old wooden fence with termite damage was removed and hauled away. new fence posts were installed on the same day and the rest of the fence was installed the following work day went with black vinyl chain link to not worry about anymore termite damage. they did a great job and the price was $600.00 less than other 3 bidders. i would use them again

The whole process was very quick, from the sales call to the installation. I had gotten a couple of fence quotes last year, one from Raatz, but hadn't gotten the work done at that time. I called them again, the salesman came out and gave me a lower quote than I had gotten before because he said materials were a little cheaper now. They started the following week. The whole process took about 2-1/2 days - we have a pretty big yard. After they finished up I noticed that the wood pickets in the gate were kind of splintering in a few places and it didn't look very good. I would probably give them an A- because of that if I could. But they came out a few days later and fixed that.

I chose Raatz due to their reputation on Angie's list, and from the recommendation of a co-worker. I called for an estimate, and left a message, but did not hear back from them. I called a week later, and they apologized, and arranged for Greg to come out and give me an estimate. Greg was prompt and extremely professional. He came out, and we talked about options, and he e-mailed me the estimates (for 2 different kinds of fence) the next day. I chose to go with the 5' aluminum fence. It was more expensive than the other option, but it looks better, in my opinion. It was a special order style, so I knew it would take 2 weeks to get in. Greg knew I was in a hurry to get the fence installed, so he said they would install it the day after it arrived. I later realized that my small dog could fit through the bars of the fence, so I wanted to change my order. Unfortunately, the fence was custom order, and had already been manufactured. Greg said that they would install black welded wire along the fence, at no extra charge. The fence arrived a few days earlier than expected, and they installed it right away. It took an extra half day because there were a lot of rocks in the back yard that slowed the progress. It looks fantastic. I was worried about the look of the welded wire, but it is almost invisible. At a distance, you cannot see it. The black aluminum fence is really nice looking and top quality. I cannot say enough about how impressed I was with this company. I called another company and got an estimate (verbal) based on similar fence type/length, and Raatz's price was 10% less. I would absolutely use them again, and recommend them to others.

They did an excellent job. They came out when they said they would. They did the work on time. They did the job within the estimate. It was really cold when they came out and did the project. The entire job took about 4 days.

They are wonderful, very professional and knowledgeable. They are excellent to work with. They came when they said they were going to come and the price was very fair. They laid out the fence exactly the way I wanted it.

I emailed for an estimate (Sunday), they called Monday and came out a week later. I spoke with the rep and we discussed all the options for repair. A few days later I had an estimate mailed to me. I sent a deposit of half in and scheduled the repair for a week later. They sent someone to mark wires and such two days before scheduled repair, then called to see if they could come a day early. That was fine and two very nice young men came and worked for about 6 hours fixing the fence. They cleaned up and were professional.

We are very pleased with both our new fence and the installation job. Jimbo Schaffer came out and did our estimate, and he was a great help to us in making the decisions about what we wanted. A courteous and competent group of 3 men came on the agreed date to install our posts. Two days later, 2 other equally courteous men came to put up the rest of the fence, and they seemed very careful and skilled. Even though they followed our instructions about how we wanted the gate to open, we realized right after they left that we weren't going to be happy with it. We immediately called the office, who paged the men, and they turned their truck around and came back right away, to rework the gate to our liking. They were very nice about it, and they were able to make the gate look and operate just the way we wanted. Our new fence looks beautiful!

We have used them before and they do a good job. They are on time and always friendly. They make sure to explain everything to you and try to make the prices as reasonable as they can. It is a lot of work and they seem to have no problems plugging along. I am pleased.

I was given an estimate for the work. I selected their quote over a competitor. Once I paid the deposit I was put on the install schedule(about two weeks out). They called BUD (to mark the buried utility lines). The installers came out and reviewed their install instructions with me. They installed the posts that day. They came back two days later to install all of the fencing. The workers did a good job and I am happy with their work.

I THOUGH IT WAS VERY GOOD. THEY CAME PROMPTLY AND THEY CAME WHEN THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO BE THERE. THEY DID HIGH QUALITY WORK. THE PRICE WAS REASONABLE.

THEY WERE PROMPT, PRECISE, AND THEY GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE. IT WAS NICE, I FELT REALLY COMFORTABLE DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM. THEY DID MY NEIGHBOR'S FENCE AND HE WAS THE ONE WHO RECOMMENDED THEM. THEY WERE GOOD.

IT WAS A GOOD EXPERIENCE, I'D PROBABLY USE THEM AGAIN. THEY ANSWERED THE QUESTIONS THAT I HAD. THEY TOLD ME THEY'D USE A KIND OF WOOD FOR THE POST THAT WAS MORE RESISTANT TO TERMITES THAN THE WOOD USED IN THE PREVIOUS POST. I WAS HERE AND WATCHED THEM THE WHOLE TIME. THEY DID THE JOB THEY NEEDED TO DO.

IT WAS A PRETTY GOOD EXPERIENCE. THEY GOT THE JOB DONE QUICKLY. THE WORK WAS PROFESSIONAL AND THE WORKERS DID A REALLY GOOD JOB. OVERALL, IT WAS REALLY GOOD. WE WERE VERY SATISFIED. FOR THE AMOUNT OF WORK WE HAD DONE, I THINK THE PRICE WAS REASONABLE.

THEY WERE GREAT. THEY GAVE THE BEST PRICE, PROVIDED THE BEST QUALITY WORK AND BEST TIME. THEY GOT IT UP QUICKLY, IN JUST A DAY. THEY TOOK DOWN THE OLD FENCE FOR ME AND HAULED IT OFF.

IT WAS A FAMILY OPERATION AND WE FELT GOOD WITH THE LIST OF REFERENCES THAT THEY PROVIDED. WE FELT GOOD THAT WE WERE SUPPORTING A FAMILY. THEY SAID IT WOULD TAKE A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF TIME AND IT WAS DONE FASTER THAN THEY SAID. IT WAS ABOUT A THIRD OF THE PRICE OF MOST OTHER CHAINS.
