Terminix - Nicholasville -Termite & Pest Control

🤑. I called 4 times that day. Not able to tell me anything. I called back Monday morning. They were polite but that's about it. Will not use again & do not recommend to anyone else!

They did not show after scheduling a time between 1-3 pm. No one even called to say why.

The previous home owner had Terminix for 18 years. The last check for termites was on June 27th. I called to have the contract transferred into our name, so that we could continue with the same agreement. I was told that the manager "Jacob" would call me back. I never heard anything, so I called again and scheduled to have someone come to the house. The inspectpr came to the house, late, and said they would have to put in a whole new baiting system for the house and it would cost $1600.00. I told the inspector we would have to think on that. I called Terminix again, and finally they said yes, they would reinstate the previous agreement and we would just continue paying the yearly fee of $350.00, since the last check-up had been in June. They said an inspector would have to come to the house for me to sign the contract. The same inspector (from the previous visit) came to our house and said that Terminix can't reinstate the contract and that a new inspection had to be done and a complete change in the termite baiting system they use, since the one they had "no longer is used." (but, they came a month ago and changed out a few of the old baiting stations... and now they don't have it??) So, we said no. The inspector complained that 'this was his second time he came to our house for no reason'. All in all, they will try to squeeze every penny from you and don't honor what they say. Their word means nothing and they try to take advantage of new homeowners.

They're good. I have been using them for a while now.

The end result was good. But I had to go to state officials to get a complaint to get Terminix to honor it's work.

They found evidence of termite damage, fortunately outside the home, The cost was for the treatment for the termintes, not the inspection. If I had them treat the problem, the inspection would be free.

I have had a termite contract with Terminix for approximately six years. On October 29 I had some work done on my home and discovered termite damage. Terminix has been unresponsive regarding a claim. The following is a timeline of events. Oct. 30 - called Terminix and scheduled to have someone examine the wall Oct. 31 - Chris Winn examines, says his boss (Wesley Johnson) needs to look at it Nov. 1 - call Terminix to ask who I need to talk to. Say they'll send Wesley a message Nov. 4 - call Terminix again, say they'll send Wesley another note Nov. 12 4:56 p.m. - someone from Terminix calls me to schedule an appt. to inspect the interior of the house. I explain that it was recently inspected and that Wesley never called me. Nov. 13 1:47 p.m. - Wesley calls and leaves a message Nov. 13 4:49 p.m. - I return Wesley's call and leave a message Nov. 15 1:22 p.m. - I leave a message for Wesley Today is November 19 and still no call from Wesley.

They send people out here pretty promptly. They came out and tried one thing and it put a dent in the ants' way that were coming through my kitchen window. It seemed to go good for about a week and then they came back and sprayed. They came in at three different times and tried different stuff. He took samples and he took them back. They come out once every two months, but if I need them sooner they will come sooner. Last spring I had some mice come in and started eating my bird feed in my garage and they came in and took care of that. They take care of whatever kind of infestation of every variety that comes up. The only downside of that is that birds get stuck onto the sticky traps. They are not able to hit their scheduled time. I have had them for four years.

Installed the system the next day. The location of the traps was not exactly where we discussed but close.

It went great - not a service you look forward to using but both Zack and Todd walked us thru with care and great customer service - then it got better - we also had the insect part of the service done by Torriano and he even left his cell phone number in case we had to call him back but the service was so precise that we have not had to contact

I initially contracted with another company which was bought over by Terminix and this is how I ended up using them. They are fine, timely, and very professional. They provide quite a bit of information when they come. I am not sure how they are with their responsiveness because I have not really had any issue for them to respond to.

I did not like the yearly contract at all because they came one time and took care of the problems, but I did not like that they had to keep coming back. I canceled the service. The service was fine and if I had another problem for them, I would call them.

I called the Terminix office to schedule their pest control services, and asked them to explain what would be done. She said they would put out traps that would contain the mice, and I would not see them because the traps were enclosed. Also, no poison would be used. I was told they had a 24/7 call line, and someone would come to remove the full traps as soon as I called, and that they would follow-up with periodic inspections. When the men came, they started setting out poison in boxes that would not contain the mice, but instead would allow them to wander through the house and die anywhere, and glue traps that would expose the trapped mice. They also said they would not come out and remove the dead mice, and that I would probably have to wait several days for someone to come and remove them, or I would have to do it myself. This is the exact opposite as to the service I was told about and was expecting. I have pets, children, and elderly living in my house and this would expose them to poisons and dead mice. I told the Terminix men to get their things and leave. I then found someone who would do the job safely and effectively. As I said, I don't do business with companies that lie about their services. I will say that the Terminix men were polite, and there was no unpleasant confrontation when I asked them to leave.

They inspect and treat as needed and not just treat everytime they come out with chemicals.

I had to keep reminding the service agent why he was here and suggest where he should spray. I think he should be capable of carrying out the service without being told where to spray. The agent is a story teller and is prone to go on and on about his experiences.I am pretty sure that he only covered one side of my house.

They come monthly or quarterly, I don’t remember. I haven’t seen any bugs inside the house. They are prompt and I will continue using them.

Every year I get some kind of critters like, ants, spiders, etc. They come back and do an additional application if the pests come back.

They have a very personal service, and customer service is great. They treat their customers very well

They seem to be doing a good job and are effective. I would use them again in the future.

They were very expensive. We had termites so they drill holes both inside and outside the house. They tore my house and carpet apart but I am sure it’s the procedure that they had to go through. Then they filled it with something underneath the house. They made a lot of mess but I guess it worked because I didn’t have to call anybody since then. If I had known in advance what they were about to do then I would have probably kept the termites. They did put everything back in place but everything had to be moved. A lot of it had to be moved by me so it was such an undertaking. I didn’t like them.

They call in advance and come at the appointed time. We have been using there service for twenty years.

I like they can come and unless I am having a problem inside, I don't even have to be home. They leave a sticker to let us know they have come. If you have a problem in between preventative visits, its no charge.

I've had no problem with them. I give them all A's. I will continue to use their services in the future.

I liked that they made the bugs stay away. I never had any problems. They never had to come back. Their quality was good. If I had any questions, they answered every question. I had no problem with them. From the time I called them and they got here, they started it within a week. They gave a time and they showed up, before I even got out of my bed. That was what I liked. I got up early anyways. As soon as they got here and did their stuff, I could get out of my bed. They were very professional. They will be back next month.

They are super nice and if I see any bugs after the treatment and I call them, they are here the next day. Their price might be a little higher, but their quality is awesome. I would use them again in the future.
