Precision Garage Door

Our garage door needed some repairs. Communication via phone was easy and direct. They came when they said they would. The best part was the technician Tommy. He knows what he is talking about when it comes to garage doors. I trusted what he told me and I trusted his work. The garage door works perfect now and is much much less noisy. I personally own a service business as well and know good service when I experience it and this firm provided great service. If I ever need any garage door service in the future I will call this company again and request Tommy if available.

Precision Garage came and did a full garage door over haul including a new door opener. I was given a two hour window for service and was even called during that timeframe to let me know when they would be here exactly. The service technicians Brent and his helper were knowledgeable, proficient, and personable. Their work was top notch. The work was done quickly, and well. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Tommy was our installer, he called a few minutes ahead giving me time to get home from work which worked out great. he arrived 5 min after I pulled in. After the inspection he found a few more issues that were at the point of failure we had yet to notice, one of which could have been potently very dangerous. We did spend almost twice what we originally called for but in the end fixed 2 additional issues so not to bad. service was done in 1hr and looks good, I feel confident about the quality of the parts and install. Tommy was very good, seemed to know what he was talking about and explained everything as we went which made me feel better about the install but also found what troubles areas to watch for. I will use them next time I need any services.

The technician spent about half of an hour to an hour on the service. He replaced the wheels that’s go in the track after he diagnosed that they had worn out. The work was okay and I have no complaints with the service.

I received a follow-up call from the service provider, seeking to understand "what went wrong". We agreed that at a future time they would be considered for my garage door tune-up, repair, etc.

The man who serviced my garage from the Angie's list deal was very friendly and professional. He knew a lot about garage door openers. I learned a lot. I did not feel like I needed the upsale for other services.

The service technician arrived on time, performed the promised inspection, lubricating and roller replacement of the door. He did tell me we would be needing a new coil sometime in the future given its age. He made an adjustment to the rails to back the door off of the upper rubber sweep as it was scraping the garage door every time I opened or closed it. He completed everything in just over an hour. I am satisfied so far.

It was fine. I wasn't so sure whether I was gonna get either remote keypad or rollers and I ended up going for remote keypad and he also did the rollers to make sure everything was working good.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that we purchased. It went great. We did a lifetime guarantee on the work. We spent an additional $500. He was great and very personable. He explained everything and went over all the stuff that needed to be done.

The tech (Tommy) was very friendly, took time to answer questions, and cleaned up after himself. The door used to squeak so bad it wasn't funny. The squeak was taken care of, he lubricated all the moving parts of the door assembly, checked the opener, told me about the spring tension and life expectancy. There was no sales pitch or effort to get me to buy additional services. He did "fail" my door spring and told me to call when I was ready to get it replaced. Very positive experience.

I did not choose to have Precision Door to install and a new opener due to estimated costs were more than I could afford.

I was provided a window between 4 pm and 6 pm for the repairman to be at the property. I requested a call to notify me when he was in route so I could meet him. He called about 3:45 pm and informed me could be there in 15 minutes. Once I arrived, he observed the broken spring and provided an estimate to repair which I considered fair and reasonable. He also pointed out several other maintenance issues that would need to be addressed at some point. He mentioned that he had the necessary parts if I would like for him to take care of the maintenance while he was there, as well as the spring. There was no pressure, just a candid assessment that I appreciated. We were able to identify from a attached sticker from a previous service that it had been about 12 years since the door had been serviced. I gave him the OK to proceed with the the maintenance and he essentially replaced every moving part on the door including cables. Once complete, the door operated like a new one including a dramatic reduction in the noise when the door was raised or lowered.

Seemed a little pricey, but never previously having had any garage door repairs, it is hard to be sure. Work was done timely and thoroughly.

Colin showed up well within the scheduled 2-hour window, and was very professional. He performed a completed tune up of my garage door, which included balancing and greasing down the bearings, chain, etc. Afterwards, it sounds like a brand new garage door! It is 75% quieter than before. I would not hesitate to do business with these guys again.
