Just fine. They were fast and efficient and knew what they were doing.

Garage door gave out and we called DoorTech to come take a look. Technician was able to dianose my problem based solely on the over-the-phone description and gave me an estimate on repairs as well as a scheduled repair date. Not only did the technician show up a day earlier than previously scheduled, he was able to fix everything while I was away from the house, for less than was originally quoted to me. 100% positive experience.

Replaced a rotten section of door, rather than trying to up-sale me on replacing the whole door. Work was fast and as promised.

I was very pleased w this company. They were pleasant on the phone. Brad tried to fix the existing garage door opener, and subsequently replaced it with a new one. He was VERY patient w/ all of my questions, was timely for the appointments, and was efficient in the installation. Brad deserves an A+. I am not sure if the price was the best, BUT, since they were well rated w/ Angie's list I decided to use them without further investigation. Overall, a very pleasant experience!

I had a contractor who was doing other work at my house look at my automatic garage door opener to see if he could fix it. He told me the bottom gear was sheared off and he didn't think it could be fixed but he recommended I call a garage door repairman. I got on Angie's List and after reading DoorTech's reviews I decided to give them a call. I spoke with someone on the phone and told them about the gear being sheared off and that they should bring a new system just in case they couldnt fix mine. He told me that in the model that I have, there are parts that have to be replaced every 8-10 years (Mine is 9 years old) and it should be fine. He told me they could probably fix it and then I could call them again in another 8-10 years when it needed servicing again. They set up the appointment and told me I didn't have to be home but to just leave my garage door open and when they finished it they would close the garage door. When I got home everything worked perfectly and I haven't had any more issues with my garage door. They sent me an invoice in the mail and I just sent them a check. Everything was so easy!

we called them after finding them on Angie's list. they said they could come out and fix it. they told us to loeave the garage door unlocked they called us with the price. they were able to handle the job while we weren't home. THAT IS EXCELLENT SERVICE

20 year old overhead door just reached the end of it's life. They repaired the sprint replaced the rollers, and repaired the track. Promptly, courteously, competently. DON"T do not ever fool with an overhead door spring. They release a huge amount of instant, dangerous energy. The attached wires will whip around, cut off fingers, gash throats. HIRE a professional. There are lock holes that enable the door to be controlled. However, they are hidden, not intuitive, and if you put a poorly shaped or thin nail in the hole, it can be deadly. HIRE a professional.

The price was good. The service was good. I'm very satisfied with my new garage door opener system.

After initial call to service, I was called back to schedule the visit. Technician arrived early. I was not there; no one was there but technician was working when I arrived. Problem fixed in 45 minutes. I was informed that a bill would be sent to me. I would have preferred to be told by the technician what the charge would be. I was not told in advance what the charge was for a service call.

The guy showed up on time and actually charged me a little less than the quoted price. However, we have 2 SUVs and the detectors that keep the door from shutting when an obstacle is placed in the way of the garage door was placed too low and does not detect when either of our cars is parked where the garage door will come down on it. The guy installed it about 6 in lower than the previous set of detectors. In spite of this, the mechanism detects when the garage door is being lowered onto an object and the 1st time that the garage door came down on one of our SUVs, it stopped immediately upon contact and did no damage.

I have seven spring loaded doors. The4y have mkaintained and repaired them for me over the last 5-6 years. That included major overhauls.

The work was okay. The guy who replaced the garage door wanted to charge me another $400 when I called him to fix a part of the door. He then didn?t charge me that extra $400 when I told him that I got the name of his company online through another company. I want to use his services again if I need to. However, he did a good job.

He came and did an excellent job. He came on time but I don't remember the month he came.

We were very pleased with them. I have home warranty, and so I paid $50 deductible. They had a lot of business and we had to wait a while but they did move it up a little for us. The man that came out here was excellent. He was very respectful and nice, and he cleaned up any mess he made. He was very quick to find the problem and to repair it. He just did a super job. As a matter of fact, I called his company and told them that they have to give him a raise. I told them that he was really doing a good job, and if I were to have more problems, I would like to have him come out. It was a very good experience with that. I would rate them highly and would use them in the future, if necessary.

Door had same problem March 2009. Recalled to fix problem again.

The day the work was scheduled the service tech called and asked if he could come an hour or so earlier. We were very happy to say yes. He arrived at the agreed time and went right to work. He was very professional and seemed to know exactly what he was doing with no hesitation. He found the problem and had it repaired in about 35 minutes. I was expecting that I would need a new motor and was happy that it was only a worn gear. I was suprised at how quickly he had it fixed and working like new. The service tech's name was Kevin and he was very nice( the kind of person you like to come to your home for service work). If I have garage door problems again I will ask for Kevin. We have a home owners policy so we only paid $50.00 deductible.
