Description of Work: Prepped and sealed both my asphalt driveway and exposed aggregate patio -- both of which I had let go a bit too long condition-wise with respect to wear and surface cleanliness. |Very professional work performed. Three-day process went without a hitch. They promptly alerted me each time before they were scheduled to come out. They took care of the driveway cracks and excess wear areas requiring patching prior to sealing which improved dramatically the driveway's condition heading into the winter. Patio was never sealed prior and was heavily stained. Down to Earth pressure-washed and sealed patio ro near like-new condition [which surprised me]. Even put on a 2nd coat without asking. Overall very satisfied.

Description of Work: The provider came and measured my deck for pressure washing and sealing and told me I would have to pay an additional $300 more than the Big Deal I'd already purchased at $279. In my opinion, that was no deal at all. I expected a much better discount on the service. As a result, I am cancelling my Angie's List membership as I can see no real benefit.

Description of Work: Simply the big deal was for asphalt resurfacing and my driveway is concrete pebbles- a much higher cost to coat and resurface. So the offer did not apply to my type of driveway surface

Description of Work: The company owner showed up on Sunday afternoon without prior notice, waking my 4 year old daughter and my wife up (who is ill). He did not ask to start, he just sort of ignored me. After he finished measuring the drive, he started the discussion on the bid. Then he tried to up-sell a 200$ service fee for cleaning the driveway. After I explained that this was supposed to be included, he said he would coat it 1 time and without a guarantee (meaning the coating would be worthless). His measurement of the driveway added 300 square feet. I know the square footage, as the drive is only 2 years old and I had it redone (not coated, but completely new asphalt after the old was ripped up). As with all asphalt, minor cracks existed. He did not mention these. I assumed that if they were a problem he would, as part of a professional estimate, discuss any issues concerning the condition of the drive. He handed me the bid and left. I was wary of the whole affair so I looked up his ratings and reviews. After reading some ratings on how he had done a 'bait and switch' before, I called him back to ask about these minor cracks. He then said that would require a re-bid and would take two days. WOW, so he was going to lay a coat over my driveway, cracks there, knowing full well, this would make the sealant worthless in a year, requiring me to have it done again. Epic Failure on good faith estimate! So yea, I do not think I will do business with this man. I would like my money back!
