I had them scheduled for 9am on a Monday morning. I learned on the prior Friday morning that the closing on my house moved up to 10am. However, it wasn't until Saturday evening before I realized that I hadn't called the movers to inform them to be at my house by 7:30am instead of the scheduled 9am to accomodate the new closing time. So I called their office at 6pm on Saturday and someone actually answered the phone. I requested him to send the guys at 7:30am instead of 9am and he said they normally don't get started before 8am but they would do their best to be there at 7:30am. On Monday morning, the guys were there at 7:30am, they loaded the truck very quickly without any damage and unloaded the same. The 3 guys who were there to move were very friendly and it was obvious they wanted to do a good job.

Our experience with them was excellent. They were on time, very courteous and very friendly. The only down side was they didn’t come in advance to scope the project. So they kind of ran out of packing materials because we had an unusual amount of pictures and stuff. Nothing was broken and everything was handled very professionally. They were good to work with. We didn’t have anything to compare their price to.

They work on an hourly rate and all of the workers were like the Ever-Ready bunnies....they just kept going and going. I was exhausted by the end of the two days, but they always kept a great attitude and worked to get our things transitioned as quickly as possible. A couple of things were dropped off the of the dollies, but luckily the items were still intact when they arrived at the home. This is a good company.

It was awesome. They were very nice and seemed to genuinely care about my things. Everything was wrapped properly and handled with care.

They arrived one hour late and not prepaired. I had to buy them rope and blankets which was not part of the original agreement. Moreover, they turned what should have been a half day move into a whole day affair due to poor stacking and constant breaks.

We had used Tony once before when my daughter first moved to New Orleans and felt that they were very reasonable for the work they did in unloading her furniture at that move. That is why we called them again for this move. They arranged to come a bit later, after 5, since my daughter called them to say that she was running late in arriving. They loaded up the bedroom and other items from her previous apartment into her U-Haul truck with her additional furniture from here in Charlotte, and met her at the new apartment. They unloaded all the furniture and carried it up to the 3rd floor in mid-June. In addition, they hauled off a large couch left by the previous tenant which the landlord was supposed to remove and hadn't, and didn't charge extra for that. On both occasions we used Tony and his crew, they were prompt and professional, with no damage to anything, and pleasant and helpful to my daughter. We feel they are very reasonable and would use them again.

It started out with a call from the movers saying they would be 45 minutes late as they could not get the truck they needed from U-Haul. When they finally arrived, the 3 men introduced themselves and were generally hard workers and polite. They assured me that they would put blankets over all my furniture once it was in the truck so that nothing would get scratched because that was my biggest concern. I did see them put blankets over the furniture but it must not have been enough because more than a few pieces of my furniture got nicked or scratched. It could have been because the furniture was not packed in the truck correctly and shifted when the truck was moving. The men had to borrow tools from me to dismantle/reassemble the beds, which I thought was unprofessional. One of the men asked if he could have something to eat when he saw I had food in the kitchen. Another thing that bothered me was that when it was time for a lunch break, the 3 men went to lunch in the loaded truck since none of them had brought his own car. That was extra jostling around for my furniture. I have never seen that happen before...where movers go to lunch in the actual moving van! I was also disappointed that Nick Marquette (the owner) did not come out to the job site at all after he told me he would be there. It turns out he wasn't even in town the day of my move. Before that, I was fairly impressed by how quickly Nick had returned my calls. I believe his men could have used some direction from him during the move. They seemed to be left on their own and were not quite qualified to handle a move the size of mine.

They were amazing. From my initial phone call to set it up to the very last minute saying good-bye, it was nothing but perfect. I needed to move rather quickly and the office worked it out for me. The crew that was sent was prompt, polite, hardworking, careful and pleasant to be around. They had to wrap many pieces of furniture and walk it down a difficult flight of stairs and then move everthing into my storage unit. We made two stops in themeantime to drop off certain furniture pieces which they did with ease and great service. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Every aspect of their service was excellent. The owner was helpful in setting things up and following up with me.

Called Abba movers on July 5 for moving on July 6, they were the only ones that answered the phone after calling numerous other moving company's. Which I am glad they did. They arrived early at the schedule time. Both guys were careful with some of the hard to move furniture and were very experienced. Would definitely use them again.

Good people here. The owner is very courteous and helpful. All initial contact was answered immediately and we were able to promptly schedule service. The day of the move, he was 30 minutes late but called to let me know he was running late. They worked quickly and efficiently. They did break my tv base (just the unit that allows it to stand up) but he reimbursed me the full amount. Having moving experience, I was not crazy about them not wrapping the furniture in blankets before the took it out of the apartment. They wrapped them in the trailer. When I wanted them to do that, he justified it by why he does it and continued to do it that way. While they were careful and nothing else was damaged while moving, this is a system that begs for an accident. I tried to outline all of the reservations I had here but overall, I would certainly use them again. Their price beat out everyone by hundreds of dollars and they do good work. They were also nice people which made the full day I spent with them enjoyable. I would definitely recommend them.

The owner was very easy to work with and kept his word on all services and promises. The moving crew knew they were running a few minutes late and called me to let me know. They arrived and went right to work after I showed them all of the items I wanted them to move. The crew was very professional and polite. I was so pleased with their work I tipped each crew member. I will call Abba the next time I need movers. I highly recommend Abba to anyone needing a good reliable mover.

My son was moving from Baton Rouge and selected this company to help in that he was on the 3rd floor of complex. He had already arranged for a U Haul truck scheduled for moving date. We where concerned with weather approaching time scheduled for move. When these two men arrived, I was very impressed with courtesy, professionalism and care for belongings. They where aware of approaching weather and did not take a break during move. Great care was taken moving everything down stairs ( no elevator) and I was impressed with how the truck was loaded. It was a work of art, no shifting during transient and no damage. To my dismay, all loaded before weather arrived. These people will do their best to accommodate all loading and unloading aspects. We will definitely use them again.

It went well. There was some damage, but nothing that was not totally understandable and completely natural in a move. They were very careful and very capable of moving things even up and down the stairs in the home.

Very good experience and excellent price. Moving crew was on time and professional. They ran into an issue with one very large piece of furniture but figured out how to make it fit up a flight of stairs all while protecting it from getting damaged. This is the second time I have used this moving company and will continue to use them if needed. I have in the past used other movers and every time had a bad experience in at least some way. I can say these guys are really great. Fast, inexpensive, professional and they take care of your items. Zero issues. A+++

Abba Movers is a superb moving company that I would highly recommend. Their expertise and knowledge of the industry provided a smooth transition for the move. They use up-to-date equipment and very knowledgeable about moving antiquities. Very satisfied and reasonably priced.

The move was totally flawless and stress free. Thank God for these guys, they are truly life savers.

They're pretty average. They didn't do that great of a job. The workers were good loading our truck but they were slower when they unloaded the stuff into our house. They were reluctant to go up the ladder to put some things in our storage area. They got lost and showed up late.
