LOWE'S

Description of Work: They installed a new vanity in a bathroom and a new garbage disposal in the kitchen sink. They also delivered a new refrigerator.

Description of Work: Don't shop for a door at Lowe's. DO NOT. Bad experience. Bought the door & the installation in Oct 2010. Paid for everything up front. Lowe's did not schedule the initial installation of the door until Dec 2010. The vendor they use is Tennessee Millworks. The first door arrives & the door frame had a crack in it & the mfr. tried to fill it in with wood filler & then paint over the repair. The installer, of whom is a sub-contractor, spotted the damage and brought it to my attention. So, I refused the door & frame. The second door doesn't arrive until the week of Christmas. THE SECOND DOOR, FROM THE SAME MFR, WAS AGAIN DEFECTIVE!!! The door frame was again damaged & they tried to paint over it & pass it off yet again. The door frame & door were black & the frame had flat black & glossy black where they tried to paint over the rivets. It is now mid January & I still do not have a door frame & they're ordering yet a 3rd frame. The only reason I'm hanging in there is that Lowe's is offering to take 1/2 off of the door. I've missed two 1/2 days of work waiting on the frame & installation.
