Bid was about half for a well known brand of what another company wanted for an off brand with bad reviews. Tom was able to jump start our dying system twice while we were waiting for our loan to be approved. Crew arrived on time, and were very courteous. They thoroughly explained the new system and what we needed to do to keep it running. Didn't balk at all when we asked them to install a thermostat that we purchased.

ARC was great! The owner or co- owner came out to give us an estimate for a new unit upon our request and explained what they we be doing and also pointed out some errors in the neighboring units at out condo. They also said they could do it the next day which was great. Their quote was slightly lower than anyone else's but that is not why I chose them. They seemed to have very good customer service. The installers were wonderful. They were very respectful and cleaned up the area and worked nonstop. I would definitely call ARC again.

I really felt bad calling Arc Electric on a Holiday but we tried everything within our knowledge to get our furnace going. Our furnace went out New Years Eve but I waited and I called Arc on New Years Day morning and they were out by noon to fix out furnace. I thought they would charge an arm and a leg(and I wouldn't blame them) since Dave had to work on his day off. Dave found the issue immediately and had to replace a part that he had available. I have been using Arc Electric since 1998. Originally I used them only for electric. I just realized a few years ago that they were heating and cooling as well. Now i used them for all 3 services. They are always very fair on their prices. They are fast and professional. Thanks Dave and Arc Electric.

Arc's price was very good and they were always prompt with calls and emails. The work was completed in one day by 2 electricians even though it was a pretty big job to move the meter box and install an entirely new breaker box. Inspection passed with no problem. The only problem I had was gmail put their quote in my junk mail folder.

I use Arc Electric anytime I have an issue with my furnace and/or A/C. And I will always call for any future issues. They are professional, prompt, reasonably priced, and willing to explain issues and answer questions. Not much more to say than that.

I called on a Friday to have someone come out and do a walkthru on a home I am purchasing. I was hoping they could make it to an appointment I had already scheduled with another contractor for the next day, Saturday. They were able to accommodate to my request and I was very pleased with the professionalism of the gentlemen sent out, I was also thrilled that they were able to accommodate to my tight scheduling request. They give free estimates and I was grateful for that. The gentlemen was at the house for over an hour and did a wonderful job pointing things out to me that I had not noticed (for it being a free call, not many people would have stayed that long, but he was certain to be thorough). I will certainly be calling him back once the house is mine to take care of some odds and ends.

Bill was on time and surveyed the work. He obtained the needed tools and started. He accessed our attic to re-work the wiring to accommodate a new dual switch (to allow us to have the fan or light or both on at any time). Bill was patient and focused on the task, but was personable. After accessing the attic 3 times, persevering to feed the new line in the wall instead of through the bathroom linen closet (as the previous owner had done), a new switch was installed and voila! the job was complete. We are very pleased with the work.

It was especially helpful that they retracted condensation from one drain to another and the work went well. They will be cleaning my furnace and replacing filters on they next appointment.

Technician was initally negative in how he spoke to customer & the company did not call me back when the part came in stick as was promised. I had to follow up. Upon return the same tech was pleasant.

100% Satisfied! They arrived when they said they would and completed the work in a reasonable amount of time and now my heat pump shuts off as it should without running 24 hours a day for the past year. I should have called them sooner!

I called ARC because my furnace was not working properly and I could not figure out the cause of it myself. They were pleasant on the phone and offered to have a technician in the area come out in just a few hours. The technician (Mike) was very friendly and professional. He explained the exact issue I was having and had the part in his truck to fix it right then and there. He noticed a possible upcoming issue on my blower and offered advise for future service possibilities but was not pushy at all. The price was fair in my opinion and my issue was gone within just a couple hours of my phone call. Great service and I will use them again.

I was concerned about not having enough power for all the electrical appliances and computers. My house is older and only had 100 amps. I decided to upgrade to 200 amps. They came and looked it all over within only days of my phone call. I had an estimate in the mail within a week and was able to accept the bid and book the service within another week. The two men who came to do the work were great about addressing all my concerns and helping me understand how the new box would work. Two weeks later I had an issue with the converter for the door bell causing a buzzing. The same day I called someone was here and replaced the converter. I have used Arc in the past and have always has this level of service. I think they do a great job.

The installation was incredible, no issues, very professional and the guy's would take the time to answer all my questions. The installation took a little over a full day and we had A/C again. We did have an issue the next day with the blower motor that was not related to the installation. Our existing HVAC vendor confirmed that this was an existing condition unrelated to the installation.We did have to replace a few components on our existing heater and chose ARC because their price was about $600 less than our existing HVAC vendor.Here are the key items: They work well with older, quirky houses (we have a 100+ year old Farm house) The price was competitive. They are good about explaining what they are doing and why. Last word of advice on central HVAC systems. It really pays to take a few hours and research the basic components of your HVAC system and what they do before getting a quote.
