As I mentioned previously I am satisfied with the work, but not with the pricing, and in the future will be making a better choice when it comes to having work performed on my home ac,I know it would be pointless to contact these people, but I can get retribution through this review, the technician doing the work was trying to get the owner to cut me a break on the pricing, but the owner would not have it he said to hit me with the higher price, grateful the tech tried, disgusted with the owner, these people care very little customers and are more worried about getting their money, I really overpaid, but my health issues did not allow me to take an alternative route, like I said, money first , customers second, do yourself a favor and steer clear of One Hour Air, there are plenty of other reputable ac service companies out there, research them and you'll be happy you did, wish I had.

No issues with the company. They seem fair and respond timely to ac unit upsets.

I have a service plan and I pay for by the year. Then, they come out and do tune-ups twice a year. The work they do is good.

The service they completed was okay. They were really pricey. They were on time and punctual.

As usual very professional, on time, knowledgeable. I used them in august or September for the first time and signed up for their maintenance club. I don't think you'll find more professional and courteous technicians anywhere. I highly recommend this company as your regular service company.

$89 for the diagnostic $247.00 for a contactor (a part that costs between $15 and $50) $247.00 for a capacitor (a part that costs between $10 and $30) $247.00 for 2lbs of R-22 refrigerant (costs between $11 and $50. You can buy a 30# bottle on ebay for $329) Basically, I paid for a full recharge. I will not be using these people ever again.

I had a long miserable experience with the awful company (which changed its name in the attempt to outrun its bad reputation): they should not even be in business any longer. The machine they installed was over two years old when they put it in as new and was an endless source of trouble and expense. They installed the thermostat incorrectly (and it had to be replaced three times before they moved it). They did a sloppy job with the registers. The ductwork they promised wasn't delivered--they stuck mobile home plastic ducts under the house... Careless, expensive, and awful to deal with: I am so thrilled to have replaced the machine & switched companies!!

They showed up on time I will give them that but everything else has been horrible. Don't walk but run from these people. My a/c was blowing hot air. A guy came and said this is the deal, you need a new capacitor and start up switch. This will be $879.00 or we have a deal. The total will be $834 if you join our "Comfort Club" maintenance plan. What??? This will include them returning in 6 months to check your furnace. A way of getting your return service. I needed my a/c fixed so went ahead and paid for service. After paying, the tech says that he recommends me calling the office and having them selling me a new unit since there is a new type freon now. What??? After I just spent over $800? After he left it did not feel right so I did my research through utube DIY videos etc. Found out I got taken. This service should of been $400 tops. Then 4 days later I check my bank account and find out they double billed me. I had to go into the office to get them to take the double charge off. Then I said I want off your future comfort club billing. They said nothing to sign but I had to make up and fill out my own cxl notice. Which I dd. A guy comes out 6 months later and said my furnace looks fine which I knew. Then the year mark comes along and sure enough I get a bill to renew my comfort club which I cxl'd a year earlier. I went into their office again and was told I need to fill out my own cxl form? I said I already did a year ago. They finally give me a piece of paper that said cxl'd. It's now a year and 3 months from service and guess what? I'm sitting in a hot house as my a/c went out again at noon and making same noise as 14 months ago. I called them twice today to ask for a supervisor and was told they are busy and they will call back. No call back. No nothing. Last year in 2013 this company was not even on Angies list because it was so new or changed names from another company. They have nice new yellow trucks and their office is nice and new. What they need is to learn what customer service is and fair pricing.

I have heard their radio ads and seen one ads on cable channels. When my fan motor broke I telephoned them using yellow pages. They were very prompt. These guys are pirates.The repair prices are very high. They also load up the bill with a bunch of unneeded work. My wife her sister were overseeing the repair. I feel the repairman took advantage of the women by using high pressure sales. A rationale person would never agree to the extra work and prices. But I don't blame my wife. I was the one that placed her in the situation. They have a 87 point "system efficiency report" and about half the check items need access to my attic. My wife says no one ever went into the attic. So I view the report as being half lies. Makes me question the honesty of the other report half. They charged me $796 for a new fan motor (very high). They charged another $247 for a dual condenser. They charged me $247 to add a little freon. They charged anothe $247 for "compressor saver" (just what is this?). They charged me $119 for a tune-up (just what is a tuneup?). Their paper form has six lines for "proposed work". If I were them, I would make a form with 10-lines. A chance for four more unnecessary items to charge customers.

The promptness was good, but the prices were very steep. They wanted to charge me 600-700 dollars for some repairs. The guy was very nice though. The unit isn't but 2 years old, so that made me question the pricing.

When you are purchasing a Central Air Conditioning System you don't know all the components of the system, that is why we asked for a quote for Central AC Unit. The quote was a little over 6K and when we asked around about the price everyone said that price was typical for complete replacement. ONE HOUR AIR installed the unit and it worked for 3 weeks then stopped. Two service calls were made and that is when we found out they did not replace the evaporation coil and now that needed to be replaced for unit to work. We are stuck with a non-working Air Conditioner and ONE HOUR AIR wants more money for the system to work. We have now what we had before this install - a non working air conditioner. The new compressor has been inspected by other vendors and they all say the same thing - the compressor is leaking oil and that we were price gouged. They saw an easy target with my terminally ill, 68 year old mother and charged $6K for an incomplete system. My brother and I have called repeatedly for a week and no one returned our calls. Finally, the Service Manager called me and argued with me that the compressor was not leaking because it was brand new. I told him they misled us with their quote and I demanded for him to arrange to pick up his equipment, he refused. My 68 year old terminally ill mother is living in her home without air thanks to ONE HOUR AIR.
