Terminix - Nicholasville -Termite & Pest Control

Description of Work: They provided a termite inspection most recently. We’ve used their service since the house was built in 1979. They actually treated the ground before the house was built.

Description of Work: It’s always fine. They provide termite and general pest control. They’re very good about coming out for any treatments in between and are good about scheduling.

Description of Work: I WOULD NEVER USE TERMINIX AND I WOULD NEVER REFER ANYONE TO THEM. On August 18, 2015 I called Terminix and they sent an Inspector to my home to do an Inspection that evening. The Inspection was Free. The Inspector was paid in advance by a check from me in the amount of $204.00 for Service to be done. The papers I was given by Terminix said I had 3 days to cancel the Service if I decided I did not want it. So the VERY NEXT DAY I CANCELLED THE SERVICE WITH THE CANCELLATION DEPARTMENT OF TERMINIX AND WAS TOLD I WOULD RECEIVE MY CHECK BACK IN THREE BUSINESS DAYS BUT THE PAPERS I WAS GIVEN SAID THE REFUND WOULD BE GIVEN BACK WITHIN 10 BUSINESS DAYS. | |I called the Terminix number and you get a call Center so after the 3 days when I did not receive my refund I called back......I ended up calling more than 6 times and they finally let me talk to someone in the Liason Dept. I was TOLD BY THE LADY IN THAT DEPT. THAT "THE INSPECTOR WHO HAD COME TO MY HOME ON AUGUST 18TH HAD KEPT MY CHECK AS THEY HAD NO RECORD OF ANY PAYMENT"....I CONTINUED TO KEEP CALLING AND I WOULD TALK TO DIFFERENT PEOPLE IN THE CALL CENTER AND EACH PERSON WOULD TELL ME SOMETHING DIFFERENT. | |I HAD THE CARD THAT THE TERMINIX INSPECTOR GAVE ME WITH HIS PHONE NUMBER ON IT AND SO I CALLED HIM AND EXPLAINED THE SITUATION AND HE SAID THAT THE LOCAL OFFICE BRANCH MANAGER IN NICHOLASVILLE, KENTUCKY WHOSE NAME IS JACOB STARK WAS THE ONE HE GAVE MY CHECK TO AND THE INSPECTOR GAVE ME JACOB STARK'S PHONE NUMBER. I CALLED JACOB STARK AND LEFT A DETAILED MESSAGE AND HE NEVER CALLED ME BACK. SO I CALLED AGAIN AND HE ANSWERED ON AUGUST 31, 2015 AND HE TOLD ME THAT HE HAD BEEN GIVEN MY CHECK AND HE HAD TO CONTACT THE PHOENIX BRANCH TO FIND OUT WHERE MY CHECK WAS (AS NO ONE COULD TELL ME WHERE IT WAS). BUT HE NEVER CALLED ME BACK....HE PROMISED HE WOULD CALL BACK THAT DAY AND NOW IT IS SEPTEMBER 9TH AND HE HAS NEVER CALLED BACK. | |SO I CALLED THE CALL CENTER AGAIN AND A LADY PUT ME THROUGH TO THE LIASON DEPARTMENT WITH TERMINIX AND THIS MAN WAS NICE AND HE TOLD ME THAT THE PAPERS THAT TERMINIX WERE GIVING TO CUSTOMERS WAS INCORRECT AS THEY HAD CHANGED THEIR POLICY 2-3 MONTHS AGO AND THE REFUND CHECK WOULD BE SENT OUT TO CUSTOMERS FROM PHOENIX ON THE 1ST AND THE 15TH OF THE MONTH. I EXPLAINED ALL OF THE CONFUSION TO HIM AND EVEN THOUGH IT WAS SEPT. 1ST HE ASKED HIS SUPERVISOR, DARLENE, AND SHE SAID THAT I HAD TO WAIT UNTIL THE 15TH BEFORE THEY WOULD BE MAILING IT OUT. | |If I do not receive my refund back of $204.00 which I was last told would be mailed on September 15th then I am going to take them to Small Claims Court to get my Refund back and my expenses for Court costs. I did write down the name of each person I talked to and the date. | |If you cannot trust a Local Office Manager, and his name is Jacob Stark, to return back a phone call AFTER HE PROMISED AND HE KNEW OF THE PROBLEM I HAD WITH TALKING TO SO MANY DIFFERENT PEOPLE WITH TERMINIX AND EACH GIVING ME A DIFFERENT ANSWER...then how could I ever trust that the chemicals they would use would be what they tell me they are. | |I WOULD NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AND I WOULD NEVER REFER ANYONE TO USE THEM. |

Description of Work: I used Terminix International for pest control on the 1st of December to spray the interior of the house and the perimeter of the house. I pay them $35 per quarter.
