Professional, courteous, and did a good job. I keep using them.

They came and gave us an estimate, included that if we purchased a new furnace through them they would subtract the $150 weekend service charge payment from the total cost of the new furnace. They were prompt and on time with both visits (estimate and replacement), they gave us all price options that they offered and reminded us of the tax credit for replacing our unit with an energy efficient model. They came did their job, cleaned up throughly afterwards and we could not have been more pleased with their service. It was 98 degrees outside on that day and 110 in the house....needless to say it was hot! We kept asking if they needed something to drink or a fan and they declined both saying thank you. We have since had them back out to look at the new unit due to some funky noises it was making, they were prompt and more than professional again! I could not be happier with the whole process!!!! For the price and excellent work, I would recommend them to anyone needing ANY heating and air conditioning work.

ARC Electric is the only company that I have used for this and they are excellent. They came out the night before thanksgiving around 8:00 PM to fix my furnace because I was hosting people Thanksgiving day. They are very very good, straight-shooting people.

Overall, we were generally very satisfied. The prices seemed a bit high in comparison to other electric companies I have used in the area, but the technician appeared very knowledgable and thorough. One of the people answering the phone at the office, however, is hard to talk to - the person speaks constantly and does not allow the caller to get a word in, even when trying to ask a question.

They came and did the initial wiring in June or July of this year. I then had to wait as there were all these other things that needed to be done. They are here now finishing the work. They were a reputable company who stood behind their work.

Arc's price was too high but everything else went over well. I think they really know what they are doing and they are good electricians.

They tried to help us fix it, but it ended up being beyond repair. They gave us various options given the fact that we could get some rebates through the end of this year. We ended up deciding to buy a whole new furnace, air conditioning unit, and air cleaner. The quality of their work was very good. They were very quick and cleaned up everything perfectly. They didn’t leave any mess. Everything has been working perfectly so far. They were also very good about providing information and being available for questions. Their customer service was very good. We were very pleased with their service.

Our air conditioning stopped over the weekend, and after cleaning out the filters inside the home and outside, we still couldn't get it to blow cold air. When we called they said they would have a tech out here this afternoon. Then they called about a half hour later and said they had a tech out near us and he would be able to come right then. The tech that came out was fast, professional and knew what he was doing. He found the problem right away and replaced our capacitor and then made sure to check everything else to make sure that it was done. When warned of our affection loving shih tzus, he just smiled and said he was ok with em and not to worry. We will go with these guys for sure if we have another problem.

They are very responsive and cool. They come whenever there is an emergency with no regards to the time.

They are a really good, family owned company and have alaways done first rate work for us. One year the owners' son was at my house the night before Thanksgiving fixing my furnace. I had guests in town and we were just about to move to another home for the Thanksgiving meal, but they got us up and in working order. Whatever the repair was they were able to take care of it rather quickly. They have been really great to us and run a great company. I will absolutely continue to use them.

The work is good but the prices are too high.

I was very impressed with the installers. They were very conscientious. They kept me informed every step of the way and they were willing to answer all my questions. They didn't come out to quickly throw in the units and leave. They were here to do the job right and if that meant taking a little longer than normal, well so be it. I can't say enough about them, they were outstanding.

Because my furnace was 40 years old, I made the decision to not spend alot of money on a new blower motor and instead had Arc install a new furnace. Tom was great explaining the different options. It was certainly not something I had in my budget right now, but it was the right decision. Chris and Ryan came out on a day it was supposed to have a major storm later in the day, and stayed until 10:00 pm getting the heat back in our home. They worked very hard and constantly kept us up-to-date on where they were. They left just as it began to sleet. Chris then came back a couple days later (after the ice/snow storm) to finish the job, but we had heat all along. Tom was great in keeping us informed and answering questions. Arc was very responsive, professional, and did what they said they would do. They cleaned up after everything they did and left the utility room in great shape. And our house is warm.

We called and told the person who turned out to be the Vice President, Anthony Manning, the concern we had and that a light coming from the junction box was not working but every thing else was. We knew the wire was pretty old and had a concern that we may need to re-wire the house. He came out and gave us an estimate assuring us the wiring was old but did not need replacing. The technician who came the next day to do the work arrived on time and did a great job even hooking back up our light and making sure it worked. He cleaned up afterward. I have no complaints at all.

After I called they had the work done within the week. Very professional and a very good job. I also called them months later for a part. They didn't have the part in stock but told me a company that would probably have it. Tom also asked a few questions and gave advice to make sure I was getting the part I needed.

Took a whole week to get here. Took another couple weeks after the part was ordered for them to return. When they did the welding, they burnt a hole in our vinyl flooring. He said he would fix it and I said no because he had already trampled my floors. I asked for that tech to not come back out but they sent him any ways.

They were here on time and did a good job. We always use them for our electrical and HVAC work and have for years.

Last year Arc Electric gave us an estimate on a circuit breaker board and other electrical work. We accepted the estimate and made an appointment for the work which they said would take them one day. The day before they were due to come, they called and said they were too busy with other customers, and they would have to reschedule and the work would take two days. The extra day was needed because they couldn't spare enough employees to get the work done in a day. I had already scheduled a vacation day and was not happy. My husband told them to just forget it and we would hire someone else. They told us we had a contract with them and couldn't break it. We never heard from them again. Not one phone call to see if we wanted to reschedule. That was over a year ago, and we just now had the work done through Cooper Electric. They were terrific.

Arc has done a lot of work for us, and I would hire them again. But the price seemed steep for such a quick, simple job. It took the technician no more than half an hour. The technician seems knowledgeable, but his level of courtesy was only adequate. He was not rude but not trying to be polite either. I felt like I was bothering him by asking him a question.

WE HAVE HIRED ARC PREVIOUSLY TO DO A LOT OF WORK TO UPDATE THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM IN OUR OLD HOUSE. THEY DO GOOD WORK FOR REASONABLE PRICES. THEIR ELECTRICIANS ARE USUALLY PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY. WE DID EXPERIENCE TWO FRUSTRATIONS THIS TIME. FIRST, THEY ARRIVED MUCH EARLIER THAN EXPECTED (ABOUT THREE HOURS EARLY), WHICH CAUSED SOME INCONVENIENCE. SECOND, THE PARTICULAR ELECTRICIAN WHO CAME WAS NOT AS GOOD AS OTHERS AT EXPLAINING WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE. I COULDN'T UNDERSTAND HIM, AND ALTHOUGH HE WAS NOT RUDE, HE SEEMED TO GET IMPATIENT. IT'S IMPORTANT FOR AN ELECTRICIAN TO BE ABLE TO DESCRIBE A PROBLEM AND SPELL OUT THE SOLUTIONS CLEARLY. I THINK THE WORK THEY DID WAS SATISFACTORY, BUT THE NEW BREAKER HAS TRIPPED ONCE, SO I'M NOT YET SURE (OF COURSE, ALL BREAKERS CAN TRIP, SO IT MIGHT NOT BE A PROBLEM). OVERALL, THOUGH, ARC HAS DONE GOOD WORK FOR US, THEIR ELECTRICIANS ARE FRIENDLY AND KNOWLEDGEABLE, AND THEIR RATES ARE REASONABLE. WE WILL DEFINITELY HIRE THEM IN THE FUTURE.

REPRESENTATIVE WAS ON TIME AND EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL. EXPLAINED WHEN I HAD QUESTIONS AND DIDN'T MAKE ME FEEL LIKE I KNEW NOTHING! I HAVE ELECTED NOT TO GET THE WORK DONE AT THIS TIME, BUT I WOULD DEFINITELY HIRE THEM. THEY SENT A FOLLOW UP DETAILED REPORT AND ESTIMATE, WHICH WAS WELL WITHIN WHAT I EXPECTED.

THE ARC MAN ON CALL TOLD ME TO CALL CINERGY FIRST TO HELP ME AVOID DOUBLE TIME WAGES. CINERGY WAS GREAT, GOT ME HEAT AND SOME ELECTRICITY, BUT INFORMED ME OF ALL THE ELECTRICAL WORK I NEEDED DONE. KNOWING THIS, I AGAIN CALLED ARC, ON SUNDAY EVENING, AND SPOKE TO THE SAME VERY HELPFUL MAN. HE GOT ME SET UP FOR FIRST THING MONDAY A.M. THEY CALLED FIRST, TOLD ME SOMEONE WOULD BE THERE WITHIN 30 MINUTES, AND BILL CAME. HE GOT EVERYTHING ROLLING AND THE 5 AND 1/2 HOUR JOB WAS UNDERWAY. REPLACED SEC CABLE; NEW EXPANDED ELECTRICAL PANEL; MOVED METER TO OUTSIDE. THEY ALSO DISCOVERED A GAS LEAK IN MY BASEMENT THAT I WAS UNAWARE OF AND ADVISED ME TO CALL CINERGY ASAP! GOOD THING THAT THEY HAD BEEN TO MY HOUSE. I INDEED HAD A LEAK THAT RESULTED IN SEVERAL HOURS OF WORK BY CINERGY! WORKMEN WERE CONSIDERATE AND GOOD COMMUNICATORS.

WE HAD TWO OTHER COMPANIES THAT COULD NOT FIGURE OUT THE PROBLEM. HE WENT INTO THE BASEMENT CAME UP WITHIN AN HOUR AND KNEW WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS. I FELT THE PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE FOR THE WORK DONE. ACTUALLY ON THE LOW SIDE FOR THE AMOUNT OF TIME HE SPENT HERE, WHICH WAS ABOUT FIVE HOURS.
