home and much of the sidewalk has areas where the water just lays there. (It doesn't drain at all) Many of the sidewalk and driveway area is largely chipped. I contacted Don on 4 separate occasions to rectify the matter however he never followed through. Buyer beware. This contractor will not resolve any problems you have. He did an absolutely horrible job on my concrete.

This member hired someone else to do the job. According to her they took a check for $1200 and would not come back to complete the job. I think the stains on the sidewalk are from dirt that was piled up from the previous person doing the work. I didn't include dirt work, only finish forming and pouring the sidewalk. We followed the existing sidewalks in the neighborhood. the water sitting on the walk is around the city of Kenner's cast iron, either a sewer or water meter cover. Municipalities don't allow anyone to move their plumbing so we had to finish around this meter cover. Her only complaint was a 2" chip on the edge sidewalk where a nail from a stake broke a piece off after removing the form, and the water around the meter that that sat for a while. We set up times to do the punch list several times and it was raining a couple of those times. We did go back and finish the things she pointed out . She did have us add an additional section of sidewalk from her drive to the rear door. We did drive the 80 mile roundtrip to do the patch, the 2" chip and we cut a small trough with a grinder at the cities meter cover to let the water run out better. After the sidewalk was finished the neighbor had my finisher pour her sidewalk also. This women recently called me and wanted me to go to court as a witness against the guy who took her $1200. I declined because I don't know anything about what transpired before I got there. She offered $50 if the finisher would go to court. He lives 40 miles away, makes$200 a day, is always busy and also knows nothing about the previous contractor. That one corner in the picture could have been finished better, if pointed out we would have done that when we did the punch list. Read all my previous concrete customers comments. Sorry that she got ripped off by the original person trying to do the work. I gave her a very reasonable price. Hope that helped.

Description of Work: Don was very responsive to my request, and stopped over when we agreed to meet and provided a quote. I liked his style and his quote was competitive. I selected vendors to meet with who I thought had insurance. Unfortunately, Don did not have current insurance which I understand with smaller businesses so I went with another provider. If this is not important to you, I would recommend meeting Don for your fencing needs. My overall score is lower b/c of the no insurance.

Don and the crew did an excellent job of removing the old corian counter tops and replacing them with new granite tops. He was honest and up front. On time. The price he quoted was the price I paid (no hidden gotchas). Everyone was courteous and professional and they did an excellent job. I would (and will) enthusiastically recommend Don to anyone needing work done on their home in the future.

Don was always on time and worked the entire day. He not only replaced and repaired, but found solutions to existing problems and provided improvements that did not exceed his estimates. He actually saved me money. He was fair and trustworthy.

The project went very well overall. I recommend Don because he is on-time, reasonable, and always available for status updates on project. The final job cost was higher than initial estimate because I expanded scope of project to include window detail and marble trim work on window header. Don was reasonable on project/scope expansion adjustment.
Description of Work: Tiled entire kitchen with 2" x 4" marble tiles. This includes pencil marble and header in and around window, glass shelves, and built-in kitchen bookcases.
