Great. Ray Forrest was great to work with. Despite the flooding that affected the area, he was able to respond to our needs and did a great job.

Three years ago, my wife and I decided that because of my age, I needed to stop doing our lawn care and cutting grass. Ray Forrest was recommended to us. We tried him, liked his work and we have been using Ray's services ever since, Ray continues his weekly lawn care during our long growing season and as needed during the cold months in South Louisiana. Ray has designed and completed two different landscaping projects this past year, which we are very pleased with. He is in the process of replacing some ground cover on another project. We have some shrubbery in our back yard, which needs to be replaced. That will be his next project. My wife wanted some trees planted recently. Ray planted several Cleveland Flowering Pears and some Japanese Magnolias for us. Ray's prices are reasonable, he is very dependable and his ethics are commendable. We communicate mainly thru texting and he responds in a timely manner. We highly recommend Ray Forrest and Sasquatch Landscaping to anyone who wants quality landscaping and lawn-care. We feel that Ray Forrest should receive the 2016 Super Service Award.

He does a great job. And when I told him my budget he worked Gardner to stick to it which was very important to me.

Excellent! We have had water collecting on our sidewalk, along our driveway and under our deck. Now the water drains nicely. The front bed has a variety of pretty shrubbery and trees, beautiful!!!

We were apprehensive at first about the price but he worked with us and helped us to figure out what he could do with amount of money we were able to spend on the project. We've gotten lots of compliments on it and even a neighbor is getting them to work on their yard.

Ray came out for an estimate promptly and designed a landscaping plan for our 1950s home. Ray's design stayed true to the character of our home and used traditional plants native to the area. The job took a bit to get started due to the weather and holidays but only took about 4 days to finish once started. Ray came in under budget and his crew was great to work with! Overall we love the new landscaping!

Very happy. Took a little while to get the project off the ground (probably due to weather and the fact that we weren't in a rush), but it took about a month for Raymond to get started. Project lasted 4 days. He and his helper were very courteous and friendly. Attention to detail as well. He was always good to deal with and responsive to communication requests via text, phone or email.

Ray Forrest, the owner, came out for the initial consultation. I explained what was happening and he gave me several options. I found him extremely personable and friendly which was greatly appreciated. He explained the problem thoroughly, took pictures, measurements and provided an estimate in a couple of days. His estimate was fair and reasonable but most importantly-far lower than the other two estimates I received. I'm glad I selected him. While Mother Nature derailed our plans to start a few times, Ray called weekly to provide an update. Once we started my project, I received updates daily with pictures. We made a few minor changes along the way as Ray identified other potential problem areas. One evening I was able to meet two members of his crew. They were very friendly and explained the installation process and how the drainage would push the water away from the home. Nice! Upon completion of the project, we did a final walk through and I even received recommendations for landscaping ideas and lawn care. Ray is a talented and passionate landscape architect. He is top notch. I will call him for all my landscaping needs.

Great job, very pleased with the final result. Mr Ray Forrest (Sasquatch) and his crew of 2 workers staggered the sod squares and took special care to run straight and parallel along the perimeter of the house. Upon completion, they took special care on trimming around areas that were not square. Mr Ray gave great advice on a watering schedule, fertilization, and weed control. Cost of service was for material cost of 13 pallets of sod, 2 delivery runs for sod, and labor for sod installation. Cost of service (3000.00) does not include grading/leveling and river silt by Mr Henry Davis. Although all issues with drainage could not be solved by the grading/leveling (because of existing home elevation), it was an improvement. Phase II to come with catch-basins.

We have been working with Ray for the last 3 years on the several projects listed. In September 2013, after installing a fiberglass pool, we contacted Ray to complete our backyard oasis. He submitted designs for our approval, worked with our requested changes and my request for minimum maintenance. Ray reran the drainage line that was damaged during pool installation. For the flower beds, he suggested using these beautiful black Mexican beach pebbles, which were a home run. Automated irrigation system was installed. At my request, Ray installed Zoysia grass sod, which we love because it's so tidy & neat. During this phase, Ray also built me a bocce court, which was the ideal way to utilize the long, narrow space between the pool and the fence. In 2014 we contacted Ray to run additional PVC drainage line, install a Pavestone patio, and create another flower bed (finished with the Mexican pebbles, of course). In March of 2015, Ray started work on our front flower beds. They were raised beds that were poorly sloped, which caused poor drainage. Ray removed the rear 2 feet of the beds and installed a rock drainage area from the roof drip line to the house, which has worked perfectly. The beds themselves were re-shaped and edged with angled brick. Ray discussed flower and plant layout with us and did what we were never able to do. He made our flower beds beautiful. They have been beautiful from April through August. The glorious white hydrangeas Ray chose are the highlight. We were rewarded for Ray's efforts by winning the Woodlawn Estates Yard of the Month in July. First class work from a first class man. Highest recommendations.

Does a good job and is friendly. Very responsive by text, not so much by phone. About 20% more expensive than others, but I've had absolutely no trouble with Sasquatch. My neighbors have been impressed with their work.

Mr. Henry Davis went to great effort to find a more economical source of river silt. He was very skilled as to the operation of the tractor and used two separate attachments to obtain an excellent result with the final grading of the lot. Mr. Forest ran into trouble in that a stump for a very large water oak had not been completely chipped. He had to go to Home Depot and rent a stump grinder to make the area workable. He did so with all speed and did not charge extra for the additional labor involved. He was very detailed in the preparation work prior to laying the sod. He was hands on in laying the sod and directing his assistant. They worked diligently and were very friendly and professional in getting the job done. Cleanup of the site occurred on each day of work. The concrete repair work was excellent. The overall quality of the job exceeded my expectations and I would gladly employ the same people again. The money was well spent.

Ray did a great job. The project ended up being bigger than expected, but still came in on budget. My backyard now drains even better than I expected it to. Ray was a pleasure to work with.

Ray was great to work with. He showed up to give me an estimate beforehand as well. He was on time and did extra work for me. I have referred him to others. I felt the prices were reasonable.

He is a nice guy and does good work. He is a little chatty though. It was good. It was reasonable. He did a lot of work for us. It is not finished. We had him take everything out that needed to be taken out, but we're also going to call him back and have him put stuff in when we get the repair work on the house and the house painted. Then we'll have the stuff put in. He'll work the beds for us. He is hard-working, friendly and chatty. The job went fine. He came in and did it on his own on a weekend. He did the whole thing himself. Usually, he brings the crew. Apparently. we were a small job he did it himself and he was here for several hours. The price was excellent. He is really punctual especially if you do it through text because he has his phone with him all the time. He can't always answer it because his hands are nasty working, but he does get back to it very quickly. In fact, the first time I contacted him I had just sent the email and within like 3 minutes he called me back. He is very fast.

Everything went great. He was on time did an excellent job, and he was very professional. I would recommend this company to family and friends.

I called and made an appointment with Raymond to come out and give me an estimate. The first appointment he didn't show up for or call. I decided to give him a second chance. He showed up for this one. He seemed knowledgable and made several suggestions spent a longtime checking things out. He said he would send me an estimate in 2 or 3 days, which was fine. That was more than 2 weeks ago and I have not heard from him. I have called several times and he has not returned my calls. If you can't trust him to return a call or give an estimate I certainly wouldn't trust him with your property.
