Purchased Big Deal for $99 on Sunday the 17th of November and provided dates. Scott Gaw of Grout Restoration Company called Monday the18th of November to schedule visit for estimate, called day of visit Tuesday the19th of November to come early. Showed him rather small, tiled shower stall (51 sq. ft. tiled needing work), he looked over, quoted tile attachment (4 tiles), and caulking of interior (much less than 100 sq. ft. of 6" tile in Big Deal), told me this was the first of "Big Deal's" he has participated in with Angie's List. I asked how many & how long for job (indicated 1 worker in 1 day), created two stage quote $150 for adhering & grouting tile to repair; 2nd stage $387 for caulking interior (51 sq. ft.) of stall; total $537 (-$200?) = $337 additional to $99. Indicated he liked to achieve $200/hour for his crew, when I commented 8 hour = $50/hour + materials. Would only take 2 hours(!?). This is definitely not what was "advertised" in the bullets of the Big Deal.

They were very efficient. They worked very hard and I was pleased with the work.

It went very well! I was very pleased with their work. The tile flooring looks much better! They were prompt, punctual, and genuinely cared how the tile looked when they were finished. I would recommend them!

I used this company several years ago (aprox 2011) when they were called Grout Medic. I have misplaced the records for this service, but remember it as being reasonable. .The amount above is just a guess as I have misplace the record. Made an appointment and came on time. The bathroom tile and grout restoration was perfect when he finished. Better than new. I appreciated his knowledge of grout colors and sealing. I only wish our builder's contractor had taken the time to discuss this feature with us.

Both of these bathrooms look brand new. It is amazing that cleaning or redoing grout can make such a difference. Scott was on time and very professional when he came to give us a quote. Jeff came on time on the day scheduled and worked about 8 hours to assure everything was done perfectly and to our satisfaction. Great job!

Call-back was quick and they accommodated my need for Saturday work. The worker looked at the bathtub caulk, removed some to see the condition underneath and then gave me an estimate of $100. There was no obligation, as he would have replaced the caulk removed if I didn't want to proceed. Please note that this was a standard ceramic bathtub with a plastic surround - not a ceramic tile job. Although I thought the price to be steep, I agreed. The job took about 1 hour. I was very pleased with the results, as he removed some discoloration from the surround in addition to the professional caulk job around the bathtub edge, faucets and spigot, as well as at the floor line. I appreciated that the worker removed his shoes each time he came in the house, even though the job wasn't messy. There was also nothing to clean up when he left. One complaint I have is that the worker went outside to "call the office" before giving me an estimate. This sort of "behind the customer's back" scheme doesn't bode well with me, but I needed the work done. Fortunately, the job was done satisfactorily.

I have worked with company ( under former name of GroutMedic) two other times. When my shower ( slab marble walls, floor pan) needs to be re- grouted, I have always had good luck with their price, reliability $service.

I had two bathrooms that needed some work. They were prompt, right on time and worked straight through until they were done. The guys were very polite and courteous, even taking off their shoes at the door. I would definitely recommend them!

They chipped out all the old grout out of the shower and the floor area. The steamed washed the entire area including the floor in the bathroom area. They re-grouted and then re-caulked everything as well. It looks like we have a brand new shower. They also put down a protection to prevent mold/mildew. Jeff did the work and did an excellent job. He even cleaned up well after himself.
