Precision Garage Door

I ended up getting a whole new door and everything so I guess it worked out alright. It’s strictly price matter so I don’t think there’s anything that they could do. The workers are fine.

I guess they did what they said they were going to do. They were here, gone, and I didn't speak much with them. They put their stickers all over my garage. They did get garage door hinges going great, but they didn't do much to the power door. The gizmo that brings the door up and down, they did not oil that at all. I ended up buying a can of my own stuff at the store, spraying it, and it started working better. It ran smooth again. I'm not going to have them out here again, and they did come right out. They were out within the hour. The door still had a jerk to it, and they didn't fix the part that makes the door go up and down, that was a disappointment.

I purchased the Precision Garage Door Tune-up Deal. I had not used either garage door for a couple years and knew that additional work needed to be done, but figured that I would get an estimate while he completed the tune-up. Turns out Brett did such a great job explaining what needed to be done that we asked him to complete the required maintenance on one door and provide us with a new motor for the other. He had everything completed within a couple of hours. The new motor is extremely quiet, 2 great new keypads and remotes, and a great product warranty. I am extremely satisfied.

This was an Angie's List special deal, and it turned out to be a great value. The equipment provided was good quality, the professionalism of the installer was top notch, and the job got done quickly and as advertised. I was impressed and would recommend this company without reservation.

The tech arrived late but within his window of time due to problems with his truck. He replaced the malfunctioning keypad and checked it out, allowed me to enter an access code, rechecked door function, checked and lubed the moving parts and the spring, and recommended that I replace the rollers at some time because they're getting worn (after all these years!) and will increase friction and hinder ease of opening. The whole experience went well and was done quickly - no problems at all.

Came on time for an estimate, which was much better than from other company. The door was ordered, came as promised and the next day the company arrived and changed the door. They were fast and professional. Great value.

The technician was prompt and knowledgeable and friendly. Unfortunately the woman that called us to schecule the appointment was not as knowledgeable. She asked what size the garage door was and what the rollers were made of but did not ask what the door was made of (fiberglass) or how old it might be (ancient) . If she had asked I would've known that he would be unable to provide the service. The newer more quiet rollers were too big to fit in the tracks, so he oiled the chain and rollers and apologized.

Everything went fine and I was pleased. I would use these people again.

This was for a rental property and the renters have not called to complain about anything. They put a spring on and adjusted it.

The two year old ones installed when the house was built 2 years ago were unacceptably noisy. Expected they would need replaced for me to be satisfied and I was correct. The service provider had replacement motors on his truck that day. The brand he had on his truck wasn't a name I was familiar with but he told me he could order the name brand I wanted. Gave me information on the motors he had with him. Great sounding product, slightly cheaper, and great warranty. I went with the ones he had. He installed them on the spot and in less than 2 hours I had the most quiet garage doors I have EVER heard. Still thrilled almost 4 months later. Have been known to put them up and down unnecessarily just to marvel at the quiet.

I called Precision Door regarding their coupon offerings and decided that the PDS would be a good choice. I explained that my current garage door opener that I have had for 17 years had pulled away from the wall. They came out that day and installed the garage door opener. They were professional in installing the opener and in explaining the operation. When it came to programming the homelink in my car, the installer pushed too h****** the small plastic button and broke it off, then blamed me for breaking it .It appeared that he did not want to take responsibility for breaking it. I was not pleased. We then programmed the homelink on a separate button. The price was the $345 quoted in the coupon, but was actually $488 minus $143 to get the $345 price-not the $769 value identified in the coupon. It was still a good price for what I received with a belt driven device which is good and quiet. $25 was charged for installing the 2x4 pad needed to install the railing, since the previous pad had been ripped from the wall.

We lost several electrical items due to a surge from a thunderstorm including our two garage door openers. We called precision and they came out the same day and diagnosed the problem. Both motherboards had been damaged. Therefore they offered us an estimate to replace the motherboards as well as the cost to replace the openers with belt driven ones. Since our openers were over 10 years old, and the new ones carried a warranty on the belts and motors, we went with the replacements. The new openers are much more efficient and quiet than what we had previously. In addition, everyone that we interacted with from Precision were both courteous and prompt. They were very empathetic to our situation and I would definitely use them again.

I called Precision on Sunday when my garage door refused to open. Precision advertised that it provided service every day of the week and so we scheduled a repair technician for Sunday afternoon with a 400 to 600 PM window. I was pleased to hear from the technician that he had finished early on the call before mine and could come to my house even earlier than planned. As it turned out our door spring was broken--so we needed to replace that but not the opener itself. The technician replaced the spring and upgraded the rollers after explaining all the potential work to me and getting my approval. He got everything fixed in short order and we got our garage door back operating properly again.

It went great! he was prompt and called before hecame. I was very pleased with what he did.

Our technician was Brett Schultheis from Precision Garage Door. He was on time, very pleasant and easy to work with. He completed the job in less than 3 hours. One spring had broken and the opener was the original one when we bought the house. Brett took the time to completely explained our options, as I thought a new opener that I purchased on Angie's List would fix the problem. After he explained the spring was the problem and could have been fixed with just new springs, we chose to have the entire system replaced. We were extremely pleased at the quickness and efficiency of the unit. It is so quiet you can hardly tell it is raising or lowering. I would highly recommend this unit and this company.

Got the appointment for the next day. Got the email confirmation in minutes. They arrived on time, explained the situation and the solution. Work fast and fully explained what they are doing and why. Fully professional service. The invoice arrived by email extremely fast.

Zack solved all the problems and gave me the convenience I wanted in my garage entry.
