Kerry was GREAT! Very friendly and professional! He came, did a quick inspection, upon this, commenced cleaning my chimney and fireplace. The whole thing took about an hour, and he did a great job. Not only did he clean everything well, he took me on the roof and up into the bottom of the chimney to explain how everything worked and why problems arise. He gave me pamphlets and information and even has a guy who sells seasoned firewood for a good price. Would definitely reccommend him! I have had many different contractors to my home in the last year, and have been extremely disappointed with the majority of them. Kerry is a different breed, and gave me faith in spending my money to have someone do a job and go above and beyond. Well Done!!

I had not used my 2 gas fireplaces in a couple of years and wanted them inspected to make sure they were OK to use...nothing blocking the chimneys, etc. Kerry Culbreth and partner arrived on time. They were very courteous and professional, and performed the inspections quickly. Both chimneys were clean and the charge for both inspections was $75. One of the fireplaces did not appear to be drawing correctly and I was advised to have someone come in to move the gas pipes and logs further back from the fireplace opening. I had never had that problem before. When Kerry left, I discovered that the flue on that fireplace was not completely opened which caused the fumes to back up into the room. When I checked the flue, it did seem to stick in one place which made you think it was opened all the way when in fact it was only partially opened. When I gave the flue an additional shove, it opened up the rest of the way. Once I did that, the fireplace was just fine and worked properly. Over all, the experience was good. As both chimneys were clean, no major work was done other than looking them over. Kerry was a nice person to work with and I would call him again if I needed a chimney sweep.

We had just purchased this house which had an obviously dirty chimney. We love a fire in the cool/cold weather but did not want to use the fireplace without having it cleaned. Kerry was quick, neat, professional, and personable. Great service.

Everything went fine. For $75 he inspected the chimney interior which didn't need cleaning and identified a rust problem outside for which he had a solution. The additional money we spent was for him to correct the rust problem.

He did exactly what he said he was going to do and it all went fine.

They do wonderful work and explain things our only problem with them was they were busy they could not come until the next spring,they did not forget us and called when they could come.

He got me very reasonable people, plus his work was very good. He even stayed there to supervise the other work that was going on. This was nice because I was out of town for most of this time. I have nothing but good things to say about him! His prices were very reasonable. The approximate cost listed is just for the work that he did, I had to pay the plumber and mason separately. I would like to say I think this man should be recommended for the Page of Happiness. He was not only on time for his service, but on time to supervise the other peoples work.

Kerry did a very thorough job in the inspection pointing out all that was wrong with the fireplace and chimney. He recommended quite a lot of repairs, including tearing down the chimney and rebuilding it, which he would be happy to arrange. The general home inspector disagreed with that assessment, and said just the chimney cap and flashing needed to be replaced. Although Kerry did quite a good job with the inspection, what he did not really "get" is that there is a conflict of interest when the inspector makes the recommendation, then offers to do the repairs. In instances like this, the two need to be completely separate. Because of his being so thorough, and nice, I would not hesitate to use him in the future for chimney cleaning or repairs someone else recommends. However, I probably would not use him to do repairs he recommends as an inspector.

Very friendly guy used imaging equipment that helped me understand what needed done and what my money would get me. Prompt and reasonably priced.

Excellent service and I would highly recommend. Kerry was very personable and kind. He did a great job of cleaning up (to the point that you can't even tell he was here). He covered any furniture that was close to the fireplace and used many drop cloths to ensure there was no dirt. He checked everything inside and out and provided some advice around some chimney water issues that I had been having.

The repair person inspected my dryers duct work and found that the duct work did not need cleaned. The repair person did not charge me for a cleaning but only for coming out.

He was on time, very tidy, clean and super nice!

Great job. Kerry was very helpful, when I made the appointment I told him that I had a gas smell and that the chimney hadn't been inspected in eight years. He told me that while the smell could come from a blocked chimney, it was more likely to come from the gas valve, which is a plumber's job. I happen to have a plumber coming over and, sure enough, the gas valve was leaking. Has Kerry not taken the time with me on the phone, I would have had to call a plumber again (meaning a second "call charge"). Kerry called before he came and was very thorough, neat and clean. Again, he was very helpful taking me down into the cellar and showing where the shutoff was for the fireplace gas as well as the shutoff for the furnace and water heater. No plumber or furnace guy had ever taken the time to show me that and I'm glad Kerry did. By the way, he told me he gives a discount if you call in the summer, so that's what I plan to do when I have the chimney inspected in a couple of years.

Terry did an absolutely super job. They will be doing additional repairs for me in the spring based on his analysis of the chimney. Very professional and gave me complete information on the repairs that were needed.

Kenny was very polite and professional on the phone when I scheduled the appointment. He told me the costs and explained what he would do. When he showed up at my house he handed me his card as soon as I opened the door which I appreciated as I was home alone. He explained what he would do again, cleaned and inspected (he said he wouldn't clean if it wasn't necessary in which case he would only charge for the inspection however it needed cleaning. He showed me and explained why it needed cleaning.) He covered the furniture and despite a mark I noticed on the floor after he left he was very clean. (The mark came off with some work and I am not sure if it was from his shoe or from moving the furniture.) When he was finished he gave me a clear receipt which included a quote for a cap, explained what the cap was for, showed me how to work my fireplace (just moved in and never had a fireplace before) and gave me some literature on safety.

Don't bother calling anyone else. Kerry is a craftsman who takes pride in his work. Up front and honest about what you need/don't need. Gives free annual inspection. Removed three live birds (and at least one dead one) from my chimney, along with gallons of guano. No mess, no hassle.

They did a good job cleaning my chimney and cleaned up their mess well. They were on time, very polite and courteous. It did not take them very long to get the job done either. Their price was also good.

The guys found a gas leak in my gas fireplace that had previously gone undetected. They recommended a plumber to fix it, and offered to re-inspect it afterward at no charge. They were extremely friendly and professional.

They did a great job. They're were punctual, called when they encountered a traffic jam and still made within the time window they gave us. They didn't get the house dirty. They explained things to us and gave us tips for improving/maintaining our fireplace/chimney. We will definately use them again.

HE WAS SWAMPED AT THE TIME. HE CAME TO ME IN THE DEAD OF WINTER AND MADE SURE THAT MY CHIMNEY WAS CLEAN. HE MADE A SPECIAL TRIP. HE PUT A SHEET OUTSIDE AND PUT COVERS ON HIS SHOES BEFORE HE CAME INTO MY HOME. HE SPENT TIME EXPLAINING THINGS TO ME. I AM HAVING HIM COME BACK SOON TO PUT A NEW CAP ON MY CHIMNEY. I FELT THE PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE.

I THOUGHT THAT THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND DID EXCELLENT WORK. THEY WERE VERY FRIENDLY AS WELL. THEY RAN THE SWEEPER AND PUT EVERY THING BACK THE WAY IT SHOULD BE AFTER THE JOB WAS COMPLETED.

THE BIRDS WERE GETTING IN AND NESTING IN THE CHIMNEY. I HAD THEM CAP THE CHIMNEY, TO STOP THEM FROM DOING THIS. THEY TREATED ME VERY NICE. I DIDN'T HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WITH THEM SHOWING UP OR GETTING AHOLD OF THEM TO SET UP AN APPOINTMENT.
