Description of Work: Renewal by Andersen has, over time, installed all new windows in our home, as well a new front door. We highly recommend them for all the reasons noted above in the rating section! The most recent visit to our home was to replace a window lock that had broken. They replaced it quickly and efficiently without any charge.

Description of Work: place all windows and two patio doors

Description of Work: They replaced three vinyl windows. They did good work. I had used them before, when I lived in a century old Arts and Crafts style bungalow in the Highlands and the custom built replacement windows they put in were wonderful.

Description of Work: Replaced a very large picture window and installed a custom French door screen door. We were very pleased with ask aspects if the experience.

Description of Work: We were very satisfied with a patio door installed by Renewal by Andersen last fall, so we decided to replace our front door this spring. We worked with Randy Milby in the Lexington office for both doors and are again quite pleased with the results. We now have a beautiful front door that is energy efficient.

Description of Work: Great company to work with. We would highly recommend them to anyone. Every one from salesman, office staff & installers were extremely professional. Nine windows & 5 basement windows installed in 1 day and done very well.

Description of Work: We had a one car garage door that we wanted replaced with a french door as well as a standard door. The Renewal representative helped us to select a door design that incorporated not only the door but side pieces which improved visibility. The work was performed as scheduled and the doors were installed so seamlessly that they look like they have always been there. The doors have also provided better insulation reducing my utility costs.

Description of Work: Last Work was done Nov 2012. Front door unit with side windows. Was very pleased with the end product and with the level of professionalism. They had previously installed replacement windows for the whole house in July 2011 - again very satisfied.

Description of Work: Anderson has been gradually replacing all the windows in our house. While things haven't always gone smoothly, the company makes sure any problems are fixed and customer is happy.

Description of Work: Never called until a month later and would not address window issue.

Description of Work: I had all of the windows in my 50 year old house replaced.

Description of Work: We had them put in windows in our living room. They are big windows, literally they replaced a whole wall of windows.

Description of Work: They had to take out the old windows and replace 6 large ones. They got rid of the debris also. They put insulation around all of them to seal them.

Description of Work: We had some damaged wood windows (3 casements and a 2 story great room picture window) replaced. The old windows were removed, down to the 2 x 4 studs, the new windows were installed, including interior wood moulding and exterior brick mould. All interior trim was replaced with moulding that matched the rest of our house, painted, and all gaps were sealed with caulk, inside and out.

Description of Work: We ordered ALL WOOD windows, since we are in a historic neighborhood that is all that we could replace our existing windows with on the front of our house. Tim Helfrich, salesperson/owners son knew that since he was familiar with our neighborhood and was familiar with the guidelines of the Landmarks Commission. He said we would have our windows in 4-6 weeks it took 12 weeks! What we got was NOT what was ordered! They sent us a wood composite/clad window-Anderson Woodwright. I felt it was a bait and switch-although Renewal by Anderson denies that. I believe they thought once we got the windows we would just be happy to put them in, we said no we want the wood windows which we ordered. They then went to Landmarks Commission to see if they would give us a variance, they also said NO. Now Renewal is stuck with custom windows that we would not accept. Cost of $9,000
