Description of Work: "The technician who was supposed to do the actual job, was a 'no call / no show' all 3 times he was scheduled to come out. He would call me back when I called him and set a new date, but then did not show up or call again. After the 3rd consecutive time, I called the office and asked for my 50% deposit back. They did apologize and they did return my deposit promptly. I had, however, already used 2 vacation days for nothing.

Description of Work: i wasnt aware that they outsource the installation. It so happened that our installer was top notch, but I believe that should have been communicated up front. I also found some of their showroom prices quite high. I will say that they were extremely responsive.

Description of Work: We had our front entry hardwood floor sanded, stained and clear coated. The floor when complete was very well done and looked great! The communication was definitely not very good on how long it would take, when the job would start and end, the number of coats, the process used and how long we actually had to stay off the new floor. My wife had to juggle her work schedule at the last minute because the installer arrived late and he worked much longer during the day that we were told it would take. The job also started one day later than planned as the finisher had to finish another job. The work the finisher did was of high quality but if you choose River City, make sure you get everything detailed in writing on what they are going to do, how long it is going to take, how long will you have to stay off the floor, when they going to start/finish, how long are they going to work each day and then make sure you get what they committed to do.

Description of Work: Removed carpets from three rooms, installed hardwood, removed vinyl from kitchen and installed tile. They also moved all the furniture. | |It was a great experience. The two men doing the job were very quick, clean and very good at the installation. The job site was cleaned after each day and at the end of the job (3) days everything was cleaned again and left in perfect shape. | |Overall, it was as good a service as could be had. I would use them again without reservation.
