The project went smooth. A lot of hard work in the summer heat, on hands and knees planting a lot of mondo grass. That part took forever and required patience. Old pea gravel was removed and replaced with a stone walkway and numerous other plants were installed, as well as top soil and mulch put down. I wasn’t at hope the first couple of days when the project finished, so Ray came by to water everything. After payment was rendered, he came back to make some small adjustments to account for water drainage after the 8 inches of rain fell in one day. Would definitely use again, as Ray takes pride in his work and wants to make sure the customer is happy.

Our scope of work was to lay sod in the yard after a separate project has caused some ruts in the yard and resulting in the loss of most of our grass. We also included the addition of new underground drains, addition of a rock garden and revamping of existing flower beds. Raymond met with us and and provided quotes in great detail allowing us to modify and add to the scope of work. All the work was done on time within the schedule he estimated. The project was delivered within the quoted budget. The quality of work was outstanding. We are very happy with the outcome and will certainly use Sasquatch again on our next project.

Raymond has maintained my lawns for several years now as I am active duty military and was stationed in Alaska when I first started using his services. I met him in person before he was hired and just knew he was the right person for the job. Every time I have gone home for a visit to Baton Rouge I have always found the grass cut and the lawn perfectly manicured. Even if I showed up unannounced I have always found the grass freshly cut and the lawn in tip-top shape. He is very dependable and always follows through and does whatever he says he is going to do for you. He is a person that is very easy to talk to and is also very helpful if you need help making decisions regarding landscape design, all things horticulture, and irrigation services. And yes, I would strongly recommend him to anyone who reads this who is scrolling through all of the lawn service adds on Angie's List looking for someone who is very dependable and reliable.

Ray has always done professional work from general lawn maintenance to most any type of landscaping. His prices are fair and he is willing to work you in for extra jobs if needed. He has always been polite and courteous. He also has found an outside water leak and notified me while I was away. Would highly recommend Ray and his services.

Still no update on the estimate. The search continues for a great company who responds in a timely manner!! If companies are too busy they may need to just focus on the work they have because it is annoying. Angie's List may need to take time and update ranking based on communication and customer service!

Owner was responsive to request for quote. He came right out and gave me a price I consider to be fair so we have hired him to regularly maintain the yard. His first time here, he and another worker really shaped up the yard. They cut, edged, blew off drive and porch/patio. Also cleaned up the neglected beds. They did a fabulous job the second time, too, and if he will always maintain the yard so well, I will be very, very happy!

Great! Owner promptly responded to my request through Angie’s List for a quote. He came out and made a quote I was satisfied with and showed up as promised to do yard mowing, edging, and weed whacking, all included in regular weekly maintenance during growing season. He will weed also at an addition cost per hr. We were charged for 2 hrs of work for weeding, a fair number considering the work involved. He’s been here just once so far but if he continues with this good work, I will be glad I found Sasquatch landscaping.

Overall we were very happy with the experience. Ray did what he said he would do in the time frame indicated, the job site was left neat and tidy, and the work came in approximately $150 under the estimate. I would have no reservations about hiring Sasquatch for future work.

We were selling the house and they freshened up the whole landscaping deal. they cleared a bunch of weeds and dead bushes and planted a whole bunch of bed flowers. They made it look like somebody who cared about gardening lived there. Just very reasonable price, I think. They charge by the hours that they actually work and they're very transparent about what that rate actually is. They do good work at a good price.

Great people and great work! My front flowerbeds were completely grown over after being out of my house for 7 months due to the 2016 flood. Ray and Montreal cleaned out weeds and vines, took out dead or dying plants and shrubs, reshaped the large front beds and brought in new plants. Also redid two beds near street, and one bed around a large oak tree. Ray had good ideas and will work with you to incorporate what you like as well. It took a little time to get project completed, but that was due to a lot of rain and not Ray's fault. Work was done as soon as possible. Hard-working guys for a reasonable, fair price - a combination that's not always easy to find these days. Highly recommend.

He came by to give us a quote. He stayed here, measured everything. He seemed very diligent. I never heard from him again. He never gave me a quote. I never heard from him again. He was perfectly nice when he showed up, but overall he didn't give us a quote. When he did come, he came when he said he was going to.

Ray Forrest was very knowledgeable and friendly.. The service was good as was the quality of the materials and plants he used. He didn't follow up with a few other things we had talked about.

I hired Ray Forrest to do my weekly lawn and flower bed maintenance based off of good reviews on this and other home improvement sites. He did a good job, when he actually showed up. However, after a couple of months he just stopped showing up and would not respond to calls or texts. Completely unreliable.
