TruGreen Lawn Care - 5150

Lawn does not look like it's gotten good, professional treatment. There are obvious strips of grass that got more fertilizer than other areas. Might have something to do with the fact that the serviceman virtually gallops around the property with his applicator, as if he's got two minutes or so to finish. Also, he left fertilizer granules all over our sidewalks, which I had to sweep up. Total amateur night. Lawn looked better when I took care of it myself.

The treatments worked but as I stated above there was always a separate price for multiple different applications and not discussed when the service was first started.

Their services are excellent and at an excellent price. They will work with you to meet your needs. The workers are very professional and do a great job. Once I thought I got short changed because my yard is so close to my neighbors and they said "No Problem" and came right back out.

During late August, I noticed that my yard was becoming overrun with weeds and I contacted them. The response was less than sympathetic (pretty much looking for fault in what I might have done) and when a supervisor came out to review the situation and treat the lawn with more appropriate chemicals, he had not even reviewed the service that had been provided to help me understand what went wrong. They need to adapt a more systematic approach to working with their customers, and when a situation is extreme (as mine was) really try to help the client understand what may have happened. In my case, I had over-seeded the lawn in the Spring, which prevented them from putting any pre-emergent weed control down, but it turned out they had not been out to treat the lawn for weeds all summer, at all. I had confused some of the bills I received for other services to be for weed control. The killer on this was to have the supervisor show up and not even know what the schedule had been for the year. He simply didn't bother to check, which I view as a negative indicator of their approach to service.

They are good and dependable and prompt. Cost is per service.

When I called for the free lawn service analysis, I was a little put off that they attempted to do it over the telephone, rather than coming out to actually see my lawn. They were very quick about getting the service done and my lawn is looking better. Their pricing is comparable to the rest of the market and my wife likes that they come out every 5 weeks to re-treat, on schedule.

Scott's is always quick and on time and they are consistent in doing very thorough work. They definitely know their business and my lawn looks like a green carpet. I like that they are clean cut, professional and reasonably priced. If you would like a nice lawn, I recommend using them to anyone.

I had to pay per visit and it was not seeming to work well at all. The chemicals were having my violets growing crazy but the grass was dying. I think that that people the owned the house before me did not use these treatments and it was not soaking in correctly. But still I feel that they could have used a different mixture or found something to work well for my situation.

RECENTLY THEY FORGOT THE SERVICE FOR ABOUT THREE OR FOUR MONTHS, MAYBE THEY THOUGHT WE WERE DONE, BUT THEY QUIT COMING AND I HAD TO CALL TO GET THEM TO COME OUT AGAIN. OTHER THAN THAT INCIDENT THEY HAVE BEEN FINE.

THEY'RE OKAY. WE GOT AN IRRIGATION SYSTEM AND WE THOUGHT WE'D TRY TO SEE IF THEY COULD MAKE IT LOOK BETTER. WE'VE ONLY HAD THREE TREATMENTS SO I GUESS WE'LL SEE. WE DO HAVE SOME BROWN SPOTS AND I EXPECT WITH A SERVICE THAT I WOULDN'T HAVE THAT. THEY ALWAYS CALL BEFORE THEY COME TO MAKE SURE WE KNOW.

OUR YARD LOOKS GOOD. WE ENDED UP KILLING OUR YARD A COUPLE YEARS AGO AND THEY HELPED US WITH THAT. WE'VE BEEN USING THEM SINCE. WE'VE BEEN MARRIED ABOUT 15 YEARS NOW. WE USED THEM AT OUR OTHER HOUSE AND WE USE THEM HERE NOW TOO. THEY HAVE ALWAYS DONE WELL. IF WE HAVE A COMPLAINT THEY DO COME RIGHT OUT. HOWEVER, THE LAWN ALWAYS LOOK GREAT SO WE DON'T HAVE TO CALL.

I FEEL THEY DO A GOOD JOB BECAUSE MY LAWN IS GREENER THAN THE NEIGHBORS. THE PRICE IS FAIR FOR THE SERVICE. THE TIMES THAT I HAVE CALLED THEY HAVE BEEN VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. WE HAVE HAD THE SERVICE FOR THREE YEARS.

THEY ARE EXCELLENT. THEY ARE PROMPT. IF I HAD ANY PROBLEM THEY COME OUT THAT DAY. THEY WILL MAKE EXTRA VISITS IF I HAVE A PROBLEM. THEY ARE ALWAYS FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL. THEIR PRICE IS COMPARABLE TO OTHERS IN THE AREA.

THEY'VE DONE EVERYTHING I'VE ASKED THEM TO DO AND THEY'VE DONE IT CORRECTLY AND PERFECTLY. I SEE THEM SOMETIMES AND SOMETIMES I DON'T. THEY'RE YOUNG MEN WHO COME OUT AND SPRAY.

THEY CALL BEFORE THEY DO WORK WHICH I REQUIRE. I WANT MY LAWN TO LOOK GOOD AND IT DOESN'T LOOK GOOD WITH THEIR SERVICES. THEY SAID THAT CRABGRASS ISN'T A WEED. I USE THEM NOW, BUT I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.

I'VE ONLY HAD A COUPLE OF MONTHS OF EXPERIENCE WHICH NOT A LOT OF EXPERIENCE YET. SO FAR THEY ARE ON THE JOB. WE ARE TRYING THEM OUT. THE FIRST TWO TREATMENTS WENT WELL AND WORKED, SO THEY ARE DOING WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO.

MY GRASS, BELIEVE IT OR NOT, IT'S MUCH BETTER. SO I GUESS IT'S WORTH IT. WHEN I MOVED HERE YEARS AGO, I HAD NO GRASS. I'VE ONLY DEALT WITH THE RECEPTIONIST, SHE WAS VERY NICE, VERY MANNERABLE AND COURTEOUS.

I'VE HAD THEM FOR YEARS. OUTSIDE OF ONE OR TWO INSTANCES IN ABOUT TWENTY YEARS, I'VE NEVER HAD ANY COMPLAINTS OR PROBLEMS WITH THEM. I'VE HAD OTHER, SMALLER COMPANIES THAT CAME AROUND AND AT FIRST BLUSH THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN CHEAPER. I HAVEN'T HAD ANY COMPLAINTS BUT IF I FOUND SOMEONE JUST AS CAPABLE AND CHEAPER, I'D PROBABLY GO WITH THEM.

THEY ARE PRETTY GOOD ABOUT CALLING AHEAD TO DO ANY KIND OF SPRAYING OR MAINTENANCE. THEY TALK TO ME ABOUT THE WORK BEFORE CHARGING FOR IT. THEY ARE VERY COURTEOUS WHEN I HAVE TO DEAL WITH SALES REPRESENTATIVES.

WE WERE NOT REALLY SATISFIED WITH THE QUALITY OF THE WORK OR WITH WHAT WE WERE SEEING. WE HAD A LOT OF CRICKETS. AS A MATTER OF FACT, MY HUSBAND ENDED UP GETTING RID OF THEM. WE WEREN'T HAPPY WITH THE TYPE OF SERVICE. THEIR PRICING WAS JUST ABOUT THE SAME AS EVERYONE IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD THAT HAD LAWN SERVICE.

THEY DO A VERY GOOD JOB FOR ME. THEY CHARGE ME ONE BASE PRICE. THEY COME AND CHECK MY YARD AND IF I HAVE A PROBLEM THEY TAKE CARE OF IT. I HAD A PROBLEM WITH WEEDS AROUND THE EDGES AND THEY CAME OUT AND TOOK CARE OF THEM. I AM SATISFIED WITH THEM.

IT IS ALWAYS A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE. I REALLY DON'T LIKE HAVING CHEMICALS BUT IT IS NECESSARY. THEY MAKE IT A PERFECTLY PLEASANT EXPERIENCE WHEN WORKING WITH THEM.

I FELT THAT THE PRICE WAS JUST A LITTLE HIGH FOR THE PRODUCTS THEY WERE SELLING. THEY BACKED IT UP WITH A GUARANTEE, BUT I NEVER SAW ANYTHING BETTER THAN MY OWN CARE OF THE LAWN. THEY WERE RECEPTIVE TO MY NEEDS, BUT THEY WERE EQUALLY UNDERSTANDING WHEN I SAID I WASN'T GOING TO USE THEM ANYMORE. I GUESS I WASN'T THE FIRST CUSTOMER WHO WASN'T SATISFIED.

THEY DO PRETTY DECENT WORK BUT THEY ARE REAL PESTS. THEY CALL ABOUT ONCE A MONTH TO DO SOMETHING EXTRA AND I DIDN'T WANT ALL OF THIS EXTRA STUFF. I SAID A "B" FOR QUALITY OF WORK BECAUSE I WAS SEEING SOME WEEDS. I HAVE CANCELLED THE SERVICE AND I AM GOING TO TRY AND DO IT MYSELF.

THEY'RE NOT BAD, BUT I DON'T THINK THAT THE LAWN SERVICES ARE THAT GOOD. I HAVE TO DO IT YEAR ROUND AND I'VE ONLY DONE ABOUT FOUR. I'M NOT THAT SATISFIED AND I'M NOT THAT BIG ON CHEMICALS.
