Description of Work: I only got a quote from Tony. It was high in my opinion. $360 to do a first time clean up and $150/month contract thereafter. I have a very small yard with two live oaks. I asked to have bi-monthly service and he said no. He has been very busy since getting a lot of work through Angie's List. I cannot attest to his quality or timeliness.

Description of Work: Todd arrived at our appointed time, spent almost 2 hours and fixed the problem - a sprinkler leak that had been caused by the insertion of a new mailbox. We thought it was going to be a minor, but turned out to be a little more complicated, as the tubing had been placed in the cement by the mailbox insertion so he first had to get the tubine out from under that. He was very competent, and I watched him the entire time - he didn't seem to mind that at all. He was quick, professional and nice as well - My service was performed at the end of a long day for him and I could not have been more pleased. I will definitely call upon him again in the future.

+ -1 moreTodd and his crew were professional and did everything we asked and then some. They worked all day pulling and removing overgrown Holly shrubs and trimming several other trees. They removed all yard debris as well. As far as I'm concerned they met my expectations and beyond. The yard looks so much better now, I wish I had taken before and after pics.
Description of Work: My yard had overgrown shrubbery, Holly bushes; which would have been almost impossible to remove or trim ourselves. We also had neglected several Ligustrum and Crepe Myrtles that needed to be trimmed. Our yard was a mess and required a lot of work! I decided to contact Gardens and Grounds because of the positive reviews posted on Angies List.

+ 0 moreWe had a little difficulty at first connecting but after we did Mr. Gianfala was positive and professional in laying out what they could do and what they would charge for those services allowing me to select the level of service that was meaningful for me. He was prompt in getting out for the first visit and his crew did all they indicated they would plus they cleaned up some yard debris that had been left behind by storms. I have signed an ongoing contract with them to continue the service indefinitely.
Description of Work: Contracted with them for bi-weekly yard service including weeding of beds. The did exactly as discussed plus a little extra I wasn't expecting. The yard was left looking really good. I contracted to have them weed the front beds. They do this in 2 stages, defoliant on some of the tougher weeds to kill them back, then come in the next trip and remove the weeds.

+ 0 moreOur yard was left unattended all summer as our house is under repairs and my husband and I were both working out-of-state for the summer. There were weeds taller than I am and places in the yard that were not walkable at all. I called Todd. He was friendly, helpful, and able to meet me at the house and give me an estimate within the hour. He believed it would take him a week to get to it, he got to it the next day. the yard looks great and our neighbors no longer hate us. :) Todd refused up front payment and would not accept payment until I had seen and inspected the work. He then came and picked the check up from me. I am not really qualified to evaluate the price because I do not know what the going rates are. I do know that it was a huge mess and now it looks great!
Description of Work: Three months growth of grass and weeds cut. Branches hauled out of the way. Construction trash picked up and/or worked around. Flower beds weeded, some bushes pruned. Work done in front and back yard of equal quality!

Description of Work: He cuts my grass, trims the hedges and weeds the flower beds. In the winter, he picks odd jobs I have on a list I made. He has a degree in horticulture and knows his business!
