The Electrician was VERY friendly and professional.

We have used that company on and off probably for 4 or 5 years. They're very good. They're very prompt, like I called them one day and they came the next. Their people know that they're doing and they're very professional. We just have good experiences with them. We've used them a long time.

All work on both occasions went as planned, was professionally done for the quoted priced and on time. On each occasion the work site was cleaned and left as found. The work was explained to me so I could understand the need for it.

Do get estimates! The electrician spent about two hours on the job. Besides the fixtures themselves, the cost of which was not itemized, the fee seems to be about $300 an hour!

The splice was not much of a challenge but I was happy he was willing to do it. I had called a few other services and they were not willing. Too small a job I guess. Mr. Electric tied in to an existing outlet in my laundry room to install an additional outlet where needed. They called before coming and showed up on time. The job was performed quickly in about 30-45 minutes. The technician, Derek, was courteous and he left my laundry room clean and ready for use. I don't really know how to rate the price charged. This is the first time I've hired an electrician in over 20 years. I will say that the price did not cause me hesitation.

We wanted to move our TV and put it above the fireplace. The guys from Mr. Electric were fantastic. They called to confirm my appt, then called a half hour prior to arrival. I was so impressed when they put a rug outide my door and then put shoe coverings on so as not to track up the floors! They were courteous and professional.They completed their work and cleaned up before they left. We were so pleased that we recommended them to our sister for some work they needed done. She was equally impressed with them and will also use them again and , like us, will recommend them to family and friends.

I needed an electric oven installed. The old one had been removed and discarded, and the new one was 1 foot away from installation site. The week before a professional electrician was on site, remeasured the space and looked over the manufacturer's spec sheet on the replacement oven. He confirmed the new oven would fit (he was not available to install it on its delivery date). I called and explained all of this to Mr. Electric and the very nice business manager researched it and called back with a quote. That quote was $139. I confirmed that I would have an acceptable form of payment on the installation date. The techs came out, looked around, and went and sat back in the drive for 12 minutes. When they came back in they said the cost would be $397.28 - nearly 300% more than the quote. They said the reason was that I'd need a male plug and a receptacle ! They put three different costs associated with this job: $187.56, $54.47, $155.25, but these are not itemized. There is a narrative beside these charges which reads, "We will install a 50 amp male & female receptacle. We will make proper termination and check for proper function." Of course I had to take off work to go through this frustrating episode.

The whole process went very well. The work was done to my satisfaction. I was impressed by their professionalism. When they entered my home they covered their shoes. When they completed the work, they cleaned up and left everything as they found it. They were polite and friendly. About a week or two after they did the work, I realized that the security/motion detector light was coming on but did not go off until it was light. I called and Mr. Electric sent the same electrician who checked the light, determined that it had a bad sensor, purchased a replacement, and installed it. I have had no problems with any of the work that was done. I plan to use Mr. Electric any time I need any electrical work done. They are excellent.

The work was done quickly, safely, and professionally. It was thoroughly explained in advance, including literature explaining the hazards of the old FPE panels (also confirmed through internet searches) if a failure would occur. Replacing breakers on this new box will be FAR cheaper than the old FPE ones, should that need arise.
