Hancock Landscape

Todd Hancock is very polite, professional and knowledgeable on landscape. He arrived on time for the estimate and was very patient and worked with me so I could get the most out of my budget. I was pleased with the services his team provided and will definitely use him in the future. I recommend him to everyone!

First I must say that Todd Hancock is very easy to work with. He was always in contact with us through the entire process. After we determined back in August that we were going to use Hancock, We set to have the work done in October. He said if they were able to get to it sooner he would call and let us know. Toward the end of Sept ( on a Monday), he did call us to let us know they could begin. They came out and dug out old bushes. Todd said they would finish the job later in the week. Unfortunately, it rained that day. Todd called to let us know they wouldn't be out until the next Monday. On Monday they arrived promptly and was finished in a couple of hours. Even though there was a slight delay in getting the work done, Todd would always call and keep us informed. As for the cost, Todd was much less than the other companies that gave us an estimate. We are very pleased with Hancock Landscaping

Todd Hancock was personally hands-on throughout the design work, heavy labor, clean up, and final touches. He can recommend design for you or follow preferred specs, and his work is highly professional. He works as though he is landscaping his own property, simultaneously demonstrating talents of an engineer and an artist. I highly recommend Hancock Landscape if you want to invest in punctual, honest, and expert landscaping.

All experiences were positive. Todd was professional, on time, and stuck to the original quote after some unplanned and impossible to know challenges occurred. I highly recommend Hancock Landscaping and will use them again for my landscaping needs.

Todd's company is quite busy, so it took almost 2 months to actually get the work performed, but the work was done extremely well. Todd was very detail-oriented and was able to exactly match our vision for what we needed done. His crew was very careful about not disturbing the rest of our yard while doing the work. Great job, will definitely contact them for any other landscaping needs.

Todd called to thank me for my business upon receipt of signed contract then kept me updated via text regarding when he could get to my job. Workers arrived promptly on work days and were patient with my observation and questions--I'm always curious about construction processes. They finished the job as promised and left the place cleaner than they found it!

I contacted Todd through Angie's list. He got back to me in 3 days. He was very busy and wasn't able to give me an estimate for 2 weeks. When he did arrive at my house he was very punctual. We have a deer problem and I was surprise that he was not knowledgeable regarding deer resistant plants. (He kept making recommendations on plant that the deer would devour). However, when we finally decided on the plants I was very pleased. He told me he was going on vacation for a week so he wouldn't be able to get the estimate to me for about 1 1/2 weeks. I waited over a month and called him. He said he has had problems with employees and has been very busy. He has the estimate on his desk. When I tried to pin him down on when he would get me the estimate, he was very vague. If he is too busy, he should have contacted me long ago so I can look at other bids.

I can highly recommend Hancock Landscaping. Todd Hancock came out and met me at my house to discuss my project. We talked about options and materials and Todd actually laid out the template for the walkway on the ground so my wife and I could visualize it. Todd's entire crew were very professional and the project was completed before the promised date. The work was very intensive and the cutting and installing of the pavers takes specific skills and patience. I would not want to have this work done by a company that doesn't have extensive experience in this type of paver installation. I chose Hancock not only because of their paver installation experience, but also because of Todd's attention to detail and hands on approach when meeting with me. By the time the crew was done they had left my yard and driveway looking as though they never had been there. The walkway is stunning and I have had overwhelmingly positive comments from everyone who has seen it. Todd has followed up with me thoroughly after the installation and it is that kind of attention to detail that impresses me most. This is a very well run company and they are very deserving of their high rating.

My front yard had basic landscaping done about five years ago but there was no personality to it. Hancock Landscape has change that completely! Todd Hancock sat with me to discuss what I wanted from my yard, showed me computer pictures of residential landscapes and various plants to help me define what I wanted. With my input he developed a master plan that extended landscaping from the wall of shrubs in front of my house to the entrance sidewalk that started from the driveway and included an island on the lawn near the driveway. The challenge was that it rained frequently over a two week period, postponing the timeline, and the communication from Mr. Hancock and his team was exceptional. I cannot speak highly enough about the professionalism and quality of work from this team of people. I believe the fee for the service was more than reasonable for the amount of time several people spent working in my yard (several short days and one long day, given the weather) and the quantity of plants/materials that were provided.

Todd and his crew were excellent and very professional. Todd was prompt on our initial meeting and stayed at our house for several hours, designing a plan for what we wanted and went over everything with us. Once our project started, he kept great communication with us, due to rain/ weather issues. I can't say enough on how happy and pleased we are with the work that was completed. They removed the old pavers & replaced with new ones. They used our old pavers to build up an area so that a paver walkway and area to keep our trashcans on the side of the house. I love the pavers that were used on this area. It turned out great! New pavers, plants and mulching around our tree, beds, and both sides of the house. The drainage problem /erosion areas were fixed & looks great. In fact, before the job was completed, during one of the heavy rains, not once did our sump pump come on! After they were finished, they cleaned everything up. We will be having them back next month to add a retaining wall as well adding a french line to the drain spout in the back of the house. I can't say enough how excellent Todd and his crew were and the results. Thank you Hancock Landscaping for our awesome looking yard!

Todd kept me updated as to timing. Of the project. They completed the job in short time. Cleaned up completely - I would never had known they were there other than the refreshed look. The new plants look great!

Todd and his crew were excellent. He presented a plan to remove our old landscaping and update it. Everything went as planned and expected. We would definitely use Todd again and recommend him.

Todd and his team were great to work with. Todd drew up a landscape plan with great ideas for our yard taking into account light and future growth. The quote was reasonable for the work to be completed. The team was even able to make changes as requested during the plan walk through. The work was completed on time and he yard looks great.

The vendor did exactly what we asked for, for the price stated. The vendor showed up on time, completed the work, cleaned up their area, and asked us to inspect their work, This vendor exceeded our expectations on many levels. We will be using them again in the future.

The job was horrible. I will never recommend them. They did not do what we asked them to do like they were supposed to trim the trees and bushes and they did not trim them. They did plant all the stuff that we wanted them to plant where we asked them to plant them but the brick edgings were damaged, we asked them to fix but instead of putting the dirt to make it compact, they put concrete on it. It?s not the whole area that has concrete, it?s just four or five areas of bricks that have concrete. I discovered that pretty much later.

Todd sketched out a plan for our backyard landscaping needs. We liked the plan he came out with, but decided to go in a different direction.

Todd Hancock, owner, of Hancock Landscape in Louisville, Kentucky recently worked with me and my husband to provide our new landscape lightning package for our home. Todd was great! He was very easy to work with and went above and beyond what was expected all while getting our input throughout the job. My husband had always picked out and installed our outdoor lights, but they were either not strong enough or would stop working shortly after installation. Todd assured us with a warranty and even came out to our house multiple times day and night to set up "test" lights to see where we wanted them, the wattage, shape of fixture, etc. Even after the job was completed, Todd came back out to the house to ensure our satisfaction and to check on the lights to see how they looked! I would highly recommend Todd and his company for outdoor lighting. I wouldn't hesitate to use his company again.

We were very pleased with the results. Mr. Hancock personally consulted with us, listened to our ideas, made suggestions, and supervised the work.

This was a company that stood by their word. They have great suggestions for plants in different areas that would be successful planting. Even with a harsh winter last year, he came back out and replaced a few plants that did not survive the tough weather conditions. What I found the best was he was so responsive to all questions. He was prompt on the first visit and each followup call. Todd was very conscientious about making sure that we liked each idea he brought to us. He truly takes care of his customers and I would recommend him to friends

Todd was very responsive to my requests for pricing and answered all of my questions. I had several Landscapers in the area that I reached out to for quotes and many of them did not return my call or did not even show up for appointments. Todd was very pleasant and professional to work with. I will definitely continue to use him for my landscaping needs.

This was an unusual job. Kind of experimental to try to deflect water coming from neighbor's driveway. We have had one good rain since, and the system worked to my satisfaction. It is an attractive solution to an odd situation.

Project went great. Vendor is very responsive and punctual. Everything promised was delivered as requested and on time. Vendor was extremely flexible with changes as project progressed. Clean up was terrific. I would use this vendor again without any hesitation.

Hancock landscape showed up when they said they would, explained planned work beforehand, and priced all work before starting same. Their work is top notch and you deal directly with the owner. Todd very much wants to ensure that you are happy with end product and we are!.

Hancock Landscaping started on the first day with cleaning out the mulch beds and trimming. They were very professional and efficient. They spent a few hours at my home getting all this work done and then they came back first thing the following morning to put the mulch on. Initially I just asked them to put mulch on and at the last moment I decided to add some plants. They were incredibly flexible and accommodating. Within the next 45 minutes, Todd had brought over some small flowers, a few small bushes and hostas. The end result is that my yard looks fantastic. There is great curb appeal and I can feel good about people coming to look at the house. I don't have much of a back yard, so I was worried about showing it to potential buyers. Hancock Landscaping took care of all of those worries as well. I am very pleased with the end result and so glad I went with this company. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good landscaping company.

Hancock landscaping did a great job on the 3 dry creek beds. The workers are great and Todd has great ideals. I would use agin for any future landscaping. Drainage problems solved.
