The company representative showed up at the house and did a survey. He shared pictures of locations he felt were problematic. He recommended replacing the 15 year old garage door strips as there was evidence that mice had gnawed their way through. He said he would replace the strips with a rodent proof design strip and since my doors were old he would also have to replace a metal track so the rodent free type would fit. He gave me what I thought was a high estimate and he explained that the labor on the garage doors and supplies would be $1500.00. The remainder of his work(setting traps, etc. was $1000.00. I asked that he itemized the work and he said he couldn't do it. I agreed nonetheless with the promise that he could get the job done in one half day and he would provide itemization and follow up to go over what they did. He called and said all the parts had arrived and we were ready to go. We set a date. At the time of his visit to create an estimate, I offered to leave a deposit. He stated that I would be billed after the work was done to my satisfaction. After we agreed on the date to do the project, I arranged access into the house as I was unable to be there. In the week leading up to the work date he texted me multiple times about leaving a check or giving them my credit card number as they wanted to be paid on the day of the work. Although I found that contradictory, with his assurance of returning the day after job completion to go over this, I left a check in the full amount. Then the misrepresentations began to escalate. He called me and texted me late in the morning they were to complete the work. They were not able to even complete the work unrelated to the garage doors in the time they were there which, I remind you, was over have the cost of my estimate. He failed to bring the correct size devices he had promised and said he would have to return. More importantly, he said that the firm that he ordered the garage door supplies from could not deliver them that day because my doors were obsolete. He said he could order the garage door supplies from another source. At this time I asked him very obvious questions--such as, "why wasn't this researched prior to the installation day". He couldn't answer but interestingly he said that the new supplies were less expensive and required a lot less time to install. As a result of this new information, I asked him the difference in material costs and labor and they were both significantly less. I asked him to give me a new estimate. He called his boss and they said it would cost the same. At this point I told the worker to wait to hear from me as I was going to get a new estimate for the garage doors. I told him not to take the check I had left him and to meet me in a few days to go over the work already accomplished and I would pay him for that if completed. He did not take my check as requested. He was very evasive of setting up a follow up but continued to call and text about the money owed for the work they allegedly did. After multiple annoying texts I asked him to meet and the day was not convenient for him. I asked what day worked for him and he did not respond for 6 days. In that text he again emphasized that I needed to send my money and since there was no guarantee he'd show up I did not. Nonetheless, I told him either of the 2 days he had free were fine with me. I then told him that the rodent free floor drain they had placed had holes that were too small. As a result the condensation that dripped from the pvc pipe into their drain turned into a minor flood in my basement. His next text said that his boss did not want to do any more work for me and that I didn't have to pay them anything. So now I have no idea what they did or didn't do. Obviously, I will try to find a more transparent vendor and eventually the job will be done. I simply wanted to advise future customers seeking help with pests to realize that my experience with them lacked professionalism(didn't order the correct supplies), honesty, and responsiveness. This especially after all their guarantees. Thank you.

When I noticed mud tunnels in my garage, I suspected termites.  I contacted Perfection Pest Control and was able to schedule an inspection the same week.  Tim Leatherman came out on 5/21.  He confirmed that my home had subterranean termites.  He shared with me the process they use to treat for termites.  Tim is very knowledgeable.  He was able to schedule my home for treatment on 6/8.  On the morning of 6/8, heavy rain was expected.  So, they rescheduled for later in the week (6/11).  On 6/11, Doug, Dan and Ken showed up on time at 10:30 AM.  The three were very pleasant and welcomed any questions I had regarding the treatment.  The treatment process took about five hours.  They did a nice job of cleaning up and putting things back in the garages.

It was very good, they came and they took care of the problem.  The one thing I would have wanted was more reassurance.  I was glad that they sent a woman.  I'm not sure why, but I just didn't think a man would do as good a job of checking all the places that needed to be checked, so I was happy to see they didn't send a man.  I just wish they'd given me a little more confidence, I was very unsettled and they weren't very reassuring, and didn't exactly tell me what they were going to do before they got there.

They do an excellent job.  Ours girls used to complain about the spiders in our basement and all of the centipedes in our yard and now they aren't.

My  concern was getting rid of the ants. But even more importantly was the concern of the safety of my pets. The service professional who came to my home was Russ and he very carefully explained the different options, the safety of the products and what he believed would be the best solution for my situation. I felt completely informed about the products and felt the solution he suggested was the best way to get rid of the ants and protect my pets. He used a combination of corn bait that was sprinkled around the perimeter of my home. He also treated my window ledges with a spray based on the amount of reports from clients having ants coming through windows this year. Several days after the treatment I noticed ants at my back door coming in off my ernclosed porch. I had opted not to have that area treated because of my cats. I contacted Russ and he was out the following day and applied a gel bait that placed was in cracks and openings that the ants would go to but was safe for my pets. I was not charged for this service. What a delight to work with a professional company that cares about the work that they do and makes the satisfaction of their customers their top priority. I can and will highly commend them to family and friends. This has been a great experience. Went exceptionally well.  As it turned out we had a yellow jacket nest that we weren't aware of when we had the original proposal.  Dan took care of it first thing--even got stung and didn't charge us extra.  We had interruptions while he was here and he just continued to do his work.  Moved his van because he thought it  might be in the way.  Overall, very good work and would recommend.

We knew there was a yellow jacket nest near the front wooden step, but they had caused no trouble for anyone all summer up until August.   We were going to clear it out in the fall, after they were done.   Then the wasps decided they were no longer going to be friendly and stung me over a dozen times one afternoon while getting the mail (luckily I am not allergic).  Not knowing the extent of the size of the nest and not wanting to get stung again while trying to eliminate them, I called Perfection late that afternoon and my call was promptly answered.    Dan said he would put it on the list for the next day and the next day I talked to the office and someone was scheduled to come late that afternoon.   A few hours before the scheduled time, he called and asked if he could come early and I said  "of course".    Dan arrived and verified they were yellow jackets and that he could get rid of them that day.  He took his time and watched for their flight pattern before attempting to spray.  Once he knew his safest route, he began spraying them down and they were not happy about it.  It took several rounds of spraying and waiting for them to exit and calm down before he could go in and finish and put down some barrier dust so that the stragglers still out feeding would come back and contact it and also die.   After he felt comfortable they were mostly gone, he pulled the wooden step back and we saw no live ones.  He also found a small hole between the brick and concrete behind the step and also put some dust  and spray in it, just in case  there were others down it.  While safely waiting in the garage during the extermination, I found a small wasps nest on the top of the garage door-  Dan came over to check it out, and quickly took care of it before it could become a bigger problem.  Dan was very professional, friendly and  "chatty"-   we discussed bees and other pests, and he had some very interesting stuff about Carpenter Bees I had never heard of.     It has been appr. 2 weeks since the extermination, and  there are still no bees on the porch, so I am confident the treatment was successful and that calling in a professional was, in the long run, much faster and cheaper than a hospital visit . I know if I see any of the bees congregating, I can call them and they will make it right..  I highly recommend this company.
