I was nervous at first to cover all the exsisting wood trim on our house with vinyl because I didn't want our classic looking brick home to look "cheesy" but the results are amazing. We were originally quoted about 2 and a half weeks to get the trim and soffets around the entire house covered and get new gutters installed. Work took about 5 weeks when all said and done. But looking back on the project I don't think there is any way this could have been completed any quicker. Darryl worked slowly but was maticulous. He would bend the vinyl and made it look like crown molding instead of just slapping it straight on the house. He is careful and seems to take great pride in his work. Looking at our home you'd have no idea it was vinyl unless you went up and touched it. Any questions we had were answered quickly and Kevin worked with any changes that we wanted to make without any issue. The quote we received at the beginning was just slightly higher than other companies in the area but I am so happy we went with Mr. Thompson's company. The quality of the end result is just fantastic.

I had some fasica that was damaged during the storms that hit Oldham County over labor day weekend. I used Angie's list to find someone that did siding repair. I decided to call Kevin Thompson because of all the great reviews his company received on Angie's list. I called him on 9/4 in the late afternoon and left a voice mail. I received no call back from him so I called him late afternoon on 9/5 and got a hold of him. He said he would come over the next day on 9/6 (friday) to look at where my fascia was damaged and give me an estimate by phone as I was at work. I never received a call. On Monday 9/9, I called him again and asked him if he had come by. He said he did not but would come over mid morning tuesday to look at the damage and call me by phone to give an estimate. That was a week ago and I never heard from him. This kind of treatment is unprofessional and totally unacceptable. The funny thing was that both times we spoke on the phone he asked me where I heard about his company and I told him Angie's list both times. You would think that he would not want to completely ignore a customer who is an Angie's list member because I could write a negative review about him. If you were too busy to do the job, then just say so. If the job is small where you would not make much profit off of it, then tell me. I talked to several other siding companies that told me that very thing and that they only do total house jobs and not repairs. I was not happy with that but I do appreciate the honesty and not wasting my time.

The men were very knowledgeable and worked to make everything look good. They took the time needed to do a good job. I would use them again and would recommend Kevin Thompson.

Everything went great with this provider. He was right on time when we scheduled him to come out for an estimate. We thought his estimate was a great price and extremely fair. We called just a few days later for him to schedule us. He told us he was a few weeks out. Three weeks later they came out and did a tremendous job. His guys were very polite and on time. Very happy with the entire process. Price, communication, punctuality, etc.... everything. Would definitely call again.

Overall did an excellent job. There seem to be a bit of a communication error regarding installation expectations, BUT I would definitely use this company again for my next window replacement job.

Great! We still look at our home and comment on how much better it looks because of the siding. Kevin was great to work with in getting ready, and the workers did an excellent job in their work!

My gutters have been overflowing despite being clean. I had had Kevin install gutters at my previous home, so I had him come out and inspect. He discovered that the covers were misaligned so that they were effectively sealed shut. He adjusted them all and didn't charge a dime. Kevin could have easily tried to sell me new gutters and/or gutter covers (as I'm sure some contractors would have done). Instead, he did the right thing and saved me a ton of money. One more note: I left a message on Friday. When Kevin called on Monday--the next business day--he apologized for not calling back sooner. And he came out the next morning. You can't ask for faster service!

If I could rate Kevin's services higher than an A I would. Kevin is an outstanding home contractor, and I would know having been married to a painting contractor for 20 years. My home is not for novices, it is approximately 90+ years old, a Cape Cod Victorian with 3 dormers, and large windows everywhere. I have lived in the home for 15 years and methodically worked to restore it, working mainly on the interior. I had the gutters replaced once, had terrible covers installed, and was convinced no one could install a decent guttering system with the type of gabled roof I have. I contacted Kevin one afternoon after searching Angie's List for a siding contractor. Kevin came out the next day and succeeded in de-mystifying how vinyl siding is applied, especially the part about what happens around windows, light fixtures, facets, and electrical outlets. He also promised to hide all the existing wiring...of which there was a lot between cable, phone and electrical. I had talked to 2 other contractors who made the job sound like a nightmare, and convinced me there would be a lot of "repair" work once they removed the old siding. I hired Kevin on the spot and knew I had my man. I had been working with a roofing contractor, actually 2, because I was working on an insurance claim covering a new roof (not the upgraded one I put on but the $$ helped me replace with it with a high end roof) and new siding. The day after I hired Kevin to perform the vinyl siding, I met with the roofing contractor I was working with. He was nothing like Kevin and I realized I wanted Kevin. I walked into the house, called Kevin---and he had a crew working on my roof tear off the following Monday. I was so pleased that I finally had the work going, that I decided now would be a good time to replace some windows on the back of the house where weather did a number on the old wood. Again, Kevin was there with recommendations, a sample, and a very reasonable price. As I write this I contemplate having him replace one more... The roofing crew was professional, although there was a language barrier. They were extremely efficient, hand nailed the shingles on, cleaned up every night, used a magnet to find nails in mine and my neighbors drive way, and got it done faster than I expected. Again I stress, I have a difficult roof. We have since had torrential rains and there is not a leak to be found. The siding, guttering, and window folks, lead by Tommy, were OUTSTANDING, true craftsmen who reassured me every step of the way the job would be done, done right, and that there would be nothing they could not handle...in other words nothing like the previous contractors who talked doom and gloom. My house is cool, has unusual lines, and I appreciated that they saw it as a challenge and that they were as excited as I was at how it came out! The final stage of the project was my mortgage company giving me back the money the insurance company gave me to get the work done. Tricky thing these days post-Katrina?you essentially have to pay up front, turn the insurance check over to the mortgage company, and then have their assessor out to evaluate the work to get it back. When the assessor arrived he spend 45 minutes telling me what a great job it was as he had seen in at 40% done and was blown away at how great a siding job Tommy and boys had done. Bottom-line. I would recommend Kevin Thompson in a heart-beat and will look to him for any exterior work from now on-he's the man!

I had made contact with other Angie's list providers but Kevin stood out above the rest. He returned my call quickly to make an appointment, which he arrived as scheduled. He did the needed measurement's and gave me suggestions to make the job more complete than I imagined it to be. He gave me a price with in minutes and the deal was done. I knew after speaking with him and his explanation of his companies history and the job process, I would give him the job if the price was inline, which it was. He furnished a written estimate that covered all we discussed and gave me a time frame for the work to start. He called a few days earlier than expected, which was good with me and started the job. Two guys took a couple of days to complete the job due to dodging rain but they kept informed on their plans. By the end of the job they had everything cleaned and nothing was left as a reminder of their work accept the work. Kevin stopped by as the job was completed and checked everything to see if the guys had fulfilled our agreement and that I was satisfied. As far as having a contractor do work on my property, Kevin and his crew are top drawer. From the beginning meeting with Kevin thru the install to completion it was a good homeowner experience. I would call Kevin in the future if need be and give a positive recommendation for his work effort and employee's skill.

Kevin was on time for the estimate. I asked for them to leave the existing downspouts to save money and he did not have a problem with that. His crew was ontime for the install and were very polite. The job was done in one day and looks good. It is pouring down rain right now and I have been outside to inspect. There are no leaks,sags, overflow and no water dripping behind the gutter.

This debacle has finally ended and Kevin did the right thing and decided not to charge me for the extension work that basically was caused by his crew not assessing the situation correctly before they started. I am sure Kevin has taken the bull by the horns and had a talk with his installers that you just can't throw up vinyl when you have to match old with new. If it won't look right then tell the customer and suggest what needs to be done so it will look right. Don't say you are finished with a big gap in the work. Overall I am now satisfied, he treated the whole situation professionally and although I may be an idio but I probably would use him again as long as he has had a long discussion with his crew. So I changed my grade to a B but kudos to him for making it right and not charging to correct it.

Kevin was wonderful to work with. Liked his honesty from the beginning. From the beginning he explained to me that he was about 2 months out from being able to fix the siding and gutters on my house, but was able to give me an estimate right away. He was the only one that I received an estimate from to realize that I actually had 2 different sidings on the house. (we have been in this house for 15 years and never new that) I had some health issues and he was very willing to work with me about when I was able for them to place the siding. He had already ordered the siding and replaced the gutters, but I needed 3 extra months to recoup and he was very accommodating in waiting until I was ready. Before he put the siding up he took a last look at what needed to be replaced and there was rotten wood around the chimney and he explained to me it was my decision to fix it and the appox. cost would be, but he would not know until they took the actual siding off. When his crew came to place the siding, he sent me a picture of the rotten wood and the cost and it was very reasonable. We fixed it. Also the crew was very nice and did a wonderful job. The siding and gutters look amazing. It looked so good I know want him to do the whole house. I had someone else do the roof, but if I would have know than about Kevin I would have had him do the roof to. You can not go wrong with hiring him. He is an honest, businessman and those are hard to find these days.

Kevin's crew replaced siding around my chimney and a small section above the garage. It was a relatively small job (about 1/2 day) and he was able to work it in much faster than I had expected. He was very professional. Provided a prompt estimate and his crew was courteous and friendly.

he installed the gutter guards as well as tightened up some of the gutters that were comming loose. I was not even able to tell he had been there, except to see the installed product. Very professional, trustworthy and I highly recommend him.

I had called Kevin Thompson to get an estimate for some small gutter repairs. When he came by, he saw he job was small so he went ahead and did the work right away. Mr. Thompson was very professional and easy to deal with. I would definitely work with Mr. Thompson again if I ever need any gutter or siding work in the future.

The workers arrived on time and completed their work efficiently. They were polite and conscientious. My air conditioning system had a crazy configuration which had refrigerant line that ran along the roofline which was accidentally damaged during the work. This could have happened to anyone but not everyone would have taken the ownership Mr. Thompson did. He personally came to my home 3 times in 2 days to identify the issue and brought a crew after hours to remove and then replace roofing that had to be taken up for the heating and air technician who did the repair. Mr. Thompson promised that any damage his workers did would be taken care of and it was as quickly as possible. I was only without air overnight thanks to Mr. Thompson's commitment to excellence. Prudential heating and air also was there the same day I sent an email before opening hours. This all in the July heat! Since they were going to be there for other work I chose to have storm doors added. To save money I chose not to have the framing replaced for a pre-hung door. They were installed and adjusted to my satisfaction. An small unavoidable gap is at each door but the construction foreman told me how to get some weather stripping to take care of it myself. I will use this company again! The work was top-notch but more than that they truly proved their work ethics and care by their responsiveness in a difficult situation.

I had a few issues with the install of our gutters and the process for getting the job completed. After discussing the issues with Kevin it was apparent that there were a few communication issues that came into play. In either case, Kevin came out quickly and fixed the issues. The mark of a good company is not determined by if they make a mistake. The truth is, every business will make mistakes. It is how they are corrected. He did correct the issue and went out of his way to make it right. I am very pleased with the work and will use them again in the future.

Went extremely well. Delt directly with the owner/contractor Kevin Thompson. He was very knowledgable about the products and installation. Given the fact that thousands of houses were extensively damaged from the storm and products where going to be in short supply, etc. he provided us with excellent service. He got our roofs replaced immediately with the recommended shingles to prevent water damage. Given the tremendous demand from all contractors for materials he was able to replace the siding, doors, etc. in a timely manner. Although this was covered by my homeowners insurance he didn't push me for payment. I payed him as he finished each project. He never asked for a down payment or money ahead of schedule. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing home repairs/ replacements. A very nice man who is extremely easy to work with.

Dormer leak detected on June 16, 2012. Appointment with Kevin June 27, 2012 Work completed on July 19, 2012 Non-Emergency Four different contractors reviewed the leak area. Kevin Thompson oulined the least invasive solution. The work was set to be completed in a few weeks due to his heavy work volume and the leak was not an emergency.

The entire process went very well. Kevin responded quickly to my request for an estimate and was very helpful and patient with me as I assessed the available options for the materials to be used. We reached an agreement within a week of my first contact with him. Prior to our agreement, Kevin made it clear that it would be a few weeks before the work could begin (because of other projects to which he had already committed.) The work began a few weeks later and was completed in about 10 days. Because it was done during a period of oppressive heat in which the temperature exceeded 100 degrees on most days, I suspect that the work took longer than usual. It would not have been safe to work full days under those conditions. I am very pleased with the outcome of the project, which fully met my expectations. Everything looks great, and I now have much less maintenance to perform. Due to our conflicting work schedules, I was not present during the times in which the work was performed. Thus, I regret that I was not able to meet or personally thank the workers for doing such a great job. I hope they know how much I appreciate their efforts.

It took several days for Kevin to come give an estimate because his company was so swamped with business from a recent hail storm in our area. This was not out of the ordinary as we had the same experience with two other estimators. It then took three weeks to get the work done. In order to keep us from having to wait even longer, Kevin sent his crew to do our job on a Sat/Sun, days on which they usually don't schedule jobs. The two-man crew worked very hard for two days and got the job done right. They replaced all of the rotted wood backing, installed drip edging, guttering, and down spouts. Our new gutters look great, and we would hire this company again without hesitation when we need roofing or other work.

Overall, They were very professional and did a good job.
