Description of Work: Installation of high quality replacement windows went flawlessly-very professional crew completed the work as scheduled. Very minor issue with loose shudder was not promptly addressed but overall very happy with the quality of the work and the windows. Would definitely use Mengel for future projects.

Description of Work: They replaced all of the original windows in our house and one set of French Doors (that were terribly inefficient) with their high efficiency triple pane windows and a sliding glass door. We couldn't be happier with their product. Even though, initially we thought their pricing was too high, the windows are wonderful and we have seen reduced energy bills because of them. When the installers came out to install the windows/slider they we on time and answered any questions I had prior to and during the installation. | |But what I am the most impressed with, is their after installation service. I received a phone call from the Sales Manager asking me how the installation went. Even though the installers performed the work I asked them to (they reinstalled our shutters exactly the same way they were prior to the window install) I didn't really understand what I was asking for so I was unhappy with the result. Since I was unhappy, Mengel had their installers come back out and redo the work to my satisfaction. Now I couldn't be happier with how things turned out. I would definitely recommend them and use them again in the future.

Description of Work: Mengel's team came out and removed all existing 1980's windows and replaced with beautiful triple pane windows. | |The install team was quick, as quiet as they could be (1 week old baby napping), efficient, and did a great job cleaning up after themselves. All old windows and storm windows were removed and replaced with wonderful new triple pane windows. Sliders in the front, double hung in the back of my home. | |Mengels team both the sales team and the install team were great to work with. Not only before the sale, but during the install, and after the windows were installed. The sales guy actually came back out to my house a couple of days after the install to check to make sure the windows looked good, we were happy, and find out if we had any concerns and address them (we didnt) While he was here he tested all of the windows to make sure they opened/tilted/closed properly and that they were all installed to his satisfaction and there were no issues we may not have noticed (caulk shrinkage or a sticky window as examples) | |The entire process was smooth and Mengels team made it so easy! This was the reno I have done with a contractor on my home!

Description of Work: Mengel installed 14 triple pane windows in my house and 5 double pane windows in my basement. I have waited one year to rate them because I wanted to be able to see how the windows were holding up. After a year they are in excellent condition. I really like the windows especially the noise reduction they provide. The Installation was quick and they cleaned up very well. They were good people with which to work. I would recommendation them without reservation. The windows have saved me about 25% on utility bills.
