Matt was totally professional and punctual. He was always calling about when he would be on the job and followed through with everything he said. He put up with my dogs running around while he was working and was friendly and pleasant at all times. He was recommended by my neighbor and did not disappoint. I would not hesitate to refer him and would call him again for fencing/deck work.

By the time I had my phone call returned, two other companies had already come out and completed their estimates. The man I spoke with was rather rude, and told me that they "no longer do that type of fence" as though it was below them. I know it's just a black chain link fence, which we are installing to match the rest of our neighborhood. What kind of fencing company can't install a chain link fence? I just felt that he was rude and unprofessional, not to mention very slow at getting back to me.

JR Fencing had the lumber dellivered when he said he would. He started the day he said he would, despite a heat index of 115 degrees! He also finished a full day ahead of projected completion date!

Three large trees from behind my property had fallen and pushed down/crushed a large portion of my back fence. This was a custom built wood fence of high quality materials. All boards were screwed in, not nailed. Matt Warren was one of three individuals/companies that provided an estimate. I chose him because of his positive energy, fair price, confidence and knowledge and long family history in the fence building business. Plus, the reviews on Angie's list provided some level of assurance. I also wanted someone trustworthy working in my back yard. Several of the other "interested builders" were slow to follow up or indicated some type of dishonesty with regards to insurance claims (offering a higher estimate than the materials and labor). Matt was able to share his knowledge and expertise while respecting me as a client. All too often I encounter builders/contractors who want to "take over" and tell me what I need to do while discounting the fact that I might have a brain. Matt was straightforward. What you see is what you get. He constantly updated me on his work status regarding weather conditions, other jobs in the hopper, and when he would be able to start. His commitment to timing and costs was honored perfectly. His attitude and behavior on the job was professional and task oriented. He and his partner were both friendly despite working in the extremely hot, muggy weather that intervened between the non-stop rains that we have been having. Honestly, they went above and beyond due to the adverse weather. My new fence is beautiful...and exactly as it should be. I felt truly fortunate with this positive experience.

High quality construction, and a beautiful looking fence. Job was performed by Matt Warren (JR's son). Having to do it by himself took awhile, but some of that was a result of his attention to detail. I had an electric dog fence wire that was running through the overgrown ivy and the old fence. He was the only contractor who cared enough to prevent it from getting damaged in the construction process (another contractor bidding the job said "we can't be responsible for that.") Matt tied the new fence in on the neighbors side to their existing fence so that their dogs wouldn't get out. I would use their services again and highly recommend them to others.

Left message and got a call a few hours later. Came out next day to give an estimate for this comparatively small project. His estimate came in well below others'. We set a date/time for the project and he came that day and on time. Set the posts, etc. His work was performed with great care and quality (he works together with his son). He did exactly what I wanted, incl. custom pickets for the wooden gate (he cut them after a pic I gave him from another fence). He then came out again the next day (this was a Saturday!) to build the fence, gate, and remove a few old chain link posts. Very courteous and knowledgeable. Gave great advice (I am a first-time home buyer). I will definitely use him again.
