We were not disappointed. We received a very good estimate for theair conditioner and a 92% efficient furnace. ( The brand we chose was highly recommended for lower repair costs on the Consumer Reports website.) Mark Buehner did not pressure us to accept the offer in any manner. He gave us information about the products and gave us 30 days to accept or decline. We accepted the estimate. Mark Buehner supervised the installation by his courteous and experienced technicians. The total time was approximately 4 hours. Mark Buehner arranged for the required inspection. He will also return in the spring for a complimentary check up of both the air conditioner and the furnace. We highly recommend this local contractor and the products they use.

When I realized that the A/C wasn't working at my mother's house and it was 95 degrees INSIDE, I called her and asked who she used for A/C work. She said she'd used Ken Buehner & Son for years and was very happy with them. I checked them out on Angie's List and found that they were highly rated. I called them around 8pm on Saturday night of a holiday weekend. They called me back within five minutes and said they'd come at 11am the next day. Their man showed up when he was supposed to. He was very professional extremely fast and efficient. I felt that even though he'd come at very short notice on a holiday weekend in miserable heat, he did not charge a lot for the work he did. I highly recommend this company and will use them in the future.

About two weeks before we called Buehner's the A/C began to weaken noticeably. It was cooling, but less and less. And in these late June days when the temps were reaching the '90s everyday, we needed it fixed. Now the house is actually cold and we have to turn it down! All in all this will save us money because the system will not labor as it tries to cool.

Air coming from vents was not well-cooled. I called to ask how quickly someone could get here to add freon and had technician here within the hour. I explained that due to a warranty issue and the need to use a service provider assigned by the warrantor, I could not have the system checked for the necessary corresponding repairs but that I could not delay having freon added to cool the air. They understood the circumstance and obliged me by checking only the freon level and filling it to the required operational level. As in every dealing with this contractor, communication was easy and thorough. Technicians are pleasant, helpful and cooperative. This contractor is a model for professionalism and quality service.

There are a lot of heating and air conditioning and they can ruck ya. I had one guy one time tell me I needed so many pounds of freon, and I really didn't. We rely on our central air from April till October November. We like them and i'll tell you why, a friend of ours is a retired FBI agent and he us to live years next store to the owner, and he has been dealing with them for years. He gaves us their name 17 years ago. I have been using them ever since. I have had my furnace replaced once because of old age but we like them. My son uses them, I mean I guess the whole family.

They come when I need them. They are very dependable. I have used them for years now. I am very happy with them.

Technicians from Ken Buehner & Son Heating Co. had installed our furnace and our air conditioning unit years ago. They have always serviced it and then it became necessary for us to put a ramp for my husband to use as he is disabled. They were very nice to do it for us. They were really helpful in telling us how to solve the problem. They also moved the unit for us at a very reasonable price. The last time our fan froze they serviced it and also showed us how to solve the problem if it happened again in the future. For us, the unique thing about them was their ability to come out and advise us on a problem that can be taken care of at home. Their response time is excellent. Their prices are in line with the others. We haven’t compared prices because we are pleased with them since the time they installed our unit. I would use them in the future.

The technician arrived at our home promptly after we requested service. He was concerned about our light colored carpet and made sure his shoes were clean as to not track in any dirt! He immediately assessed the problem and was able to fix our ac in about 30 minutes! He was courteous and explained what he was doing and how much it would cost. The company sent us an invoice which reflected the price he quoted! (actually it was a few dollars less than his estimate!) This is the third time they have rescued us in a heating/cooling situation!! We will NEVER use anyone else. This company is honest and they are very knowledgeable about their trade. I wish there was an A+ option because that's how highly I would recommend this company.

They are fabulous. I think they are very competent. They always come on time. They are a little high in price.

They seem to be pretty reliable. They are pretty consistent about the way they handle problems and repairs.

Wonderful! These guys were great! They replaced everthing, were quick, professional and very friendly. They even spent an extra hour or so fixing an unexpected problem with the main trunk of my ductwork, which was not part of the origional quote.

The job took longer than anticipated so they worked all day Saturday and Sunday to finish.

They do not take credit cards. The service has been exceptional.

It's a family owned business and they do a remarkable job. They are really polite and extremely courteous. No matter when we have needed them, they come out to help as they have someone always someone on call.

IF THEY CAN'T FIX IT THEY ARE HONEST. BEFORE I HAD THIS FURNACE, THEY TOLD ME THAT IT COULDN'T BE FIXED. THEY ARE VERY REPUTABLE. NOW THAT I'VE GOTTEN OUR NEW FURNACE THROUGH THEM THEY STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK.

WE HAVE USED THEM FOR THIRTY YEARS. EVERYBODY WE KNOW USES THEM AND WE RECOMMEND THEM OFTEN. THEY ARE A REAL HONEST FIRM THAT DOES WONDERFUL WORK. THEY HAVE NEVER LET US DOWN. THEY ARE EXPENSIVE, BUT I THINK EVERYBODY IS. I COULD HAVE FOUND A CHAIN PLACE FOR A LESSER PRICE, BUT I WOULDNT HAVE BEEN AS CONFIDENT.

I GAVE HIM A RATINGS SO OF COARSE I LIKED IT. LET'S JUST SAY HIS WORK IS WORKING. I HAVEN'T HAD TO CALL HIM. THE BATHTUB IS FUNCTIONING PROPERLY. I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS.
