Description of Work: The arborist they sent out was absolutely knowledgeable but the proposed costs were outrageous. I did expect to be in the $2-3K range but to cut down three trees (no removal, just felling,) grind the stumps and cut the dead out of the canopies of around 7 trees close to our home the quote came back at $13,800. This, after I told the gentleman the $4,500 he ball-parked on site (he said a three-man team for two full days would be required) was too much and that I did not see me spending that much for the service. Also, they charge $100 just to come estimate. Just an FYI.

Description of Work: Pruned one Maple tree in backyard, which had not been pruned in several years. They did a great job! Cleared out water sprouts and took off lower limbs and limbs impinging on neighbor's property. I still have shade where I need it. Took extra care to remove items under the tree first and also cleaned up well after they were done. Estimate $325 right on target and will definitely use them again.

Description of Work: This is complicated... They had some trouble communicating among themselves as to what they were going to do on my property. After they were done removing a few small trees and limbs I mentioned that there was still a big dangerous limb hanging down above my yard. They said it was too dangerous for them to do -- I needed to involve my (unresponsive) neighbor and the city arborist -- too much work for me -- the limb is still hanging up there (though they did adjust the price)

Description of Work: As soon as I bought the Angie coupon I recvd a phone call from someone in their office making an appointment w/me for a person to come out and see what I wanted done. Stephan came out, discussed, mainly, with one of my son's, what we wanted to accomplish. It all sounded good and when we r ready I will call and schedule work to be done.

Description of Work: THESE GUYS ARE EXCELLENT!!! I had three guys show up on time and within an hour they had taken down 4 trees (one was at least 28 inches around, the other 3 a little smaller) . Two took down the 4 trees and shredded everthing, while the third guy set up his rig and went up a tree I was having limbs trimed out of 60 feet up. it was amazing to watch how fast he could go up that tree. They took excellent safety precautions. When they were done they raked up any left over small branches and leaves. I know I'm going to need more tree work in the future and Limbwalker will be the service I call.
