Description of Work: They replaced windows and repaired patio doors. they were timely and professional.

Description of Work: When we got our Pella windows we actually worked through the store in Lexington,KY. The saleman was very professional, responsive, and knowlegeable from the very beginning. We compared Pella, Marvin, and Anderson. The TV brands where substandard and vinyl. Did a lot of research and visited several stores to view windows. Taking all things into consideration; construction (we wanted wood windows with aluminum clad exterior; like the look of wood interiors),quality, style, colors,and installation (done by Pella not subcontracted out), and of course price, we decicided on Pella. The installation went well, the windows look great, we are very satisfied. We had 26 large double hung windows replaced, including a large bay window with side windows that crank out. When the weather got colder we noticed what we thought was a slight draft around a couple of the windows. The Louisville store sent a man out and her remove the window casings and added more foam insulation, even checked most of the remaining windows for approriate amounts of insulation all was well. It has been 4 years since installation and we would definently recommend Pella windows.

Description of Work: This was the second time I used Pella. The first time was 6 window replacements. They came out of Lexington and I was very pleased. The second time they came from Louisville. I thought I was getting the same people, but that was not true. It was for a picture window. They brought the wrong trim color, were sloppy about fitting the metal and didn't want to fix it.

Description of Work: They installed windows in my sunroom addition. Love these windows with built in blinds and screens. Workers were professional, left area clean each day, always on time. Would definitely recommend this company.

Description of Work: Pella Windows & Doors installed 9 windows and one sliding patio door. They also disposed of my old door.

Description of Work: I am completing this report in 09/2009. The actual work was completed over 2 years ago. We are extremely satisfied with these windows. The company also has an excellent financing plan if needed. We had 27 of our 29 windows installed. Many had different measurements. They were all wood clad interior and aluminum exterior windows in a premium color choice. This price also includes the full window screens. The windows are maintenance free with a warranty The job was finished in 2 days by Pella professional installers. New insulation was placed in the walls where the complete window frames and windows were removed. All the exterior aluminum trim was cut on site. All but 2 of our windows were completely replaced so this job included the framing and the windows. Only the 2 bathroom windows were windows only because those frames included a marble shelf which we wanted to keep. All windows were perfectly measured and fit perfectly also. In the spring of 2008 my daughter had an original patio door replaced with the Wood Clad interior and aluminum exterior with the blinds inside the windows. This feature is extremely handy if your family has pets and/or children. She also had an excellent experience with this company. She took advantage of a special price advertised discount. She paid approximately $3000 for a $5,000 dollar patio door by waiting for a special sale. Another son, this past spring of 2009 had a patio door replaced with an excellent quality vinyl with the interior blinds and interior wood trim. This door replacement cost approximately 1600 dollars. The company did not have the right outside lock for the door, but this problem was resolved. Member Comments: We are very happy with this company and as you can tell did not hesitate to recommend Pella products to our children. Pella employes were very professional and as a previous report noted," the product may be more expensive, ,but we have an attractive and well insulated windows.". As another report says, "If you want a good quality window you have to go with this company." Take your time and wait for some of their sale prices. We have had many compliments about the beauty and function of these windows. We have also noticed a big reduction in the utility bill for our 2,600 square foot home.
