They were hands on with their approach. They did excellent work. They followed up. There was one area that we wanted more application and they came back and did that for no charge. We were very happy. They make sure you are satisfied.

Great experience from estimate to installation to follow-up. Price was very fair and the floors look fantastic. Will be using them again for future projects.

They were good and professional. We did not use them because they were more expensive then others. It was reasonable but the others were 20 to 25 percent cheaper. Very detailed and informative. He knew his stuff.

The salesman came to our home to review our project. We had hardwood in one room which needed to be sanded and re-sealed, and we wanted to have more hardwood laid in other rooms. We opted for the Bona traffic for its durability. The materials were dropped off a few days before the installation; the delivery person tracked in a lot of mud that he brought with him from his previous delivery. Fortunately, that carpet was being replaced. The installers did a good job; they were here and finished in a day. The finishing team came in and did a good job sanding and staining. They arrived each day on time or early for the sealing activities. They acknowledged needing to do a couple of touch-ups and are supposed to return later this week to finish up.

Did not use River City. But the estimate process was an excellent one.

Overall it was a good experience. The owner came out and estimated the work. He followed up quickly with a detail estimate. It was scheduled fairly quickly. The workers and the delivery of the hardwood showed up as planned. It took slightly longer to complete the work than they had estimated but only by a day. It was a week-long job. It turned out well. We didn't have any problems with the workers or the workmanship. It was good overall.

Do order your materials from the company. We already had materials that we had planned to install ourselves, but simply ran out of time. We certainly did not have the experise required. Jack's team does. If I had to do it over again, I would have taken back the materials that I had already purchased and purchased flooring on Jack's recommendation.

I received several estimates/bids for what I needed done from others. Other companies shyed away from the job because my house is 100 yrs old so the foundation and subfloors are not ideal or perfect but River City was not hesitant at all. They were honest and upfront from the beginning letting me know that there may be additional costs if any additional leveling was needed.and they had experience doing older homes like mine. Within a few days I had a written estimate in the mail at which point I called to schedule the install and pay the deposit. The job was scheduled for about a week out and anticipated to take the full day to complete. On the day of install, they arrived on time in the morning and finished in about 5 hours to my pleasant surprise. I looked over the floors to make sure I was satisfied before they left. It has been about two months since with no issues to report (no buckling or loose boards). Very pleased and looking to hire them again for another project.

There is no story to tell except that they never even called me back.

The salesman from River City Flooring, Inc. came out four different colors of stains and showed us what it would look like. They talked to us about it. They were very informative about the process. It's not an easy process to do. You can't walk on the floor. They were very professional. It's an uncle and nephew team.

It was fine. Responsiveness was very good.

The entire process took about one week. Issues experienced; Floor boards actually began moving up and down Nails sticking up uneven finish in areas The owner came out and met with us and suggest we shim the boards from underneath (Thank goodness we have a basement) They came back out and re-set the nails but the employee was several hours late and did not have the finish we used previously They told us they would sand and re-surface. This was code for they will add another coat of finish and buff. Disappointed that the puddled finish is still present and there are a couple of boards left sticking up.

Their estimate was $2000 which seemed reasonable. We went with another company because the other salesman listened to our concern about price. The other company's owner showed up and gave a demonstration how we could save approximately $600 of labor. My husband spent the better part of a week hammering "thousands" of nails in order to save us money. This company didn't even give us an option of saving money.

Great company. They kept me up to date on the progress the whole way through. The finished product looked WONDERFUL!

I used River City Flooring Inc services for engineered hardwood. I think the prices were reasonable and the people that did the install did a very good job, so overall I am very satisfied. People can feel comfortable if River City Flooring Inc is going to provide the service that they quote and the prices are good.

The hardwood installed in the family room matched up with existing hardwood already in place in the kitchen, entry, and formal dining room. The match, fit, and finish we're perfect. They did a great job! After installing the steps to the basement, there were small gaps on the side walls in the corner of each step. It's was due to the way the builder built the steps. The gaps were covered by carpet. It was unsightly and in no way River City's fault. We asked that they help us fix the problem and fully expected to pay to fix it. It took a couple of weeks to figure out a solution. The problem was solved beautifully. River City declined to charge us for the work even though we told them we were willing to pay. They said they were the flooring experts and were taking responsibility for the problem. Customer care and service above and beyond. It is rare these days!!!

This was our second use of this company for hardwood floor services. Our hardwood floors and stairs were repaired (stair treads replaced from previous railing), sanded, stained and coated with polyurethane. Service was provided while we were also out of town; the service man met with us in our home to review the job before we were unavailable. The job was exceptionally completed, no mess left upon return home. Service worker kept us updated via text message while we were out of town and very effectively communicated with us when necessary. Highly recommend and will use again in the future.

Excellent. They were on time, they kept the place picked up while working and made sure it was cleaned before they left every day. This was a 5 day installment due to the wood floors were layed, then polyed.

Work started when promise and finished promptly.

We had originally shopped for new hardwood in the family room and kitchen areas. The sales rep in the store, Curt, was helpful and let us take several samples home to consider. He also came to our home for measurements and estimate. The installers were prompt, and finished within the time estimated. The floors are beautiful. Since we were happy with the floors, we had Curt come back and give us an estimate to do the stairs, too. The hardwood on the floors is cherry, and since stairs are somewhat high traffic, he suggested a more durable wood that they stained to match the floors. We were closing in on Thanksgiving. The stair installers were to arrive on Monday of Thanksgiving week, but he cancelled due to illness. Not to worry, they arranged for another installer (an Amish man and his son) who came the next day and worked until after dark to get the job done. What craftmanship. River City Flooring wasn't the cheapest, but not too far off, and you get quality work.
