Description of Work: We have a Mini Split Indoor Unit that we bought through another provider. They attempted to service the unit and determined the electronics needed replacing. However the electronics and installation was nearly as much as the unit. Since the cost was too high and the provider would not order the part for us, we did not contract the provider to repair the unit.

Description of Work: Removed and replaced all duct work in home renovation project and replaced one central heating and A/C unit with a new Trane unit. Very pleased with the work that was done. Description of Work: Installed a new unit; my old one came with the house (new construction) but only lasted a little over 5 years. Just out of warranty. If not for Michael Guilbeau I wouldn't be nearly as pleased with this provider. Michael is remarkably efficient and gave me his personal number to make sure I was taken care of. I did contact him about an issue and he took care of it in record time. He has integrity and stands by his word. He is a sales rep. for Dave Broussard. .

Description of Work: The staff a Dave Broussards has always been the best in service for our family. Our unit went out on a Friday and a tech came on a Saturday to put in a temporary unit. On Monday his crew led by Tanner started changing out our entire system. They were very polite, clean and consistant with the project working in an addic of 110 degrees. I called at the last minute to add some equipment and the salesman delivered it himself. The system is a internet based system from Trane and the guys knew the one and outs of their product. We are very satisfied with the service. The price is steep but you get what you pay for these days .

 + -1 moreOne of our 3 ton Bryant central air units (approx 20 yrs old) was only blowing hot air. Called Dave's and got a tech at the house within a couple hours of calling. (Called Wed early afternoon and he was here before 5 pm). Quickly diagnosed the problem. Condensor fan not turning, bearings likely out. Capacitor also bad (top was bulging out, not flat and looked as if about to burst. Quoted me the repair cost of 646 which includes the 69 dollar diagnostic/service fee. Called Old Republic Home Warranty and he talked to them on the phone. They approved the repairs and he fixed it in less than 1 hr. Checked the freon and it was back up and running just fine.
Description of Work: Changed condensor fan motor, capacitor.

 + -1 moreOur a/c was not blowing cold air so we called Dave's and they sent a technician out promptly. (I can't remember his name, but he was very polite and professional.) He immediately found the problem, fixed it and was on his way in no time. We were very pleased with Dave's...we decided to get a service contract with them because we definitely approve of their work.
Description of Work: a/c unit outside was not running. runcap needed to be replaced.

 + -1 moreWe called DB A/C and they were able to come within a couple of hours. They were very professional and timely. The technician called us back the next day with a quote to replace the coil and we set up an appointment. He did a good job. There was a slight mess left behind, but that was minimal. Overall I'd say it was a good choice. The cost was a little more than we were hoping for, but I know A/C repair is costly no matter who you go with.
Description of Work: Our A/C was blowing, it just wasn't cold air. Dave Broussard's A/C told us we had a leak in the coil. He refilled it so we could have cool air that night. They replaced the coil. We also signed up for a service contract.

 + -1 moreOne day our a/c was blowing hot air; it was late in the day so we called the next day by noon. Dave's service guy showed up checked out the system and found out the heater was turning on at the same time as the a/c. He checked all the switches and the thermostat and all the wires to find the problem turn out to be a short in one of the many wires; he got us cool air back in no time.
Description of Work: Service a/c, clean and repair.
