Mark's Maintenance Service LLC

Mark showed up right on time and determined that the Thermostat was bad, but he didn't have another one that was the same size so we rescheduled for the next morning. He fixed it so that I would have cool air in the house by rewiring the wires from the thermostat and we went up in the attic and he showed me where to plug and unplug the A/C unit so that I would have cold air until he made it back. He also went into great detail about how long I should leave it running and that I could damage the unit if I just left the cold air running all night without a thermostat to shut it down. Mark showed up the next morning (even a little early) and replaced my thermostat. He then went and cleaned my outside unit, checked the attic, and added Freon. He took the time to tell me everything he was doing and I learned alot. He also made some recommendations for a future vist. Mark was very knowledgeable, extremely friendly, and I just had a good feeling about him. I would whole heartedly recommend him to friends and family and I will definately be using his services again.

I really can't say anything because he couldn't do the job but I could not select NA for every question.

We called the service and set an appointment. He arrived on time and repaired the problem in one hour. He was knowledgable and cordial.

Excellent on both trips. Mark really cares about providing great customer service at a fair price and is one of the more honest contractors I have ever come across. He will not mislead you in the service needed and trump up any additional unecessary work just to make a quick buck. He is a great guy!

All work was performed in a professional manner. Punch list was completed and work area was thoroughly cleaned.

Three light bulbs had gone out and he got up on the ladder and changed it. He is a really nice and fair person. He does excellent work. He doesn’t charge too much either. Whatever we’ve gotten from there has been excellent.

My air conditioner was not working and the temperature had risen to almost 90 degrees inside. I have a newborn and a two-year-old so I was panicking. I called a couple of places that did not answer right away. I looked on Angie's List and saw the wonderful reviews for Mark and called him. He came over right away and fixed the problem and even gave my husband some free tips so we wouldn't have to spend more money for him to fix our leaking refrigerator. I highly recommend Mark's Maintenance and will be using him from now on!

In the heat of the summer our central A/C system just wore out. It was old, badly rusted, leaked and not reliable any longer. Needed help fast, wife sick several months and did not need all that heat and humidity. A/C unit we wanted was not in town so Mark ordered everything and was installing it in in about 3 or 4 days. He had to call around country to locate our choice of units.He also kept the old unit limping along while we waited for the new one by coming regularly to service it to give us some cool air. All the work was done on some of the hottest days of the summer and really took a toll on Mark but he never slacked off untill the job was finished. Mark is very professional and qualified in his work. Never had to go back to redo anything, did excellent job for us. He even did some xtra work for us with no charge. We got more than our money's worth on the whole deal! I am not a spend-thrift and would probably have selected a lesser unit but my very wise wife convinced me otherwise. Bless her!! Mark was always here when he said he would be, and I can't express how nice and friendly he was. Hated to see him go when he finished. The kind of guy you would want for a brother or friend. While Mark was working on our problems he was also getting prepared to get married. So all you eligible ladies out there sure missed out on a good man who, we think, is going to be a great husband for the lady who caught him!!

Compressor went out in outside AC unit which was 15+ years old. Everyone else wanted to sell me a whole new inside and outside unit (for $7,500 and up), since the refrigerant change this year. However, Mark pointed that my inside had been changed in ' 01, was good, and would probably last for years. With the work he did, it's been blowing cold and cost me $5,000 less. From my experience, Mark is a straight shooter.

I was very happy with the work. He was very nice, and he extended a special discount to me. He knew it would be hard for me to be home, and though he was booked up he came after hours to get my air conditioner running. Ice was built up on some piping and he was able to repair. I left a key for him to go in and out of my home when w wasn't there. He didn't leave a mess and the price was reasonable.

Mark was great! He was very responsive on the phone--he called me back the same day, after hours, because he'd been working all day--and made time to come by the next day. He called before he came, per my request, arrived on time, communicated his recommendations clearly, and did the work right then. I am very pleased with the results; my AC immediately began running better and cooling rooms that hadn't been getting cool. Mark is polite, pleasant, and professional, and his prices very reasonable. I can't recommend him highly enough!

We scheduled almost a week in advance for a Monday at 1pm. I called Monday morning around 10am to confirm our appointment, but received a voicemail. After I left work and when I was close to the service location to meet Mark, I called again at 12:55pm to try to confirm. While I was leaving a message, he clicked in and said he is taking care of some AC repairs instead and wanted to reschedule. Booking higher priority jobs ahead of mine is understandable, but I would have appreciated it being communicated to me. Not communicating it to a customer until five minutes before the appointment and making the customer initiate even that contact is unprofessional and even inconsiderate.

Mark was very responsive, polite and professional. We discussed what needed to be done and Mark did everything he said he would. He moved the AC unit around the corner of the house and rerouted and insulated all the lines to the new location.

It went well. He finished quickly and everything works well and looks good. He did a little bit extra which is really nice. Left things a little messy, but I guess that's normal. Really nice guy. I'd use him again for sure. The guy is real busy so he's a little hard to pin down.

He is very personable and willing to please. I like him and he has done a fantastic job every time I’ve used him.

Mark was going the extra mile for another customer so he called and let me know that he was going to be late. That was no problem. He called and arrived long after what I would consider normal business hours and he got to work fixing the air conditioning right away. Within half an hour the air conditioner was running and the house was cooling down. Before he did any work, Mark explained the problem, exactly what he was going to do, and the cost of labor and parts. He also indicated a long term solution for the AC's problem, but respected the fact that I just needed it to work now. He then examined the dryer and within 15 minutes found out which part needed to be replaced. He retrieved the part, came back the next day and installed it. The dryer works perfectly. I would not go to anyone else for any of my small or large appliance repair needs. His business phone number is saved on my phone and I would recommend him to all my friends.

Originally called to have AC repaired. Mark did some troubleshooting on my AC and showed me and explained everything he was looking at, he also said how much it would cost before replaced anything. Since he could not repair it he did not charge me for any parts that he used in attempting to repair it. When It was determined that the compressor needed I replacing he suggested getting a second opion. I had Mark replace my AC unit and he finished the work ahead of schedule. The AC unit has been in service at my house now for a year with no problems

Mark arrived on time. He listened to what was wrong with the air conditioner and went to the attic to investigate. He showed me the problems with a capacitor and the circuit board of the fan motor which needed replacement. Mark let me know the prices of replacement and immediately went and purchased the items once he had my OK. All of the work was quoted upfront. After Mark fixed the AC, he cleaned and serviced our two units. Mark made some helpful suggestions.
