Description of Work: My garage door broke. I have a home warranty, and I called them to file a claim. The company they sent, M&G Mechanical, sent a representative who took four days after viewing the door to determine that his company couldn't fix it. After requesting a list from Angie's List, I called Doortech, who sent a repairman the next day. He repaired it in less than 40 minutes.

Description of Work: They replaced the garage door and the garage door opener. They did what they said they were going to do for the price they quoted. They accommodated my schedule. They were a pleasure to work with.

Description of Work: replaced circuit board on garage door opener. we had a home warranty company who told us they would have a different company call me to arrange an appointment. 2 hours later and no call from that company I chose to call someone myself. it was cold outside and I didn't want to open and close the garage door manually until the home warranty company could arrange to have someone even call me. I called Doortech and they came out that morning and fixed the problem promptly. I would definitely use them again. If I remembered the name of the other company our home warranty wanted to send I would give them a bad grade for not even calling to set an appointment. I had to call them after 2 hours and they still could not tell me when someone would come

Description of Work: I had tried contacting several garage door companies to get an estimate to replace our current damaged garage door. A-1 had originally installed our door. I called them 3 times and they did not call me back. I looked at the great reviews on Angie's List and called Door Tech. Jeff Howard emailed me back the same afternoon. We connected via phone to set an appointment. He showed up promptly. I really enjoyed meeting him and he was very knowledgable. He sent me an estimate by the end of the day as promised. He did not try to up sell me and set expectations. The garage door will take 3 weeks to order. This is perfect so I can totally clean out the garage. His price was below other estimates and other up-sells. Jeff came across very professional, honest and knowledgable. I will let you know about the installation process and quality.

Description of Work: Initially Doortech replaced the double door driver but soon after ( 2 months ) a door spring broke and I agreed with Doortech that the whole door should be replaced. They did this treating the recently replaced driver as essentially a new component. Installation efficientky executed and while on site they also checked and adjusted another garage door I had - at no extra charge | |A pleasure to do business with

Description of Work: One of the springs on my garage overhead door broke. I called on Friday and they scheduled for Monday. Their technician called Monday morning to set a time. He arrived on time and finished replacing both springs in under 30 minutes. He answered all my questions about how to maintain the door. Excellent experience. I will use the again.

Description of Work: They replaced the coil spring on my garage door. The tech who came out (I forgot his name) was professional, prompt, and friendly. He had everything he needed in his van, was in and out in less than an hour, and garage is working great now.
