It went fine. They did it promptly and the price was fine. It wasn't a huge project; it was a one day project. They came out with their quote their and told me when they could get it done and I picked on based on the fact that quote and they could get it done sooner than the other company.

They removed my old chain link fence and installed a new white vinyl fence. They did an awesome job. They were wonderful to work with. Would definitely hire them again.

They were probably the first person that I used after I signed up on Angie's List. I was new in town, as I moved from Tennessee. I needed to have the fence, and so I went to Home Depot, and another place, and I found that these guys had a great recommendation on Angie's List, and they were cheaper. They were perfect, they did a great job. They gave me a nicer gate, then I expected them to, without any extra cost. I appreciated that.

They had a crew of two that finished the service in two days. I got two bids and they had been in business for around 17 years whereas the other company has only been around for 2 years which is why I went with them.

Installed 6' wood privacy fence. Very professional with quality work. The installers were very pleasant and prompt. Completion of job was done on time as expected. Would highly recommend this company.

I called Raatz fence in mid-March to have them quote me on a privacy fence along the back of my property. After a poor experience with another fence company on a recent project, I was looking for someone with a more professional approach. They came out a couple of days later to discuss this with me. We came up with a plan, and a design was emailed to me. The area to be fenced needed to be cleaned out of brush and limbs before work could commence, so this occupied my time on and off for the next couple of weeks. On April 2nd I signed the contract and paid the deposit (1/2 down). They indicated they were scheduling about two weeks out, and they planned to start on April 18th. Work actually began on April 16th. All the holes were dug and the posts (6 x 6) were set that day. Two days later, they returned and installed the actual fencing and were finished by mid-afternoon. I need to elaborate: My neighbor and I both hired this company so the work could be done jointly. Although we each worked independently on design and payment, work was performed as a single project. And although my section was only 75' long, the entire project was over 250' long. This entire project was completed in the timeframe listed above. I found this to be remarkable. The company was easy to work with and was accurate in their timing. Truly a professional outfit.

The crews from Raatz did a great job. They were friendly, professional and fast. The fence went up in two days without problems. I was very impressed with how they put up the single boards and made sure that it looks straight in a yard that is slanted. The bid was also the most affordable. I highly recommend them.

We used Raatz to install a privacy fence at our former residence and were happy so I called and made an appointment and then met with Mark. We were fencing in a huge yard (approximately 2 acres) at our new home with three board wire backed fencing. We have three dogs and it was very important to us that they could run freely and safely. We have an underground crude oil pipe that they had to give space around and they did that with no problem. The young gentlemen that were here the most were absolutely wonderful and friendly and extremely hard working. I knew their names but with all of my unpacking at this new house I unfortunately have forgotten them (sorry guys!). We own our own business and we would hire these hard workers for our own business! They ran into underground rock in the back of the property and had to jack hammer back there. This was in August and the days they were here were at least in the high 80's. When the fence was done I wanted to make some changes and add a fourth board to the gates and part of the fence. They took care of it right away. The fence looks awesome and the dogs are safe. We will be calling them back again to put up an enclosed kennel area for the occasional times the dogs need to be secured. We were extremely pleased with our experience!

I was pleased with their service. We got proposals from this company and one other. They were several thousand dollars less on the estimate than the second company. They did a great job with the work. The primary reason we chose them was because of the price but the sales person that came out was really professional, on time, and nice to work with. We chose this company because of their rating as well. The work went as he said it would. They were on time over the course of a couple of days, the work was of high quality, there was no hassle at all. We are very satisfied with the service.

One post not set correctly was swaying in wind. They promptly reset the post no problems since

We got quotes from three companies, and Raatz was on the low end and seemed the most professional. We had an old fence torn out and replaced with a new wood fence and gate in the front and back yards of our house. Services were provided within a week of getting the estimate, and took 3 days total. We are very happy with the job they did. My only complaint is that they drove a small tractor over our raspberry and strawberry patches to access our back yard, killing most of the plants in that bed.

Company initially lost the bid they had provided...as did I. When they could not find estimate, Casey said: "Let's go and I will write it up again" Casey followed me to the house and provided an estimate on the spot Approved the bid the same day as estimate and sent in check for half of estimate...told him to send me an experienced team Told them I had to have work completed by May 23rd...Casey said: We will work it into the schedule and have it completed Casey called to set up appointment for posts...5/15 and would install on 5/17; needed 48 hours for concrete to set JR and Tim, father/son team, came as scheduled and completed job in professional manner I almost went with another bid that was lower but was impressed that one of the owners would come out on short notice and provide the quote. Also, I know the firm has been in business and they can't afford not to provide quality service or their business will suffer. The installation team had the tools, skills and the know how to complete the job professionally and on time. I asked questions and they were willing to discuss each step of the way. I could not be happier with the job...and most of all my wife is satisfied! I would not hesitate to engage their services and unequivocably endorse the specific team that did such an outstanding job. They cleaned up well despite all the rain.

Good job overall - however they didn't let me know when the were finished to take a look at it even though I was home - they just left. They left lots of dirt and concrete all around the fence posts. One board wasn't secured. Had to call back and provide pictures. Someone came out promptly and fixed, although they said they would call before they had someone come out but never called- I just noticed it was taken care of. They took away all of the leftover dirt/concrete and laid down grass seed. Secured the loose board. Overall good job but would suggest more communication with the customer and better clean-up. Cost was very attractive.

From acceptance of their proposal to the beginning of the job took about three weeks. Once they had our survey the job was scheduled. When the installers left, every piece of cardboard, every string, box and plastic wrapper went with them (you'd never know they'd been there except for the beautiful fence!). The entire process was a great experience with Raatz. I had 3 ideas in mind for a fence and had all my dimensions. Jody was able to get me a preliminary quote back very quickly for all the options over the phone and email. Raatz was the only fence company I spoke to that could get the specific vinyl fence I wanted. Their prices were a little higher for a wood 3-rail horse fence compared to companies that specialize in horse fence, but their vinyl quote was very reasonable considering I had priced the fence material by itself through an out of state distributor I had found. They then sent out Greg for a formal quote when I tols them I was ready to proceed. He brought me a color sample I requested and arrived exactly at the appointment time. Upon material delivery to Raatz, they called to setup an install appointment. The crew of two, led by Donnie, arrived on schedule. They were very friendly and courteous. Donnie and I went through the layout and discussed details and they got to work. I noticed something I forgot to tell them and they were quick to accommodate and adapt. I had one section that we had to come up with a new plan since there were underground phone wires closer than I originally thought. They had a good idea and took the time to make sure the new setup met my intent ? and it did. The crew cleaned up extremely well and you could barely tell they did the work that day. They asked me where I wanted the dirt from the holes put, etc. It could not have gone any better or easier.

Very responsive. Returned call right away, set up estimate date and arrived on time. Good understanding and suggestions about what was required for job. Workers prompt and did excellent job.

They did an excellent job. The estimator came out within couple days and had a quote to me the same day as his visited. The quote was very reasonable so I did not get other bids. They could not come the day originally scheduled because of heavy rain but were here the next day. They did an excellent job, addressed any special request (so our dogs couldn't get out) and cleaned everything up. This is a quality company who takes customer satisfaction seriously.

We were very pleased with the whole process from start to finish. Everything was done to our satisfaction. I was really impressed with the clean up. I would highly recommend this company for your fencing needs.

During the installation, they were caught in a heavy rain which left the groung saturated and soft. The yard had muddie spots due to the equipment required. After the fence was completed, they sewed new grass seed in the damaged areas and covered with straw. I was very satisfied with the end result. The street name below should be Davinhurst Ct.

My very positive review reflects everyone else's - these guys are awesome. I'll add that I went out and got quotes from 3 other fence builders from Angie's list. The same simple fence job received a quote of $3,800 at the high end. Raatz came in at $2,100 and the next closest one was $2,900. The bredth of quotes amazed me. I'll add that the quality and speed of work were impressive. They removed a chainlink fence for me (at $150). While other quoting companies said they would remove the chainlink by cutting it with a sawzall, Raatz pulled ever post out of the ground- they really went the extra mile here.

I was very pleased with the result. The work was completed in a reasonable amount of time and the workers cleaned up the work area after finishing the job. I would recommend Raatz again, and if the work was masonry only, I would recommend Masonry and More.

Don't really have a story. Guy came to talke to me and measure and give estimate. WHen I said yes, they came out one day while I was at work and when I got home I HAD A FENCE. Wonderful.

We obtained multiple bids for a gate. Rattz was not only low bidder but they also had a better appreciation of what we wanted.Their promose installation date was right on target and they called us a day before they were coming. The installers actually arrived early and kept us in the loop as they were doing the installation to ensure we got waht we wanted. After the gate was finished we decided that we wanted to slow how fast the self-closing gate closed. One call to Raatz and they were out the next day to amke the adjustment.
