It went very well. He was friendly and helpful.

They were very nice. He is very good, very responsive when I called him. He called back within a couple of hours. My only disappointment is that he does not guarantee the shrubs beyond the season. If you go and buy from Lowes they will guarantee everything for a year but he will do it only that one season. I had one shrub that died that summer he quickly replaced it. We had a rough winter. We lost a lost of these shrubs died right back to the ground and they are just beginning to return. If they have not returned any better next spring I am going to have to replace a few. Most of them have managed to recover but there are the laurels. In the spring we had him come back just to put down some pre-emergent herbicide to prevent the weeds from coming and at that time he added to the mulch. He did mulch everything. He even mulched some existing trees that were there. It was a big job and while it seems expensive while I looked back at all he had to do I think he was reasonable. He sprained a thin layer of black mulch and cleaned out everything. He called it a snapshot application and cleaned and hauled away all the dead leaves and debris that was in the winter. When I call he calls back promptly. When he says he will be out here he was. His men are very nice. $1200 is an awful lot but I could have got it myself a lot cheaper but my husband has had surgery and I am just not free to do this sort of thing. Quality is good. Good responsiveness. He is very professional. Very nice fella. Very easy to talk to.

They rooted out some old bushes that were probably 50 years old and replanted the front house. It was great. The price was in range and the work was great.

Todd came out last year (2013) in the spring. We contracted him to completely re-landscape our house, front, side and along our fence in the back yard. However, the harsh winter killed a few of the plants that he put in. I called Todd to see what could be done about it. I told him i was aware that the warranty did not cover acts of nature or harsh weather but I needed some of the plants replaced anyhow. His guys showed up, replaced the plants and did not charge me for them. Todd's company did a tremendous job standing behind there products and services.

I spent about $3500 with them. They did what they said they were going to do, they did it well and the product turned out well. I had no problems. They were friendly and courteous.

Todd was very pleasant when we had him come out to give us a free estimate for our landscaping needs. He was professional, on time, and extremely friendly. His design was very similar to the landscaper that we chose and the prices were very close as well. My wife actually said it hurt to tell Todd "no", because he is such a nice guy! The reason we chose the other landscaper was simply because we liked a couple of the plants more than the ones Todd chose. Mind you, the plants that Todd chose were very good selections that would have looked good with our house. We really could not have gone wrong with either choice, and on a different day could have just as easily chosen Todd's design - that is how close the two were in design and plant choices. So, just because we didn't hire him to do our landscaping this time I would not hesitate to call him in the future for other landscaping needs! I would highly recommend him due to his fair prices, designs, professionalism, and ease to communicate with.

Used Hancock Landscape for the 2nd time. Improved existing hardscape features that I already had. Installed 3 small concrete paver pads and installed new mulch. Perfect work. Showed up when they said they were going to. Cleaned up after each day on the job. Friendly crew and detail oriented owner. Great company and sticks by his word. The owner wants you to be happy with the work and will ask you if you are satisfied with the progress during the job.

Todd and his crew were excellent at every phase of the project. Todd was prompt for his appointments (unlike some others I tried to engage) for both the initial idea gathering and the presentation of his design and he and his crew were on time for the installation. Todd was considerate of my feelings about my old bushes that my husband planted (but were just too old and overgrown). He asked what type of plants that I liked. Since I don't really know much about plants he showed me lots of examples. I didn't know he did landscape lighting but he suggested it and wow, it really makes a difference. He then made an appointment to present his design. His design was wonderful. I'm really glad he suggested the lighting. His prices were very reasonable. He and his crew then came out and removed all of the old bushes and planted the new plants along with the new LED landscape lighting along with new mulch and left my yard spotless! Wow, what a difference. My house looks great in both the daytime and the nighttime with the new lights. Plus, I feel safer at night. I know his lighting is of a much higher quality than what you can get at Lowes or Home Depot and I'm confident it will last for years and years. Todd told me exactly how to water and care for the new plants. What I like most about Hancock landscaping is that I feel Todd did not try to sell me something outside of my budget.

Fall cleanup and trimming of bushes.

Todd Hancock was one of the nicest & most knowledgeable landscapers I have ever worked with. Before starting the work, he & I planned out the shape of the beds, he discussed plant material, options & supplies with me. During the work he & his crew made sure it was going as I expected. When the walkway lighting went in, Todd asked me to call him after dark & let him know if the lighting was adequate & met our satisfaction. When I decided we needed another light, he came the next evening, installed the light & returned after dark to be sure it was what we needed. I can't say enough about his professionalism & what a pleasure it was to work with him & his company. We will be hiring him to redo out backyard.

Todd promptly returned my call and we set up an appointment to discuss the work. During our initial appointment we discussed the work and Todd prepared a plan and estimate. I had a firm date that I needed the work completed by. A detailed agreement was prepared. Todd's crew did great work on the entire project delivering everything as promised and on time. It was a great experience and transformed the front yard. Very pleased and so are the neighbors.

I was very pleased with the entire project and I'm not easy to please. Truthfully, I can be an a** to contractors if I feel are not doing the job I'm paying for. First thing I noticed was the attention made to not damage my property such as laying plastic on the drive to bring in several dirt loads. We have a bluestone walkway and porch and the crew carefully placed plywood and tarps over the walk and floor so as to not scratch or damage. Everyday, the crew did a very good job at clean up before they left the job. The other thing I noticed was that some members of the crew smoked. I hate smoking. I did not find one cigarette butt on my property. I have had words with past contractors over this habit. I was very surprised and pleased the crew was curteous to not drop cigarettes in my yard. All that said, the real thing I payed for, landscaping, looks great. The plant recommendations Todd Hancock made were very good. I grew up in a family greenhouse business and was impressed with the variety and quality.

Todd was outstanding to work with and was very knowledgeable about the plants and design that would work best for my house. He and his crew were very professional were in constant contact with me throughout the process to make sure I was happy with what they were doing. They even changed out a couple of plants that I just was not crazy about. They were here when they said they would be and left the work areas clean. I love the finished product and would not hesitate to use this company again or recommend to friends!

We needed to update the front landscape of 50 yr old half dead taxus bushes. Todd was very helpful with suggestions and a design that would redefine the curb appeal. He made recommendations after listening to my low maintenance speech. He was very good about communicating with me and kept me informed as to when crew would be coming to remove the bushes and when they would be there to do the planting. The crew was on time, friendly and cleaned up before leaving. Todd took time to meet me at nursery so I could see plants for myself. Overall this was the easiest home improvement project where I had no headaches, delays or problems. Very pleased with the finished product, difference of night and day. I would definitely recommend Todd Hancock and will call him again.

Todd Hancock, owner, met us at the appointed time to discuss the project. Todd explained the history of his company and provided examples of his work and references. After discussing the three projects and options available for each, Todd returned within a week with material samples and drawings of the project. Todd took the time to take my wife and I to the nursery to look at the plantings that he proposed to use. The project was completed in a timely and professional manor. The workers were clean, courteous and professional. Hancock landscaping is the only company that I would use for future projects. There's an old saying that "If momma's not happy, nobody's happy" Well momma is real happy.

They showed up every mornining as planned and worked very hard all day. They cleaned up the area every day before they left. They went out of their way to do an extra good job. I was very pleased Have a problem. 04/14/2014 ======================= They told me that all plants that they install are guaranteed for 1 year. I talked to Mr Handcock on 4/14/2014 because 8 of my plants have died. Mr Handcock says he cannot guarantee plants when there is a freeze. This means that his warranties are worthless because there will be periods of freeze in every year. Resolution of problem 04/15/2014 =========================== I was mistaken about the 1 year warranty. I looked at the contract that I signed and it said there was no warranty on the plants.

Could not be happier! Todd was knowledgeable about several different plants that work for my situation. Job was completed sooner, and cheaper than we had originally planned. I changed my mind after the install about one plant, and it was replaced with something else the next day. Will definitely use again in the future!

They did an awesome job! The owner was really professional and nice. I had to call back on one area that was missed but they came back right away and fixed it!

Todd and his team did an amazing job on my back yard. His vision was right on track. A year later and the plants he selected complement the pool and entire back yard perfectly! His team was always on time and they cleaned up the job site each day before leaving. I was not happy with a couple of crepe myrtles that were suffering from the extreme heat and Todd came out immediately and replaced them with hardier ones. Everyone that comes to my house and sees the back yard comments on how professional and beautiful the landscaping looks. I would definitely use Hancock Landscaping again!!

Todd walked through the area with me to get my ideas on what I wanted done, and made suggestions. A week or two later he came by with a drawing and invoice for my husband and me. We paid approximately a 10% deposit. That night we made a few adjustments to the plan, and a few more were made as the planting progressed.. Because of his other commitments, it was about a month before the actual work was done. However, everything was completed in one day, including immaculate clean-up. There was one small tree that I had questioned because of its size, and then had a nursery replace later. After two years I'm still pleased that everything is thriving and is much easier to keep trimmed.

He made some suggestions and did not go overboard or try to sell me more than what was necessary. The estimate was reasonable at $1,600 for the work that needed to be done. First we scheduled Todd and his crew to do the work back in June. They showed up and were about to begin pulling one of the bushes, when they noticed a bird nest with eggs. Todd immediately called me to ask if we would mind delaying until the eggs hatch and the birds leave the nest. That he cared enough to ask and be concerned about the birds, was a major positive in our book. We called him when the birds left the nest to reschedule. The crew came out and pulled the bushes one afternoon and came back the next day to do the rest of the work. We have a lot of plant / flower beds so there is a lot of work and it took most of the day. They were very professional and did everything as planned. The job cost about $1,600, which included pulling about 5 bushes, planting 2 bushes and 3 flower plants. removing weeds, cutting out and shaping edging and finally mulching all beds and 4 trees. They were very careful to not damage the sprinkler system and lighting systems. The cost did not include trimming all my existing bushes, which I did myself before they came out. I would definitely hire them again and would also highly recommend them.

Did a great job. Since we planted late fall a few plants didn't come back this spring but Hancock promptly came and replaced plants.

Todd came out for initial estimate very timely and professional. He was very detailed and we had all confidence with him after or meeting. May 8, we choose Hancock Landscaping from three estimates. Todd drew up the plan and the visual really helped. We knew the process would start late May or early June. Early June the ground was prepared and on June 11 the landscaping was started. It was finished the next day and the results were stunning. Great job. Would definitely use Hancock Landscaping again.
