Showed up early, quickly figured out the problem with both rooms and fixed them. Very professional.

We had work done by Danhauer previously to install a kitchen garbage disposal. When we were having apparent electrical problems with it working correctly, we asked Stansbury Electric to come to fix the problems. They had been highly recommended. They came to the house promptly and discovered that the wiring had been done incorrectly on the disposal installation. In fact, it was a serious problem that was fixed. We were so pleased we called them back to install bathroon ventilation units, and that is referenced on a separate evaluation. I should add that Danhauer was difficult at first to deal with what we discovered, but later refunded us the amount required to re-mediate the problem after receiving the electrician's report on what he found.

Brad and Sean arrived at the time indicated and promptly assessed the job. They completed the work in a speedy and professional manner and even moved the furniture back into place as the light fixture was directly over the dining table. I can certainly recommend their services to others and plan to call them for any future electrical needs.

Stuart called before he arrived and was on time. He was very nice and professional. He explained the work he was doing. He worked quickly and cleaned up afterward. I like that they had a 1/2 hour minimum instead charging a full hour for 25 minutes of work. It was just a small job but the experience was good and I'll call Stansbury again when I need electrical work.

Very happy with the work. Workers were polite and efficient. Did a great job and also did a great clean up afterward. That with a great price with great quality made it a super deal. If I had any complaint it would be the electrician said he would get back to me to give estimate on small job at my Grand Daughters house in a couple weeks. But to be fair he is a very busy man!

Electricians were very professional, quite happy with them and the work they did. The only issue was the scheduler didn't call me to let me know when they'd arrive - everything else was fine.

This happened on Memorial day weekend called and talked with the owner Bruce explaining what was going on. With it being a holiday I was not sure if someone would be available but he had someone come out and he was there in about an hour. He look over the problem within 30 minutes he told me that LG&E had to come out and turn the power off from the house but instead of staying on the clock he told that he would be back the next morning and they will take care of calling LG&E to turn off the power. Sure enough Stuart gave me a call the next morning to call him once LG&E cut the power to my house and he would be on his way Bruce also called that morning to give me an update. Once I called Stuart back he was there within 30 minutes and was done in about 1 1/2. Stansbury Electric is one of the most professional companies I have dealt with when hiring a contractor. They also saved me bunch of money by not sitting on the clock which I greatly appreciate. Bruce and Stuart were very easy to deal with I think some other companies can learn some customer service skills from these guys.

Stuart and Brad were friendly and professional. Cleaned up great. Brad even adjusted my door on the way out!

Two young men in "uniform" slipped on booties at the door, arriving at exactly the appointed time. They had to go purchase a light for over my sink, as I had been sold the wrong type for the job, and other materials needed for my requests. Both guys worked the entire time, cleaned up, were pleasant and polite and a credit to the company. And to top it all, they had to work around a plumber who was here at the same time for the same amount of time! I will definitely use Stansbury Elec. anytime I need electrical work done. Oh, yes; I just happened to get the Angie's List Mag. the day before with a 10% coupon I was able to use. -

From the beginning, I really liked these guys. Bruce Stansbury, the owner gave us an estimate to have the work done. He was not the cheapest but we felt he was doing it right and not cutting corners. He was very responsive. It was a pretty extensive job and he was there for the hole thing. He had family plans the evening the power was to be turned back on and he kept calling me to make sure the electric company showed. I felt like Bruce was very honest, he did quality work and I would definitely use him again.

The guys worked very hard and efficiently! And was half the price of Allen electric

The technician arrived promptly and was very friendly and courteous. He reviewed the work requested and notified me about an issue with wiring. He explained to me what needed to be done. I was very impressed by his work and plan on having additional work done soon. I highly recommend Stansbury Electric.

Everything from scheduling to completion was great. Electricians (Shaun and Brad) arrived on time and reviewed the scope of work with me. They finished the requested repairs quickly and efficiently, and even showed me how the work in the attic was done so I can show our skylight installer what he needs. They were very respectful of our home, and our dog loves them. Highly recommend Stansbury electric. Will use their services again without hesitation.

He pulled out detector and saw wiring not correct. Also checked outlet. Tested with hair dryer and working fine. Problem corrected. This company has completed several projects for me as well and did a nice job. All technicians thorough, friendly and professional. They answered any and all questions about concerns. Phone calls are handled promptly. I am always very pleased and highly recommend Stansbury Electric.

We thought we had a minor electrical issue with a switch in our basement so the electrician expected it to be a quick job. Once he got started, he couldn't find the cause of our problem and our simple repair turned into a much bigger job. He was very thorough and professional, explained everything he was doing, and made sure everything was done correctly. He went above and beyond!

After experiencing our light flickering, LG&E had to disconnect our service due to an underground service line issue (my responsibility to repair). I called Stansbury Electric early the next morning (a Saturday), and Stewart was at our house by 10:30am. The line was located, dug, and repaired by 2:30. Later that evening, when LG&E had not come to reconnect the service in a timely manner, I called Mr. Stansbury who spurred them to almost immediate action. We had lights on by dark. The work was professionally done, and the charges reasonable considering it was the weekend. They came as promised, and performed in a workmanlike, professional manner. I highly recommend them.

Blake and Brad called to let me know they were on their way. They arrived at the scheduled time and went right to work. We had a problem with our lights not working in the sun room and Blake diagnosed the cause immediately and fixed the issue by rewiring the dimmer switch. He then checked our attic fan and found the issue to be with the motor. We decided to forego replacing the fan motor at this time. He also looked at installing pendents lights above our bar area but concluded that it wouldn't be possible due to the room being an enclosed porch with no attic space. Brad replaced 3 outdoor lights and made sure they were all working. These guys were excellent and knew their stuff as well as cleaning up after themselves.We were extremely pleased with the service and will definitely use them for any other electrical needs we may have!

It was a pleasure doing business with this family from the initial phone call, right through until completion. Bruce was very timely and informative during our initial meeting. Everything he explained to a layman and made sure I understood the work he did would only be within code, and provided me various options. When it came time to do the job, they were punctual, effecient and kept me informed on what they were doing at all times. They were extremely professional. I think the thing that stuck out with me most was the respect they all had for my home, my pets and me as a customer. I would be glad to recommend the Stansbury Electric family to my family and friends and will use them when my electrical needs arise in the future.

Estimated cost of work was reasonable and in line with other quotes we received. On the day we scheduled the work, Stuart and Sean arrived on time ready to go. We reviewed the scope of work and where certain fixtures would be placed. They worked quickly, efficiently, and were respectful of our home. They were both very friendly to our dog as well. When they encountered a few complications, both Stuart and Sean were able to explain what they found and how they were adjusting their work accordingly. The final bill was exactly as estimated. Electrition arrived on time. He asked for run through for services requested. Therafter summarized action plan and performed services. Reset switch box, corrected grounding in box, tested observed failed grounds from home inspection five years prior, then moved living room power from switch to outlet to a switch to ceiling light. Hung new light fixture. Offered to plug hole created to run ceiling wires to fixture. I declined to fix myself. Cleaned up after himself and was done. Very pleasent to have in our home and will use this service provider again.

Stewart arrived on time and was very cordial. I had had a bank of switches go out, yet the circuit breaker hadn't been tripped and there was still power going toward the switch box from under the floor. Stewart tried a lot of techniques to trace down the problem but nothing worked until he looked behind a bathroom door and discovered a tripped GFI. That was a real "duh" moment for me; our house is fairly new to us and I hadn't looked for a GFI behind the door. While tracing the problem, Stewart found some bad insulation in one of our old switches. His attempts to fix it failed, so he ran some new cable above the ceiling and tied the effected light to another switch, which will be far safer and more convenient for us. All in all, a very positive and rewarding experience. It was a pleasure to meet Stewart and to see his level of professionalism. We have a new "favorite electrician" now, someone we won't hesitate to recommend to others.
