We employ an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) approach in each setting to determine the most effective and safest combination of methods and products to manage a particular pest problem. We discovered racoons living at the bottom of the chimney/flue. With racoons come fleas. The chimney and basement were infested with fleas and they had started to invade the rest of the house. He clearly instructed me on preparations for the treatment and sprayed the house in about 20-30 minutes. The fleas are gone.

Great. He was professional, on time, and did more than I expected him to, taking care of problems he found and not just the ones I asked him to do. I am seeing lots of dead spiders and the spiderwebs are gone.
Description of Work: Bill treated for spiders all around the house, inside and out, in addition to finding an ant colony at the front of our house and treating it. He also treated two wasp nests.

Description of Work: Folks came when promised, diagnosed the problem, recommended various resolution options. They made very sure we understood the options and knew what we were deciding on. Never did we feel pressured or baffled by them. For extra assurance, we let another company evaluate the situation. They investigate not as properly and their solutions were more expensive than Perfection's

It's the beginning of spring and we noticed some pavement ants in the kitchen on saturday morning. I looked on the list and saw that Richter's pest control had hrs.on saturday. I called and left a message, Bill called me back about 1 hr. later. I made an appointment for the next day between 2:30 and 3:00 PM. The next day Bill called at 2:30 and said, he'd be here in 10 min. He was here in 10 min. He treated the basement, garage,kitchen,bathrooms. And on the outside he treated the perimeter of the foundation and around some trees and bushes. I found him very knowledgable, professional and patient with my questions. I haven't seen any ants since. Due to the high caliper of Mr. Richter I will definately recommend and use his services again.

It was very easy to get a hold of them. They set up an appointment and came when they said they would, which was very nice. All the people that I spoke to were very nice. They did a very good job and I was pleased.
Description of Work: They set traps for mice, checked for squirrels in the attic and sealed up all the areas where they were getting in. He also cleaned out and sprayed the soffit where birds had gotten in.

Came out to our house in a couple days and treated our chimney that was infested with the ants and he also treated the base of the home. He was very knowledgeable in what he does. He answered all questions without getting frustrated. He was in no hurry to leave until we were satisfied with the work.

Very well. He came and inspected the wood shavings from a baseboard that I had noticed after I lifted the carpet. I thought it might be termites but he told me that it was acrobat ants and that if I solve the moisture problem, the ant problem would be solved. He checked on the outside of the house also in the same area to be sure. He also gave me advice on painting the wood fence to prevent carpenter bees. He is very nice and seems to know what he is talking about. He took some time to inspect the area and did not charge me anything for the inspection.

We opted to use the home buyer's exterminator, since they were 10% cheaper. I would have chosen Dan's company if it were my house as I felt he would have done a better job.
Description of Work: In order to sell my mother's house, the buyer's required termite treatment of the house. Dan came and gave an estimate the same day I called after examining the house inside and out. And he did not charge me for his estimate and was very knowledgeable and professional.

Tim showed up on time, was very personable and professional and answered every dumb question I had. He gave me information on their other services when I asked about them and left his business card and told me to call if I had any more problems with the ants. I will definitely call this company again.
Description of Work: I called the company when I had DOZENS of flying ants in my living room every evening after dark. I called on a Saturday afternoon and made the appt. for Monday afternoon. Tim was on time and even a little early. He identified the ants I had collected for him and explained their habits. He let me know they were not harmful to good wood and said their swarming would probably not last over a week. He checked both inside and outside for the ants and decided they were probably living up in my old, leaky steel gutters. He explained these ants like wet areas so the dirty, crap filled gutter was just their kind of place. I explained I was already replacing the gutters and fascia boards in late summer. He recommended I up that replacement date if possible and that would rid me of the ants. He did not recommend spraying since I was replacing the gutters anyway, but said he would if I wanted it. Of course I said no! Other than the inspection, there was no needed work to do.

Dan was wonderful. He explained everything he was doing, what he was using, and what to expect. He reassured me that it would be safe for my infant and young child, and that he'd treat his own house and his grand children's houses the same way. He told me it would take a week to kill off the colony under the front stoop with the bait, but I have to say it was the next day I saw nothing but ant bodies. I have seen nothing alive since, and I am thrilled.

We moved to a new house so we had new bug problems. Tim knows his stuff. He told us why and when these bugs would be a problem. He was able to treat the insects outside without bringing chemicals into the house. He did not recommend over spraying or other environmentally destructive solutions.

Dan, the technician, was on time and very polite. He was very knowledgeable and competent and very careful about our home, furnishings and landscaping. Also, Dan's great with dogs! The pricing was very reasonable and we would very definitely use them again! I would highly recommend them!
Description of Work: We discovered that we had an ant colony living in an exterior wall of our home. Dan, the Perfection Pest Control technician, analyzed our ant problem, including looking under base boards and searching the foundation to find their entry point, etc. and then drew up a proposed plan of treatment and price, on the spot. He treated two window areas and the entire foundation. The treatment has worked beautifully and we have no more evidence of the ant colony.

Tim Leatherman was very, very knowledgeable, thorough, very polite, honest and he was on time. We had another termite inspector for the same property and he found no previous treatment anywhere. Tim very promptly found that the property had been treated for termites (even though it had been done possibly 30 years prior). He looked at places and observed things that the other inspector did not. He answered all of our questions with no hesitation. We were so very impressed with him and would highly recommend him to anyone. Even before we hired him, he was willing to answer all of our interview questions. The price of the inspection was well worth the cost.
