He was good and the service was excellent. He is always prompt. He is reasonable and always does a good job.

Have had bad experiences with multiple heating and air companies and thought that's just how the industry was. Fortunately I found Mark on Angie's List and while I've only used him one time so far, the experience was very good. First of all, not only did he show up on time, he was a few minutes EARLY. Then, he fixed my main problem, and also EDUCATED me and several other things. Mark is a nice guy, seems very knowledgeable, and prices are very reasonable. I even have a relative in the industry and will be going to Mark first next time.

Had an a/c problem diagnosed over the weekend by an A/C company that did emergency work. I needed additional work of an electrical circuit breaker replaced which they could not do. I called Mark on Monday morning and he worked with my tenants schedule and was out at the condo within an hour. Mark explained what he found and what caused the problem and the solution in detail. Had the diagnosis done with the breaker replaced quickly. All this was arranged via phone as I live out of town. Excellent job, excellent service. He even worked with me on a schedule to meet my LSU student for a check payment after their test. I will definitely call Mark for future repairs.

They didn't charge anything. The guy said it was too easy to fix it and he did it. I have given him a fair amount of work. He is that way.

It went very well overall. Mark was very professional and I was satisfied with his service.

I called in the morning and he was here in the afternoon. He was a nice little guy. I was well satisfied. We live kind of in between Hammond and Baton Rouge and his office is deep into Rouge. It cost me an extra $15 because he came past Walker which is his normal cut off. I am nearly 18 miles past walker and so I understood. He was so prompt and I was well satisfied. He was very polite and very nice. I paid $140 which I thought was very reasonable because it would have been $115 -$120 if I lived nearer. I live in the country and I totally understand. I was well satisfied. He was right on time. He was very professional and personable. He was very easy to talk and he was a really nice guy.

Mark showed up on time, identified the problem, located the parts, went about 50 miles round trip to get the parts, replaced them and problem solved!

Overall I have nothing bad to say about Mark or his work.

It was all excellently done. He is unbelievably great in every way. We have recommended him to other people and we would absolutely use him again. He is extremely professional.

I've used Mark Babin on several jobs now. He's been out for the washer/dryer, twice, once for no charge, as it was because I'd overfilled the thing. Usually, it's easy to get in contact with Mark, and phone calls are usually returned within a few hours. This time, it took several calls to reach him and when he responded, he told me he'd been in serving in jury duty. As this was not an emergency and I like to hear that people are doing their civic duty, I didn't find it a problem. Mark came out, removed all the impeller parts, those spinning parts that provide the water, to get down to the drain. When we did, we found it clogged with, as I said above, all kinds of and quot;g***.and quot; He cleaned it out and reattached all the pieces. He also suggested that I run a dishwasher cleaner through it. He also suggested that I run the hot water tap closest to the machine, so the water, when it enters the machine is hot. He recommended that I do a better job of removing the bits from the dishes before putting them in. He also went upstairs and crawled over the AC vents to see what the hot water heater was set at, and upped the temperature a degree or two. We don't have small children and this hot water heater only services the laundry and kitchen. I will be calling him in the future whenever I need a large appliance looked after. He's prompt, personable, and does his work well, even going above above and beyond. It was he who suggested that we look at the hot water heater, not knowing that we'd have to move a piece of furniture to get the door and that he'd have to climb over ductwork.

I will definitely use Mark for any future HVAC and appliance repairs. He is professional, helpful, and more than fair!

The glass shelf was custom made using another shelf from the cabinet as a template. He found a business to cut the glass, and he created a fixture that had burned completely out that worked out perfectly and even looked better than the original one. His work is of the highest quality!

Mark Babin is great. He is extremely good at what he does. He works by himself. He is the most enthusiastic and kind fellow. He went out to the local store to pick out the fixtures which is hard to find. We wanted something that would match the other fixtures in my forty year old house. He paid for the fixtures, the bulbs and whatever he needed for the wiring. My experience with Mark has been excellent. His price is very reasonable for the time he spends on a job. He made two trips and he did buy everything. I also wanted a case of light bulbs that he bought me at a very good price. He is wonderful with his responsiveness. I would absolutely use him in the future.

He did a very good job and evaluated the appliance as un-replaceable. I found him from Angies list and I actually didn't need him. I have a health care worker, who stays with my daughter in the day and she is the one, he talked to and she said he was very good. I didn't have any personal interaction with him. I would give him a high rating. His communication with me was very good and he did an excellent job. I think what he told me was the truth, that the appliance was broken and could not be repaired. There were people who tried to fix it and charged me a lot of money, but he didn't do that. He was very responsive, in terms of trying to get him and schedule time to come for the job. He was very professional with me on the phone and seemed to be with my health care worker, too. I will use him in future.

He was on time, very professional, fixed my problem, educated me, and then left. He did a good job. I'll definitely use them again in the future.

I am extremely pleased and he will be performing all of my A/C maintenance from now on.

The invisible fence is scheduled to be repaired by the fence company this week so this time the fence will work!

Our A/C was running nearly all day and our house was 85deg inside while set at 72deg on the thermostat. After reading his reviews on here, I called Mark in the late afternoon and had to leave a message. He called me the next day and was able to come out the same day to see what was wrong with our A/C. Mark was prompt, professional, and efficient. He wasted no time going straight to work. He made a quick inspection of our system inside and out, and was very informative about what he saw and was willing to explain everything to me as he went. I asked a lot of questions too. But he seemed to enjoy teaching me all about how the system worked. He even gave us some tips to improve our airflow in our house and lower the strain on our A/C (and electric bill). He then found that the problem was mainly due to our neglect of cleaning the outside unit. Oops. He set about chemically cleaning the unit, and checked/refilled the freon while he was at it. He got everything up and running and right away we could feel a difference in the air quality coming from our vents. He offers an annual tune-up special (which includes 1 pound of freon) and just charged us for that plus the extra freon that we needed. We have other odd and end projects around the house we plan on hiring him for in the future as well as our annual cleaning/servicing of our A/C.

Mark was very nice and helpful, he arrived right on time ... He replaced both lights I asked him to replace and was done in no time... He was professional and I will surely refer him to others as well as call him again in the future. Thanks Mark for a job well done.

The AC unit at my rental propert failed and I called Mark. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a failed capacitor (it had happened before) and replaced. He also noted excessive play in the compressor fan bearing which could have contributed to the failure of the capacitor. I opted to replace the fan motor as preventive maintenance. When I told him the system had never performed up to expectations, he inspected the duct system and suggested some inexpensive improvements to the duct system to better regulate air flow. I agreed to the modification (blocking some registers and replacing several with more efficient grills). The work was done as soon as the grills came in, resulting in significant improvement in system performance. Well done Mark!

Our A/C has been faulty for at least a year and we knew that it had at least one place where it was leaking coolant. Last year we had a similar maintenance done but did not have the funds to invest in a full repair and replacement of the leaking coils. It had been working all right until sometime in late July when we noticed that it was not cooling well, especially in our bedroom. We contacted Mark. Although he did not get our phone message until around 11 a.m., he called us right back and got to our house at 4:30 the same afternoon (we could have scheduled it earlier but this was the most convenient time for us). Once he was there he stayed for more than an hour making sure we were back in shape. This was his and quot;$99 specialand quot; to clean, flush, adjust etc. It included up to one lb. of freon for free; but we needed 4 lbs. which brought the total up over $200. The next day we noticed the system stopped working. We called Mark back and he arrived almost immediately at the house again, found that with the A/C working so thoroughly, the drainpipe to the outside was clogging up and our drip pan had filled. He spent another half hour with us, free of charge, emptying out the drip pan. It worked fine after that; but we ended up having to call a plumber to take care of the clogged drain. Prompt, professional, courteous and friendly. I will use him again, and may ask him to do the repair of the leaking coils. My only reservation concerns the clogged-up drain. I know this is a plumber's job, but I know some A/C men do it as well,and I now have a clue how to handle it myself. If Mark had done this for me, it would have saved me the plumber's fee. In any case, Mark is one of the best home maintenance people I have worked with in recent years.

I was pleased with the handling of the request on the telephone, the follow-up and the cost.

Mark was very punctual, very professional, went the extra mile in checking out the entire A/C system and gave us his opinion. He even called back as he was driving away and reminded me that one of the doors in the house must be kept open to get the best cooling effect. We were very pleased and definitely will use his services again.

Mark responded to my phone call the same day that I called and left a message. He came out the next day in the afternoon. A very pleasant young man. He gave me detailed information on what was going on, plus he gave me tips on how to save on my electric bill with regard to air conditioning. He was very thorough and respectful. There is no doubt I will call him again next year for our annual cleaning.

I will try his suggestion. Definitely appreciate his honesty as his recommendation, brought him no profit. I will surely use his services in the future.
