We spent a lot. Our house is all windows. They're the best. They have a really good quality of products. We have custom-sized windows so we went with them. They're good. It went very well. I don't have any problems with them. They're pretty reliable. They're on the expensive side.

They explained the warranty and how to operate the windows for cleaning.

A very professional outfit. Anderson windows are a fabulous product however we decided to be a bit more price driven and did not go with Renewal.

It went well. They came at the designated time and installed the windows which took a few hours. They were very nice and kept everything neat and clean. They did an excellent job. I will probably use them again in the future.

It was a good experience. What stood out about them are their professionalism, reliability and warranty.

Left garbage around, screens never checked and didn't fit. Numerous tries to replace screens, required me to constantly follow up on them and after many months of this, I just gave up. My grades of them may have been overly generous - biggest waste of $ ever done in my life.

I felt like the quote was a bit high. They came back with a nice president's discount to negotiate. I would prefer to have everything on the front end and not have to negotiate. I didn't feel like that was positive for the company. They were professional.

They were great and they did a great job. I thought they had a great work crew and their products were good and that their prices were competitive. Their communication and follow through were strong. I had some issue with them but they did a great job. I would recommend them to people.

It was discussed that the home visit would be scheduled for 11am.. Figured I would make it easy on them, instead of always scheduling the home visit on the weekends, especially since I was excited about the proposition of getting 72% off of some windows, which is what was stated in "The Big Deal" details. Sales Consultant showed up at 10:30 or so, and leaves his business card in the door. Granted the window measurements were taken for future reference, however, since I was on lunch and expected the sales rep to meet me at the house at 11am, I called the guy and he seemed "put out' that I actually wanted to meet with him at the scheduled time. He turned around and returned, however, when he got there, I will repeat what another member already mentioned, he seemed "aloof" and uninterested in being there. Not the best vibe for a sales rep to have. Then, after getting into the conversation a little, instead of wanting to show me any literature on the product he was going to be quoting, he tells me that I should come by their showroom to review the windows, which is a good suggestion, and I am glad we did on the following Saturday, however, we could and should have reviewed the material he had with him in his binder. Once we start discussing the process of getting this quote, I find out that he is not even going to be providing me with a quote that morning, rather, I would be receiving a quote by email (seemed odd, since all other providers have drawn up their quotes on the spot, but okay, if the price was right, I was good.. which did not turn out to be the case)... Nonetheless, the "Big Deal" seemed to be too good to pass up, so I looked past the home consultation, as odd as it seemed to go. He was there no more than 15 minutes total, before leaving (it felt like I was preventing him from going somewhere or something (lunch), who knows) So, I get the quote by mail, on time (see quoted material above), and I am sticker shocked completely. But fear not, I come equipped with "The Big Deal" which I later find out was completely worded incorrectly, because the deal does not, in fact, provide 72% off anything. The Deal is worded as being $84 for $300 worth of credit for windows. Which, there is absolutely no reference to, only being allowed to apply one coupon per window, rather it just states "$84 for $300 worth of windows - buy as many as you need" - "This offer includes: A $300 credit towards your order of new replacement windows" - Again, it states "Buy as many as you need"; So, the way, technically, at list price of $9894 for Double-hung Andersen windows, I would need to purchase "The Big Deal" coupon (qty: 33 times), spending $2,772 on a qty: 33 "Big Deal" coupons.. Which was completely fine by me, because, all of a sudden that ($) number seemed to be more inline with what I was expecting to pay for windows (including installation) already, maybe a few hundred ($) cheaper, which would have been a FANTASTIC Deal! However.... Upon, further investigation, I decided to follow up on that storeroom visit, finding the floor sales rep who visited my home there, and believe it or not, he didn't even remotely recognize me.. In fact I had to show him the quote he had provided, and even then I'm not sold that he remembered me after that.. = Aloof & Uninterested.. Honestly, I don't even think this guy wants to sell windows for a living, at least not to me, but again, I would have looked past that, were Andersen to have come through with "The Big Deal" as I had stated above. The guy tells me that he is not familiar with the deal being offered.. awesome.. then precedes to tell me about the current offer, which was $295 off each window, as reflected in the Payment of Cash, Check or Credit Card @ $851.38/window; Hey, they weren't lying, that is quite a bit off of the list price of $1,236.75/window.. Still.. Well outside an appropriate ($) price range for a standard window on ground floor. So I wanted to get some answers from somebody else within the company, besides my sales rep. I decided to call back and try to talk with the contact name and number of the person listed on the Angie's List Website, only to be redirected twice and then not have my phone call returned until a day later. When I did, finally, get a phone call back, the response from that person was related to this deal being Renewal by Andersen's first time listing of a "Big Deal", and that somehow, they were not able to word the deal correctly or review the proposed "Deal", before deciding to list it for sale to the Angie's List members. There were many holes in this offer, and ultimately, it sounds like they ended up deciding to refund most of these "Big Deal" coupons, as opposed to giving them "credit" towards windows as mentioned in the advertisement, and although it may have been a mistake to issue the "Big Deal" offering, they did not provide alternatives that were comparable to the rest of the market, even after having been confronted with these concerns and questions. They missed adding the limitations of this offer (such as, only offered once per window at list price) in the "Fine Print" of the offer, which is why I was sure that this was going to be a great deal on windows from a reputable company. Come to find out, I was wrong. Therefore, if you have read this far into this review, I would not suggest that you buy the "Big Deal", because it will probably just be refunded in the end anyway. I think that Andersen probably makes a good product, but the customer relations side of the business seems to need some attention.

I called and scheduled estimate. Vendor came on time and we discussed which windows and my options. He said he could provide lower estimate with company's current discount rather than Angie's List coupon. He suggested that I call or write to request a refund.

Prior to purchasing the deal, I contacted Renewal by Andersen to get more details. Since this was their first time offering the deal, they weren't really able to offer much additional Information. Once we purchased the deal, they contacted us for an appointment and showed up very promptly. However, we elected not to use the service as the price for 1 window was out of our price range.

After I purchased a $75.00 coupon for window replace by Andersen, Andersen located at 2551 Richmond Rd #4, Lexington, KY (859-271-1645) estimated the price for change a single window at my home on Sept. 10, 2013 and then told me on Sept 20 2013, it will cost $1880. They explained reason for the high cost is because they will use a high quality materials made window and they don't have any other cheap windows. I think it is too expensive than what I thought and also this type of window will not match to other windows. Therefore, I decided to not order their service. Sorry for this unexpected issue and I appreciate it if you would like to refund $75.00 to my credit card. Thank you for your great service.

The provider was professional, on time and courteous. Did not push me to buy "extras". Gave me great quotes.

Salesman was aloof. He asked to see which windows I wanted to replace, measured them (as if it was a hassle), and gave me an estimate without presenting me any less expensive alternatives; wanted over $7,500 for 6 32x16 windows, a large picture window and 2 adjacent hanging windows. Another company is doing the same job for less than a third of that.

The service was wonderful. We were very happy with their work. Thy were incredible. They talked with us and kept us informed throughout the whole process. They were extremely nice and professional. I thought the price was fair and they were just outstanding overall.

A guy came out and give me a high quote but I don't have anyone to compare it to. I didn't pursue on using their service because of the price.

We had narrowed it down to two companies and we got a bid for both companies. It was their promptness, it wasn't just the price that we chose them for. That between these two companies, they got back with us quicker. Their installers were excellent. They were here when they said they would be here. They cleaned up. They did a very nice job. The price was what we expected given the bids that we got. It was a very good experience.

We had new windows installed throughout our house. They look beautiful and have saved us lots on our electric bill. I was very impressed by the installers. They did the whole house in a day. I am particularly happy with the large picture windows that replace crank-out windows in the sunroom. They are beautiful and have transformed what was formerly basically a porch into living space. Our experience was totally positive. We are saving for a new entry door.

Anderson's serviceman arrived on time, took measurements and a section of the frame, indoor and outside, to match paint colors. This was done quickly with no hassles. We were told it would take six weeks for new window to arrive. The new window arrived on time and installed without incident. We could have had the window replaced for a little cheaper but Anderson's has a great reputation and we felt confident the job would be completed as directed. We will definitely call them when/if need arises in future.

Done in one day. No problems were incurred. When they took out old windows there was a beginning of a little water damage on the two by four on which the new windows would be resting in the front bedroom. We replaced the windows in time before any major damage was incurred. The old dining room windows were in better shape but needed repacement. Installers knew what they were doing; friendly; professional and did an excellent job. The house is warmer than before due to reduction of air leaks.

My experience with them began with the sales manager. I first called him and his name was Tim Helfrich. He was outstanding over the phone and he said he would be happy to come to my home to show me the products. He offered suggestions as to which products would be best for replacement of my current windows. He then invited me to the showroom and showed me the actual products. This gave me examples of all of the options. I liked being able to choose in-person my new windows and affirmed my decision to go with this company. I was able to view the products and they were well-explained. There are only a few companies that have this high-grade of quality window and I was satisfied with the price they charge in relation to the quality of windows and workers. The windows were ordered and I was given a date of installation. All Andersen windows are custom-built for your home so there is a wait time. This was not a problem for me as it makes them fit perfectly. The installation crew were extremely good. We have been renovating this home for about 12 years, little by little. This installation crew was the finest of any installation crew of anyone we have worked with. They were extremely courteous and professional. They answered my questions completely and I had no doubts of their knowledge. They take your old window out completely and then they replace with the new window. They finish up securing and caulking. The installation was very efficient and took only a couple of hours to put in 2-3 windows. I was also surprised at how great the windows look and nothing was compromised in my home. They did not damage anything or misplace it in my home. I never had to call back to have them out for any follow-up issues. Our home is older and there's a new federal requirement in place as of 2012. If there's a presence of lead paint when they were removing the original windows, they would have to test for it. All of the lead paint would then have to be removed in a federally-mandated way. The home had to have this done. It cost us a few hundred dollars and they came in haz-mat suits and draped the area properly. It was done so efficiently and so carefully performed, I knew they had been highly trained to complete this task. This was another way I was extremely impressed by the crew. At the time you order the windows, they will check your home for lead paint. This way they can come to the installation prepared.
