They were great. Tim contacted me immediately to set up a time. They were prompt, explained what they would be doing and why, and kept me apprised of the process. Tim also shared with me some ways that I could take better care of my deck in the future, without making me feel bad at all. He was very helpful. I will definitely be contacting them in the future!

Went well overall. Done the day scheduled. Price for the pothole repair ($35) was reasonable. Only concern was that there was some of the sealent that went outside the boundaries of the driveway, onto the grass border. My neighbors do not keep a clean yard line, so that is likely the issue. Once again, overall pleased with the service.

Work was done in one day with an extended period between sealing coats. The workers called me 1/2 hour before arrival each time. I am a repeat customer---I highly recommend~!!

I used this company because of a coupon offered by Angieslist. The crew was punctual and professional. My qualm was that within the next 9 months the sealcoating began to peel off of the driveway. Since the workers swept the driveway before coating it, I assumed that the problem was caused by the sap from all of the trees on the property. I should note that I did not try to get this corrected by the company, since the work was done for such a low cost.

It was fine. They were right on the spot. I joked with them; they didn’t ring the bell when they started work. I looked out and they were there. They spread the asphalt. They got the truck going and heating the tar. These guys were in a hurry when the owner came. These guys were under so much pressure to make money. I understand they want to get this stuff over and done as fast as possible and move on to the next job. I am satisfied that I got good value. It was a big deal purchase. There was no extra charge.

Down to earth did an excellent job of sealing my asphalt driveway. They trimmed the edges of grass and cleaned it prior to sealing. Drive looks new again, they did a fantastic job. Highly recommended, would use again.

I have no complaints. There were extra costs involved and it became too expensive for me.

I have a very large and steep driveway. Down to Earth used weadeaters and blowers to clean the drive, used hot mix professional equipment to fill the cracks. The next day they put down a heavily sanded sealer so that i have good traction in winter. They scrubbed it in with brooms. On day three they put down a top coat. There is not a drop of the sealer on my sidewalk or retaining wall. The owner wiped his feet before walking on THE GRASS! Very conscientious and the owner supervised his men closely. They also power washed a large composite deck for me under this contract. The deck was moldly and they got it clean without strong chemicals. Superb work, and you'll see by my other reviews that I'm not easy to please.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. I didn't pay any additional. They were fine and did a good job. They were quick, professional, courteous and good.

Everything was well done and I was happy with the work performed. REASON FOR REFUND REQUEST WAS THAT I WAS DOUBLE BILLED ....PAID SUPPLIER AND WAS ALSO BILLED BY ANGIE'S LIST.

I asked for an estimate through Angie's List. Tim contacted me and had an estimate in my mail box the next day. After getting a couple more estimates (which were much lower) from companys that were not prompt and not very professional, I decided to go with Down to Earth. I just decided you get what you pay for. I called Tim to get a better idea of what I was getting for my money. He answered all my questions and scheduled the date, called me before arriving,and showed up when they said they would. I believe they did a very good job. The work looks neat, they took care not to slop seal coat on plants and sidewalks. My only complaint would be that there was an Angie's Deal offered for $140 ($360 value) and when I called Tim, to see if buying this Angie's Deal would save me money on the seal coat part of my driveway work, he said that I would not be able to use it because I was having other driveway repair work done. I still do not understand why the deal could not have been used on 1000 sq ft.(the max.area the deal covered) of the seal coating that was being done.

Down to Earth repaired and sealed our driveway and did such as excellent job that the driveway also has been admired by our neighbors, one of whom is planning to have Down to Earth seal their driveway. On the four decks - on 3 of which they put a solid sealer and on 2 privacy screens and 1 large, elevated deck a semi-transparent sealer - they did a magnificent, very detailed job. The coverage is complete to the last little detail and they made sure that would be the case by treating the decks and privacy screens until they were satisfied - amazingly they were even more picky about this than the home owners! Tim, the owner, was always just a phone call away and often he called me before I had a chance to contact him. He also talked with me daily to make sure we were happy with the color, the job, or any detail they might have overlooked. They even went over and above by cutting back a rose that had overgrown it's space by the deck rather than asking me to take care of it. Everyone who worked with Tim was professional, knowledgeable and fun to talk with. After 14 years in Louisville, and having used a large number of repairmen and contractors (most of whom were good), I cannot say enough good things about Down to Earth. They are truly an exceptional company. If they did other things we need done I would contact them immediately! and most assuredly will contact them about redoing the decks the next time.

I was contacted promptly and an appointment was set up. They showed up on time and were flexible when a brief rainstorm forced them to suspend work and come back later in the day. Everything was clearly explained to me before and during the process and my driveway looks terrific. Very professional and personable -- I would recommend Down to Earth highly.

Contacted Down To Earth. The estimator came the next day and the job was finished the next. Job was done in a professional manor. Workers called prior to coming and it looks like a new driveway.

My experience was fine and he did a good job. There was one person here doing the work. He showed up when he said he would. He got the job done professional and quickly.

Big B and Sons Blacktopping was the crew that actually did the work. They did a great job putting the new asphalt in, they were able to extend the area a little without disrupting the yard or existing landscaping. The only reason I gave them a B for punctuality was that they were about 30-45 mins late getting to the house on the day the work was done, and a phone call to let me know they were running late would have been helpful. But the job was done quickly, neatly, and professionally. I would definitely recommend them.

I am very pleased with the work Down to Earth did for me. They responded to my initial inquiry and got a bid to me quickly. Once I gave the OK, they scheduled the work. It's early spring and weather was an obstacle, but they were great about communicating with me and got it done as soon as the weather cleared. The driveway looks great.

They did a great job. We've had them do it before. He wanted to be sure it was dry before they did the next step and it rained and he came clear out here and said he is not going to do it, because it rained. They waited and did it the next day. I thought that showed that he really cared about their work. They are in Shepherdsville and we are in Crestwood.

The pre-sealer prep was done meticulously. Down to Earth pressure washed the entire driveway and thoroughly cleaned and prepped prior to sealing. The only sealer you saw was on the drive. No mess in the yard on other areas of my property. A very professional job. Thank You.

Great Communication, Answered phone in 2-3 rings every time I called, Kept me informed throughout the process, The workman called to give me a "heads up" 30 minutes before they showed up each time. My Driveway looks great. All in all I am very satisfied with the work they performed.

I call and talked to the owner Tim Gadjen he came by that day and gave me several options. We made our choice and he said they could do it on Sunday. They called on Saturday said they had time to do it and we were ready. They were clean, neat and did a wonderful job. A great group of men doing a very hot job in the heat!

It went great -- Tim is a standup guy and I will definitely contact him in the future when my driveway needs resealed.
